So Thankful
THANKSGIVING!
So thankful for my girls, my life, my country, the pursuit of happiness, the men and women that stand guard and defend us -- our freedoms... thankful for my readers, my fellow fighters, my music, my books, my movies, ART!, poetry, kindreds, BTWA. I am thankful for your support, your daily emails, and and I am thankful for .......... Atlas.
Hey guys, take a second and go here to thank the real heroes.
Carolyn adds,
It gets me tearful at times to realize how lucky I am. Just even the small things - like turning on a tap and getting clean water by the gallons, flicking a switch and light floods my apartment. I am warm, well fed (in fact - after tomorrow - over fed), I have tons of books to read and DVD's to watch and music to listen to. I have savings, I am healthy - and most of all I live in the greatest country that's ever existed.
And I have wonderful people like you to commune with.
Doesn't get any better than that.
Happy Thanksgiving!
And remember,
When you sit down this year to celebrate, remember that the essential, secular meaning of Thanksgiving is the celebration of successful production. Thanksgiving is the producer's holiday. More at the Atlasphere.

Happy Turkey Day from the snow-dusted Midwest USA.

Have a Blessed Thanksgiving today and every
day from the great state of Texas!
Thank you Pamela for all that you do to keep us informed 24/7, 365 days a year.
You are a treasure to all of us.

Pamela,
Thank you for your energy and devotion to doing the right thing, for communicating the need for us to carry on with our efforts to protect and defend our society.
Thank you for sharing with us your beautiful children, to remind us that it is not about us and our generation but instead it is about them and all the generations to come. It is for them that we must defend, preserve, teach, and build our families and communities.
The turkey is in the oven, the last leaves are falling, we are at this most American of holidays, sharing a warm cyber-embrace, praying for our best brothers, sisters, sons and daughters that have stepped forward to mix it up with barbarians --- one might comment that these are interesting times, but in fact, all time has been interesting, we are just living the version of this current era, at least those of us who see through clear eyes.

Happy Thanksgiving.
You gonna watch the Laurel & Hardy movie about the tin soldiers and toyland they show every T-day in NY (at least they did when I lived in Massapequa as a child).?.?

Can you top this?
The name of that wonderful movie is The March of the Wooden Soldiers, also known as Babes in Toyland.
One of my favorite childhood movies. It took me years to shake off a fear of bogeymen.

Happy Thanksgiving from Israel!

Also in Israel here. Without realizing that today is Thanksgiving, my wife served turkey drumsticks for dinner this evening. The kids call them brontosaurus legs.

Pam,
There are so many things I'm thankful for I couldn't name them all, but here are some: Western Civilization, USA, Israel, the old and new testaments, and not least of all, Atlas Shugs.
Keep fighting the good fight.
