Bork Endorses Romney
That's a big deal ............... huge. Means a lot to me.
Today, noted conservative jurist Judge Robert Bork endorsed Governor Mitt Romney for President of the United States. As Mike Allen at Politico notes, "Few names carry as much automatic street cred with hard-core conservatives."
I quite agree.

Gov. Romney would be quite irresistable - if we knew with complete confidence that he's for real. As a social conservative, I don't like his positions as governor of Mass. I hope his change of heart is genuine. We don't need another apparent conservative who will betray us once he gets elected, like Bush.

Also - in the Iowa debate - he seemed to eager, like many others on stage, to endorse the anthropogenic global warming theory. Only Thompson had the guts to say no. Why is he so slow on the campaign trail?

Mitt is a rarity in politics: a truly intelligent man **outside the political world,** a man of high accomplishments in the very competitive world of business entrepreneurship.
A businessman's approach is not always a good match for politics, God knows, but Mitt is also a man of vision and superb character. He certainly has "all the tools," as we say in sports, to be a great leader. And his Mass. record was damn good, considering the unbelievably one-party state in which he had to work.
GO MITT 2008!

Hon. Judge Bork has also pointed out that the Israeli Supreme Court is the worst in the world among democratic nations.
Judg Bork is a major intellectual and his endorsement counts with me, also.
