An Alfred Hitchcock documentary on the Nazi Holocaust
Alfred Hitchcock, in a whole other genre (well maybe not.) Remember when the film industry reflected our values? This is a tough one I went light on you last week.
A film the British Government deemed too grisly for release after World War II - has received its public debut on British television. Fifteen minutes of the black-and- white film, which was shot by the armed forces after the war.
Graphic but too freaking bad. The Nazis were inspired by Islamic Antisemitism. With the world bowing at the unwashed feet of Islam, our freedom, our way of life, free peoples are doomed. I ain't going .....
Islamic scholar Andrew Bostom reveals the evil history in his latest tome and in various papers: Negating the Legacy of Jihad in Palestine
More on the savage alliance here: The Nazi Connection to Islamic Terrorism: Adolf Hitler and Haj Amin al-Husseini
This terrible story of Haj Amin al-Husseini, who in many ways was as big a Nazi villain as Hitler, and to understand his influence on the Middle East is to understand the ongoing genocidal program against the Jews of Israel. Al-Husseini was a bridge figure in terms of transporting the Nazi genocide in Europe into the post-war Middle East.
As the leader of Arab Palestine during the British Mandate period, al-Husseini introduced violence against moderate Arabs as well as against Jews. Al-Husseini met with Adolf Eichmann in Palestine in 1937 and subsequently went on the Nazi payroll as a Nazi agent.
Al-Husseini played a pivotal behind-the-scenes role in instigating a pro-Nazi coup in Iraq in 1941, in urging Nazi’s and pro-Nazi governments in Europe to transport Jews to death camps, in training pro-Nazi Bosnian brigades, and in funneling Nazi loot into post-war Arab countries.
Whether you like the Jews or not, this much I'll tell you - they are coming after everyone. Jews are always first one in, fair game. So Bush, stop drinking the halal kool aid, man.
UPDATE: From the Wolf; A Priest Methodically Reveals Ukrainian Jews’ Fate
PARIS, Oct. 5 — His subjects were mostly children and teenagers at the time, terrified witnesses to mass slaughter. Some were forced to work at the bottom rung of the Nazi killing machine — as diggers of mass graves, cooks who fed Nazi soldiers and seamstresses who mended clothes stripped from the Jews before execution.
They live today in rural poverty, many without running water or heat, nearing the end of their lives. So Patrick Desbois has been quietly seeking them out, roaming the back roads and forgotten fields of Ukraine, hearing their stories and searching for the unmarked common graves. He knows that they are an unparalleled source to document the murder of the 1.5 million Jews of Ukraine, shot dead and buried throughout the country.
He is neither a historian nor an archaeologist, but a French Roman Catholic priest. And his most powerful tools are his matter-of-fact style — and his clerical collar.
The Nazis killed nearly 1.5 million Jews in Ukraine after their invasion of the Soviet Union in June 1941. But with few exceptions, most notably the 1941 slaughter of nearly 34,000 Jews in the Babi Yar ravine in Kiev, much of that history has gone untold.
Please read it all.

Dear Pamela;
Where is the movie?
Sincerely;
EJO

al-Husseini trained his great-nephew to take his place. He taught him to hate the Jews and the Americans who defeated his Nazi masters. His nephew grew up and changed his name from Husseini to Yasser Arafat. Arafat's real name was Mohammed Abdel Rahman Abdel Raouf Arafat al-Qudwa al-Husseini.

Looks like an "interesting" video. I'll check it out a little later.
That said, our great leader thinks Islam is a religion of peace.......Below is a preview of my Monday post at the Liberal Jackass Quotes of the Day:
“I believe in an Almighty God, and I believe that all the world, whether they be Muslim, Christian, or any other religion, prays to the same God. That's what I believe. I believe that Islam is a great religion that preaches peace...I believe we worship the same god” – GW Bush
**I’m not a Christian and I’m sure as hell not a Muslim (nor Jewish, Buddhist, Hindu or any other ‘recognized religion’), but I can tell you the followers of Mohammed do not believe in the same god, or gods, that I do.
Only a jackass Liberal could make such moronic moral equivalency statements, or continue to say Islam is a religion of peace. PIECE, yes (of crap), PEACE, no...Although he’s hardly a Leftist, Bush is also not a true Conservative, and I swear he’s mostly a Liberal-in-Conservative’s-clothing.**

Thank you for posting this important documentary.
Western leaders have obviously learned nothing from the Holocaust. They are whores who crawl into bed with Islamists - the very people who view Hitler as a hero, celebrate his successes, and deny the Holocaust.
It's a very grim future we are facing if positive leadership change doesn't occur quickly. We are running out of time as Islam becomes more entrenched in our institutions - thanks to the assistance of our leaders.
We need change - but that won't occur as long as the majority of us stay silent. It is apparent by the recent (sneaky) passing of the bill in Congress in favor of Islam, and the White House end of Ramadan celebrations, that the voices of the majority have not been heard. If we don't make our leaders hear us loud and clear - then we are doomed. It only takes a couple of minutes to write a protest e-mail. The more people who complain - the better our chances for survival.
Every single day throughout the world Christians, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists, agnostics, and apostates are killed in the name of Allah. These deaths will continue to increase unless we insist that our leaders do the right thing. The attacks on Infidels has reached North American shores (not just 9/11) - connect the dots - non-Muslims are fair game.
I urge everyone to follow Pam's example. Get out there and protest. If you can't do that write and then write some more. The clock is ticking - and not in our favor.

friends:
mr. ahmadinejad denies this happened. this fact alone, tells you all you will ever need to know about the motives and aims of this madman.
but to the film, and the proprietress of this blog who provides it for you.
where to begin?
over 40 years ago i started my inquiry into these camps, and the slaughter that took place there, as a political science and history major at whitman college. my focus of study was 20th century totalitarian government, including nazi germany, fascist italy, the soviet union and red china, plus the lesser ilk, such as the khmer rouge and pol phot, and the 19th and 20th century philosophy, political philosophy, literature and art, …, the thought that served as the condition precedent to the things depicted in this film.
and, i have read the literature of eminent jewish writers such as isaac bashevis singer, who describes the collaboration of the jewish community councils who directed the rounding up of jews from the ghettos to be shipped to the camps; to stories of the capo’s, jewish volunteer labor who directed the harvest of teeth, hair, jewelry, glass eyes, and other artifacts of the dead for sale; to accounts of the wealth, money, art and treasure of those consigned to the deaths you have witnessed in this film.
i have read histories by the score, including albert speer’s book on german mobilization of war production, including slave labor, and many books discussing the prototype camps built before the war started, before the round up of the jews began, to implement the most efficient ways to extract forced labor from the inmates, and to administer the camps, to kill using the poison gases, and to burn the bodies in the crematoria. the german thoroughness even went so far as to calculate the level of body fact to which the inmates would be starved before death to insure that the body fat of the corpses would not drop below a certain level, so that the residual fats would help burn the bodies and save on the consumption of coal for the ovens.
there is something you must know about these camps, and who the victims were, and who ran them.
jews were the predominant victims.
but, so were others.
many of you have never heard of a “scientific” discipline known as “eugenics,” or, for a more precise connotation, applied genetics. “mercy killing” is a kind of eugenics, as is abortion.
do you see where i am going with this? i will give you a hint. post world war ii germany has the lowest incident of mental illness of any country in western europe, if not the world. and, oddly enough, very few germans experienced depression after wwii, though they might have been expected to, and when germany was conquered, the mental institutions were empty.
the germans emptied the mentally ill, as well as the physically deformed and malformed and handicapped, the retarded, the developmentally disabled and crippled, gypsies, eastern europeans, homosexuals, and any other person or type of person who might have been considered undesirable at any level or by any level of bureaucrat into the camps. as in the russian gulag, political enemies and rivals of the rulers of the reich went into the camp.
these camps were not run and administered by ignorant or unschooled savages, nor were they independent of the academic and intellectual institutions are the core of german science and academia. this was not random chaos, or indiscriminate violence, … , these matters were not left to chance.
meticulous statistical records were kept regarding the administration of the camps. it had to be this way, because first and foremost the camps were an administrative way to extract wealth and labor from the inmates before they were killed, to maximize the profit derived from death. when the bodies were taken from the gas chambers, their hair was shorn, gold and silver fillings were removed from teeth, watches removed from the bodies, and the body cavities searched for jewelry, rings and other valuables.
horrible medical experiments were run on prisoners, including immersion in ice water to measure the amount of exposure to cold to kill. studies were done on twins, to discover things simply unimaginable. these studies were not run by ignorant thugs, but by highly trained and skilled medical doctors, working not outside the pale of respectable science, but directly for and under the supervision of german eugenics institutes and universities, and academic papers were submitted and reviewed at the institutes and universities.
in short, these camps were not isolated from the intellectual and moral fabric and structure of the reich, but were part and parcel of it. these camps were not aberrant features of an otherwise normal society, but were integrated into the industrial, economic, social and scientific fabric of the german state.
“respectable” people administered this slaughter, this degradation of human life on an unparallel scale.
we take comfort in the illusion that it was madness that ruled the logic of these camps, and that madmen ruled and ran them, and that somehow the germans found sufficient persons of deformed and malignant personality to run these camps.
nothing can be further from the truth. these camps were the product of disciplined rationality and logic applied to a hideous degree, unfathomable to the mind not exposed to the mental processes necessary to support the camps as institutions.
these things cannot be imagined. they are historical fact.
if you are waiting for an explanation as to how this happened, all i can tell you is that 41 years after my continuous study of this area began, i am no closer to understanding this than when i started. my reading, study, endless watching of film about wwii and these subject areas have not lent me any firm answers.
i do have opinions, however, which i will share with you very briefly.
bear with me for a moment, because this is not easy, and it may sound silly. for a fuller appreciation of what i am trying to say, and a far more developed and disciplined exegesis, i wholeheartedly recommend ayn rand’s “the romantic manifesto,” which explains the importance of an aesthetic, in her estimation found in artistic creation and experience, in which man can find example for the moral being he needs to aspire to be.
i believe that in the writings of the 19th century and the application of those writings in the two great political movements of the 20th century, communism and fascism, we have the destruction of those aesthetic, ethical, moral and religious values which western civilization developed during the enlightenment, and which came to full flower in the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. and this destruction left a moral, ethical and behavioral void with not only allowed by fostered the barbarism we see in the 20th century, and bedevils us to this day.
huh?
i am talking the creation of an ethical and religious tradition which imposed strict standards upon those moral and ethical standards, whose root was mostly in religious thought, but which was also given voice by philosophical and ethical discussion.
in short, i am talking about a religious and moral code which imposed constraints upon human behavior, and demanded adherence and obedience to those standards. and, as a corollary, societies which had sufficient belief in their moral and ethical codes to prohibit departure from them.
as a final proposition in all of this, i am talking about a system of values and beliefs that aspired to make man better, to reach beyond the merely violent, the expedient, which aspired to rise above evil.
sound silly? more is the pity.
because it is the intellectual current of the 20th century which destroyed adherence to those aspirations, and it is the abandonment of those aspirations and their replacement by modern standards of logic and reason using man as the measure of attainable behaviors, which created the moral vacuum allowing the holocaust, and the evils seen in this film tonight.
in short, it is the abandonment of religion, of morality, of ethics of discipline for the expediency unfettered “reason” which made these concentration camp scenes possible.
the people who conceived, designed, executive and implemented this horror had absolutely no moral and ethical constraints upon their belief systems, their morality, which prevented or inhibited the conceptualization of these camps.
and, moreover, they had been taught by the intellectuals of the 19th and 20th century to disdain, ridicule, and reject such constraints. they were authorized by the “intelligence” of the 19th and 20th century to disregard all such restraint, for they were taught that morality and ethics were false. and to be disregarded. and to be destroyed.
and the nazi’s and the soviets went about their tasks with an enthusiasm and a vengeance that left perhaps as many of 80 to 100 million war dead during the period from 1935 to 1945, perhaps as many as 120 million when counting the contribution of the japanese.
in short, and in sum, they were not constrained by morality, or any other external check upon human behavior, because they were taught and believed such constraints did not exist.
they did not believe in god. they did not believe in religion. they did not believe in morality and ethics. they were taught to try and destroy those things, and they damn near succeeded.
and, their successors and progeny, such as the terrorists of the 60’s and 70’s, took up the banner of immorality, and have continued to wreak death and destruction upon us.
one final note.
ayn rand did not, could not, bring herself to believe in god or religion. in the book previously described, she asserts that her value system liberates one from the illogic of those institutions. i believe she merely begs the question, because in the development of the aesthetic she describes, attained by engaging in the artistic process, she describes an aesthetic and ethical plane which shares in the fundamental good of existence, as i read her work.
fine, she calls it art. i call what she describes remarkably similar if not identical to the classical religious and philosophical formulations of god advanced by classic roman catholic and mainstream protestant theology, which is based upon the epistemology and metaphysic of the classical greek philosopher aristotle. you may or may not be surprised to know, that in the development of her artistic aesthetic, ms. rand is greatly indebted to and enamored of aristotle: i view this as no surprise, because ms. rand’s aesthetic is aristotle’s god. plain and simple.
in my opinion.
objectivists will no doubt decry me as a slim stripe above stupid, but that is the way i see it.
in short, why did the nazi’s prove so immune to any moral restraints on their behaviors, how could they indulge in this barbarism?
because they had no morals, they sought to destroy bourgeois moral beliefs, and because they were in fact barbarians. and they lived in, and ruled over a society which had insufficient morality to confront or deny them.
sound familiar? we live in a country in which “liberal” anti-war moralists bemoan the fact that american soldiers die needlessly in defense of others, yet defend on the basis of expediency the annual destruction of untold lives by abortion, in methods too sickening to discuss. i don’t care what you call it, but when a living creature is hacked to pieces in its mother’s womb, that is murder.
we tolerate it millions of times a year.
john jay
p.s. in case there is any doubt, this is why ahmadinejad and iran must be resisted to the death, as their “religion of death” makes them even more eminently qualified to subject the entirety of western society, obviously including israel, to the same “final solution” attempted by adolf hitler upon the jews, and upon anyone else who was perceived as enemy of the reich.

Pamela: One HELL of a movie. Everyone connected with any of these camps should have been summarily shot, but thousands got away scot free. As an aside, the world still does business with the Nazi enablers and suppliers, for the Bayer company (Bayer AG) made the infamous Zyklon-B poison gas that killed millions. Today they make aspirin. Hugo Boss, he of the multi-thousand-dollar suits and fashions today, got his start manufacturing German Army uniforms. BMW made aircraft engines that helped Germany bomb Europe and London. Porche designed and manufactured the infamous Tiger tank. And the list, like Germany, goes on and on, regardless.

I must say I was not able to watch the movie entirely, at one sitting- it was a very difficult movie to watch.
Reading some of the comments above makes me think of the shallowness of people, especially when presented with something as powerful as this movie.
One person says "looks like an 'interesting' movie"; is he for real?
He then goes on to make an asinine comment about how GWBush is a liberal in conservative clothing. This just shows how blinded some people are by the conservative propoganda, that he cant see the forest for the trees. Does he expect anyone to give his comment any credibility when they see how blindly he tries to defend the very people and the very government that have bled this country dry? Blame it all on the liberals, once you label someone as a liberal, you assume you are washed of any guilt. Does he even know what a liberal really is? I wish he would have taken time to read some of Ayn Rand's works, and then commented. Maybe we would have been spared the agony of having to read the anti-liberal propoganda in his comments.

I don't need any religion, john jay.
And I reject the idea that morality should be based on religious hypocrisy and lies.

Thanks all for posting this esply. Pam and John jay too. I learn so many things here. The details given by Jay are unbelievable. Its just not comprehensible that any creature of this mankind can go to that level in an organised 'trading'. It took me days to come out of it and comment. The current generation must be made aware of this . The psychologists may advice against this.Shows the wrong side of rationality and differences in perceived reasonableness's in different time zones. Very dangerous indeed. Is it worth any risk and 'corrections' of any kind. There are few things that has to be left to God. Is it one of that ?. How very difficult to answer ?.

Forgive me if I continue to follow the dirt road established by the comments of “John Jay” above (a nome de plume synonymous with one of our founding fathers), but it is critically important to address a few of the issues he outlines. The butchering insanity of the Nazi regime was NOT the product of the abolition of religion in the pursuit of a moral vacuum, it was substituting one brand of religion with another. Hitler himself was a lapsed Catholic, and infused his Nazi doctrine with paeans to Nordic gods and bloodrights and the supposed spiritual underpinnings that all citizens of Nazi Germany inherited from them. In short, he simply established a state religion in place of the traditional religious structure. After all, what is the unwavering, unalterable, inescapable will of a single entity that one cannot argue with, disagree with, or escape, other then the establishment of a religion? I agree with John Jay’s assertion that the abandonment of moral principles had its most horrifying manifestation in Nazi Germany, but to suggest for one moment that religion is an answer to or escape from this is wildly, dangerously off the mark. Religion equals the abandonment of logic and reason, and I would posit that infinitely more millions of people have been butchered in the name of fidelity to one’s imaginary celestial father or mother then the Nazis could have ever perpetrated if the Reich had indeed lasted its “thousand years.”
The insanity that grips Islam at the moment has its genesis in many parts, not least the fact that it’s a religion still relatively in its youth, and as such it’s followers feel inordinately entitled to proselytize its nonsense at the tip of a sword… or bomb. If the world manages to survive Islam’s adolescence, we may find that it develops its own brand of moderating reformation, and in the meanwhile, I am wholeheartedly in agreement that Islam’s celebration of Stone Age thinking, abiding misogyny, and unshakable fidelity to moral expediency should be decried from every available rooftop.
That said, the general problem exists more generally in organized religion as a concept than any particular lunatic articulation of it. When we pillory Islam and then calmly file into our own houses of worship--secure in the knowledge that those who believe in imaginary friends other than our own are destined to boil in a lake of excrement for all eternity--I would suggest that Islam is simply the crudest expression of the same absurdity and hypocrisy.
As far as John Jay’s assertion that abortion is some sort of parallel to the Holocaust is concerned, I suppose I could counter, in part, by asking him to imagine a world in which women who have been raped – in many instances by family members – would get to reside inside jail cells, while the perpetrators of the rapes would most likely remain at large. He could further imagine a world in which these women would be forced to give birth and care for their (most likely sickly and damaged) children, and thus sentenced to a lifetime of misery through no fault of their own. I recognize that abortion also exists in realms wholly different from this, and that it is a wildly complicated subject, but let’s not suggest for one moment that its abolition wouldn’t, in part, be substituting one brand of misery for another, never mind the establishment of a government that denies women control over their own physical beings. I thought it was a cheap coda to an otherwise very thoughtful and well-crafted letter, and I encourage “Mr. Jay” to give it further consideration.
