Harper Effect: Canada Bolts UN Jew Hate Fest
I attribute bold, rational moves to PM Harper. America should have been the leader to bolt this Jew hating ritual (Khalilzad, Our Muslim at the UN, Backs Jew Hating Durban) but I am glad someone had the moral clarity to do the right thing. The Bush Doctrine nay be DOA at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue but it's alive and well in Harper's hands.

Critics fear Durban conference would be anti-west, anti-Israel
UNITED NATIONS -- Canada is poised to become the first country to significantly distance itself from a major anti-racism conference the United Nations is planning for next year.
Maxime Bernier, the Foreign Minister, is expected to announce as early as Wednesday Canada is dropping out of planning for the Durban II Conference, which the UN is billing as a global follow-up to its 2001 World Conference Against Racism in Durban, South Africa.
Insiders say the government feels the new conference is shaping up to be like the anti-West and anti-Israel free-for-all that critics said the initial gathering quickly turned into.
In the years since that cataclysm in Durban, the blueprint turned the traditional charge of "all that is Jewish is evil" on its head to "all that is evil is Jewish", and a claim that the Holocaust had empowered the Jew in exonerating his multitude of crimes - the greatest being "the Naqba" of Palestinian misfortune.
