We in America cloak ourselves in a certain smugness. While we look down at what our European counterparts have done with their continent - abandoning it to Muslim immigration in pursuit of of a Euro/Arab axis (Eurabia), we delude ourselves into believing we are different.  They drove their countries to absolute ruination in two generations and we won't.

Take little comfort. The jihad is coming quietly to American by  the intentional building of Muslim populations in small to medium American cities. Whole communities are being importing from countries like Somalia with the tacit approval of the State Department and the complicity of companies like Clintonista backed Tyson Foods.

Its always a shock to people when they first find out how Refugee Resettlement works.   Ann and Judy over at Refugee Resettlement Watch started working on it  last spring when they learned that the Virginia Council of Churches had been bringing mostly Muslim refugees into their county in western Maryland (entirely paid for by the Federal government)   When no one would explain to them how this could happen they set out to figure it out on their own...  consequently they blog.    They managed to stop further resettlement in Hagerstown (their county seat) through a vigorous grassroots campaign. Ann has provided me with all of this devastating intel. Once again the individual saves the day.

Check the numbers. 70,000  Somalis have been brought through  Refugee Resettlement and they are having babies, fast and furiously.   Further, they can and do bring family members who are not refugees.   But, an even bigger number is the Bosnians----over 100,000 (mostly Muslim).

What is happening in many places is secondary migration.  The non-profit group that resettles them is only responsible for their whereabouts for 4 months, so naturally certain nationalities are joining others of their kind in certain parts of the country.

Immigration Watch International  wrote here, "And many of the locals don’t like the transformation of their city into a taxpayer-supported Muslim center."

Since 1983 200,000 Muslims have immigrated here via the refugee program and they  have brought their extended families. And they are having lots of babies. And no one is following this with the exception of a few extraordinary individuals. Everyone is focused on illegal immigration and terrorists sneaking into the country but Muslim leaders and these do-good NGO's   are quietly growing these Muslim communities apace  in medium and small cities in America.

Stories like this fly under the radar screen;

According to annual reports, the Somali Center in south Nashville receives $400,000 per year in taxpayer dollars from federal, state and local governments.

But what has some asking questions is how the center’s executive director, Abdizirik Hassan, is still getting grants after pleading guilty to making false statements during a government investigation. In 2001, Hassan's Nashville bank was shut down by counter-terrorism investigators because they said the bank was linked to Al-Barakat. Al-Barakat is a bank and wiring transfer service that is linked to al-Qaida, according to investigators. Hassan was arrested and charged with felony illegal banking. While out on bond, Hassan and the Somali Center were awarded a grant in the amount of nearly $500,000 by the same federal government that indicted him. The grant came from the U.S. Office of Minority Health. The grant was intended to help African refugees with mental health, to help stop domestic violence and to stop the practice of female genital mutilation, which health officials said is still happening in the U.S. Full article here.

Where were those dollars going - not to health screening now when you have a Refugee working at Tyson Foods died of TB. If a refugee died of TB in January, he must have come into this country with active TB. This raises the question: How good is the screening procedure used for refugees? And speaking of Tyson. Over at Lucianne;

EMPORIA — When hundreds of Somali refugees began showing up to work at the meatpacking plant, nurses Lori Torres and Renee Hively were among the first to get to know the exotic, new arrivals. "We got notified a day in advance that 70 Somalis were being transferred from a (Tyson Foods) plant in Nebraska," Hively recalled. "That 70 soon grew into 400, seemingly overnight."   

They are importing whole Muslim communities. Overnight.

In addition to the TB Somali refugees are bringing into America, note the description of who these refugees are: "mostly young men." Thousands of young Muslim men, with TB.

Emporia is rapidly becoming a major destination for these tough foot soldiers of Islam. Because of its size, not unlike what happened to Lewiston, Maine another small city that has experienced difficulties with Somali immigrants, this influx will have a substantial and taxing impact. We have written about problems of assimilating Muslim Somali refugees in other heartland cities such as Indianapolis, Indiana, Minneapolis, Minnesota, Lincoln, Nebraska, Kansas City, Kansas, Nashville, Tennessee to name a few.

Islamist Mosques will sprout up and Imams will doubtless deliver fire breathing Friday sermons filled with the usual incitement to hate against the Somalis welcoming hosts. the ‘unbelievers’ or kuffirs in Emporia.  Perhaps Tyson meat packers  might succeed in extracting prayer time and wudus or foot baths, will follow. Just as their Somali cousins did in Lincoln with able assistance of Muslim Brotherhood front group, CAIR. Who knows, even female genital mutilation, spousal abuse and other traits common to the Somalis will burst forth upon the local scene in Emporia. To quote the Emporia Gazette article:

The news cheered Fardusa Council, community liaison for Tyson, and Emporia Refugee Resettlement Alliance members laughed when she responded, “Hurry up and bring ’em so I can shut off my phone.”

The folks in Emporia KS could really use some help in advance of a public meeting on Wednesday (the 28th).   The meeting about Somali refugees coming in large numbers to work at Tyson's Food meatpacking plant will be contentious.  There is a little hardworking band of activist citizens trying to gather the facts on what is happening to them.

I think one of the key players is Fardusa Council. She is a Somali employed by Tyson's Food who speaks 7 languages and whose husband is in our US military.   I don't understand why such an accomplished person is hanging around Emporia promoting a refugee center.  It could just be the obvious---she is being paid well by Tyson's Food.

If anyone has any information on her or what's up with Tyson's Food other than the obvious cheap labor source in the Somali refugees, please send it my way and I will get to the citizens in Emporia or let you know how to reach them......

The plaintiffs in a lawsuit accusing Tyson Foods Inc. of hiring illegal aliens to work at poultry plants are focusing on the meat producer’s relationship with the League of Latin American Citizens.

The class-action suit in U. S. District Court in Eastern Tennessee claims Springdale-based Tyson Foods knowingly hired illegal aliens to work for wages below what American workers would take. It was filed in April 2002 on behalf of former Tyson workers in several states, not including Arkansas.

Add Hagerstown, Maryland to the list of American communities that have mounted enough resistance to stop the Refugee Industry from imposing refugees on their towns.

U.S. refugee law requires that refugee resettlement agencies—the money-making refugee “contractors”—consult with local governments before moving in. But the “contractors” continue to set up their operations in an expanding number of towns without informing them.

As a National Governors’ Association report from Spring 2007 noted:

"The Governors continue to be concerned about the lack of adequate consultation on the part of the voluntary agencies [VOLAGs] and their local affiliates in the initial placement of refugees and on the part of the federal government in the equitable distribution of refugees and entrants.

"States have continually urged the federal government to establish a mechanism to ensure appropriate coordination and consultation. However, significant progress has not been made.

l   There should be a requirement in the State Department/VOLAG contract to limit placement to areas conducive to resettlement. In addition, VOLAGs and their local affiliates should be required to have a letter of agreement that specifies that there has been consultation and planning for the initial placement of refugees and sets forth the continuing process of consultation. The requirement in the State Department/VOLAG contract to limit placement to areas conducive to resettlement should include concurrence by the state."

Thus in Hagerstown a refugee “contractor”, Virginia Council of Churches (VCC), [Send them mail]which subcontracts to Church World Services, quietly opened an office there in 2004 and began moving Meskhetian Turks and other refugees into the community without discussion.

The barbarians are truly in the gates and American businesses like Tyson in Emporia, Swift in Lincoln, Nebraska and Opryland and Dell Computers in Nashville, Tennessee are facilitating this influx of Somali Islamists in America’s heartland.

Importing whole Islamic communities into small and middle town America is diabolical and national suicide. Those chickens will come home to roost. No pun intended.

Here in Emporia, Kansas there is a social cauldron boiling. Catholic Charities in Kansas City, along with our State Department, Tyson Foods, and state social service agencies are moving this city toward becoming a refugee resettlement center, particularly Somali refugees who have been bounced from place to place ever since they arrived here in America.

When the announcement was made public in the Emporia Gazette on November 3rd the backlash was palpable. Some in power claimed that the reaction was stemming from hatred and racism. While Emporia, like any community, has its share of racists and bigots, the claim made by those who should have known better was a categorical lie. The overwhelming majority of the people who live here are of good will, eager to lend a helping hand to those in need. They’re not racists or xenophobes. This is a good and generous city.

The thing that got people upset was the fact that Federal bureaucrats, a large employer, and social service agencies seem to be making decisions about our collective futures without our consent and with little regard to the impact their decisions will have on us.

Pam - This is a really important post. Most people don't get it about immigration. The same thing is happening in Canada too. Entire communities are being destroyed overnight. A myth? Absolutely not. We lived through it and had to move. What was once a beautiful safe neighborhood turned into an Islamic nation so fast that we didn't know what hit us. We put money down on a partially built condo. By the time it was finished in under a year - the neighborhood was gone and we were living in the middle of Iran filled with obnoxious male bastards. I was frequently shoved, pushed and glared at because I was not dressed appropriately and not Muslim. I, and others like me were continually put in our place. It was unbearable. We had to leave.

Other friends have had to move from nice neighborhoods because they were taken over by Somalis. Their neighborhoods were no longer safe. The woman experienced the same problems I had.

It's happened in our rural areas too. In one area the locals were completely unaware of what was about to occur in their community. I swear that this is a true story. On September 11th, 2001 several hundred acres were purchased by a Muslim organization. The purchase had been approved by the local government because a mosque and community center were to be built on this Islamic compound. The local residents were never informed of this behind the scenes deal made by their municipality. No doubt some power broker for immigrants put pressure on the municipal government. Anyway, on September 11, 2002 for an anniversary celebration 1800 Muslims moved into this rural area. Boom!!! Overnight a community destroyed. There was no warning ahead of time. They moved in with tents and trailers en mass. Done without warning or discussion with long time residents. The locals woke up that September 11th morning, and discovered that their community as they knew it was gone forever. This community had thrived for years, some of the farmers families had been there for several generations going back a hundred years. When the locals complained - they were condemned as racists by their local government, and mainstream media.

Our governments talk the talk but behind the scenes a very different reality is taking place.

Islam must be really special - our Governments keep telling us it is. In the meantime the rest of us get the shaft.

Pamela - you & I don't always fall on the same side but I have a lot of respect for your writing & your site - and on this immigration issue you are DEAD ON.

I have extended family in Canada and Europe. My Canadian familia all tell me that Muslims are coming in DROVES to Canada and making their way to the U.S. through one of the most friendly borders in the world. Canadians are trying (half-heartedly) to stop it.

What makes anyone think it will be any different with Mexico? Mexico, being as corrupt as it is, will take anyone's money - even a terrorists - to help get people into the U.S.

You are so right - Importing Muslims into small town America is a PC ticking bomb. Never invite evil in - why haven't we learned since 9/11??

Cultural diversity exist and cultures have rights. This vision overtly denies "human rights." Human rights means that refugees all have a human right to enter this country which overrides our culturist rights.

For those hooked on universal human rights, realize that if we do not protect Western nations the whole idea of rights will die.

We are under no universal rights regime's obligation to let all third-world illiterates escaping a war scene to enter our nation. They likely have nothing to add and no intimate knowledge for or affinity with our culture. Tell those who love the UN that neither China nor Iran accept random refugees in for the sake of human rights. We are under no obligation to undermine our national cultural heritage or solvency.

This Western adoption of international human rights has led to our being the only governments with no proper sense of culturism. It is dangerous and infuriating!!!!

Barbara: While there is truth in what you say that in some circumstances efforts in Canada are half-hearted. However, SOME Canadians are actively trying to stop it - I assure you there is nothing half-hearted about my efforts or the efforts of many people I know. I have done absolutely nothing but fight the presence of Islam in my country since 911. In fact it controls my life and the lives of countless others. The same statement could be said about the U.S. Some are actively trying to stop it and then there are others who exert little or no effort and approach it half-heartedly. In both Canada and the U.S. countless citizens have their heads buried in the sand. Both countries have citizens who suffer the same mental illness - denial. It is not just Canadians who are avoiding facing reality. There would be no need for Pam's site if the majority of U.S. citizens had faced the truth. She would be free to do a site on art or movies. Instead she works her ass off to convince the ostriches in your country and hopefully the one's in mine that our futures are at great risk.

As for Mexico - Islam is very active there, and throughout the rest of Latin America. In fact, Islam is making great strides using bribes and in some circumstances violence to convert entire communities. Those Mexicans coming across your borders may no longer be Catholics but may have already converted to Islam.

Jane: I apologize if by "Canadians" you felt I was making a sweeping generalization. I wasn't. I know there are some in the US and Canada actively working to stop this.

And you are right on about people not seeing. It's amazing to me how people bury their heads in the sand. I have a family member working for a Presidential candidate - she & I agree a lot BUT on the subject of Islamofascism & Israel we are WORLDs apart. She is one of the KUMBAYA crowd in that department who doggedly expects those animals to actually have a real conversation or negotiation with us.

Pam has said a number of times on her site that the Koran should be required reading. She's right - its a very violent and aggressive book and if more people knew what was in it - they might get a clue that we aren't even of a CLOSE let alone SAME mindset as the 'Religion of Peace.'

Mexico is hopeless. I have been there 2x on vacation and was completely disgusted with the country, the political climate - I will never go back.

I counsel abuse victims when I am well enough and it never ceases to amaze me how many people are more than willing to look the other way from ANY sort of abuse. Barbara: I was in an absolutely filthy mood yesterday, and over reacted. It was one of those horrid Islam days where I just get sick to death of the problem, and feeling like we are getting no where. Oddly enough it wasn't just me. The chap who runs Illustrted P.I.G. for Islam was obviously in a filthy mood too. Usually his posts are calm and well thought out, with no swearing. But yesterday,he was enraged about France, and many other things. Those of us who spend a lot of time on this subject have moments of wanting to scream and pull our hair out. We see the dangers, they continue to worsen, yet our governments work against us, and the majority still don't know or care. So I apologize if I took out my bad mood on you. My poor husband will verify - he wisely kept out of my way.

Yes, Pam is right the Koran should be mandatory reading for all adult westerners, and then the book should be burned. It is nothing more than hateful filth that justifies and excuses obscene and violent behavior. There is nothing in "The Religion of Peace" that warrants our respect, courtesy or assistance. It is absurd that our leaders give this community the time of day, let alone billions of aid or trade.

shmujew - I've been thinking all morning about how much we have lost already. Canada was a peaceful country, and while we had our share of racial difficulties as a rule people generally got along. We are comprised of immigrants from around the world - yet found a way to co-exist, accept each others differences, and share in our love of country. Then the wind changed - immigrants unlike any other have swarmed our shores with absolutely no loyalty to our country or our principles. Our peaceful country is now in a constant state of anxiety, and long standing loyal citizens are shoved to the side and tossed in the garbage. In the meantime our politicians willingly oblige, cater to, appease and bend over for those who are determined to rip this country apart. My heart is sick every single second of every single day. I and others are beating our heads against brick walls. The clock is moving faster towards our demise - yet where it counts with our politicians nothing is changing. The immigration hasn't stopped, and they are not doing what is necessary to protect this country for the next generation. It's not much of a legacy that we are leaving for our children.

I just read an article yesterday that a woman has been charged by the Canadian Human Rights Commission for publishing Bible passages online that were derogatory towards homosexuality. She is facing 5 years in jail. Yet that same commission turns a blind eye to the hate that comes out of mosques and Islamic organizations. It's ok to call for the death of Infidels - that's not racist - that's religious. It's ok to call Jews apes and pigs or Christians dogs - again it's religious. It's ok to call for the destruction of the west. That's just a political opinion. Islamic bookstores are filled with methodologies of Jihad - but the Canadian Human Rights Commission allows them to stay open. Our nation has lost its mind, and I am not sure that we will ever recover our sanity.

All of us must keep pounding away at our leaders. I repeat - if they don't hear our voices then we don't have a hope in hell of surviving this invasion. We may as well pack it in now and convert if we are just going to silently and passively give in to Islam. I would rather be dead than submit to Islam, and I will spend every last breath fighting them.

The largest mosque that was placed in Calgary was a huge political statement from the Islamic community. It was strategically placed in the heart of our oil country, and where our Prime Minister hails from. Everything they do is carefully thought through. They have put down roots in Canada's heartland.

I don't know about you but I am no longer able to enjoy my life in the way I did prior to 911. My days are spent in the swamp known as Islam. I admire Pam's ability to do what she does yet still find joy in other things. I think the presence of kids in one's life helps one to do that.

Infidels are servants of Allah and his followers. The appreciation that you are looking for is unlikely to be found. I hope that I am proven wrong and that you can report back to say that you have witnessed a new beginning. But, I do not believe that we will witness the kind of gratitude that others have felt getting a new life filled with opportunity. Instead entitled will continue to the driving force.

Two points about Arab-Israeli conflict.

1. Judging by the amount of news coverage it gets, Arab-Israeli conflict is the central conflict of the Muslim world. However almost every other conflict in the Muslim world, i.e., Afghanistan, India, Iraq, Sudan, Yugoslavia, etc., each produced more Muslim deaths than the Arab-Israeli conflict. And most of the Muslim blood of the Arab-Israeli conflict is on Muslim hands.

2. An average Muslim living in Israel has more freedoms that an average Muslim living in a Muslim country.

Conclusion: any Muslim attacking Israel in the name of liberating Muslims (politically or otherwise) is either too blind to see the facts or has an ulterior motive. Most common motives being expansionism of Islamism or deflection of anger from autocratic regimes to the world's most convenient scapegoat, the Jews.

BURLINGTON, Vt. - A human smuggling operation based in Toronto and another in Montreal moved hundreds of immigrants into the U.S., with some paying $10,000 apiece, American prosecutors said Wednesday in announcing indictments against the groups.

Most of the illegal border crossings took place on foot in a stretch the U.S. Border Patrol considers a prime area for smuggling because of its proximity to highways.
