Radicals Smear Young Conservatives
Hoax poster roils GWU campus Washington Times
YAF thinks it was leftist radicals that put those disgusting sings up. My money is on CAIR. Same difference. Jason Mattera sent this one to me ..... this is what we are up against. The most vile. Ridicule, discredit, smear - the tactics of the fascists.
STATEMENT FROM YOUNG AMERICA’S FOUNDATION
Leftist administrators at The George Washington University are on a rampage against a conservative group on campus for anti-Muslim fliers posted that the group had nothing to do with. Young America’s Foundation chapter at GWU did not disseminate fliers that read “Hate Muslims? So Do We!!” even though the fliers purported to have the group’s moniker at the bottom. The flier went on to advertise an actual event on radical Islam that the group is sponsoring the end of October.
It’s obvious to anyone with a moment’s reflection that such fliers were created to fake an incident of hate where none exists, rather than contribute to a robust discussion regarding the threat of radical Islam. The bottom of the flier, for instance, spitefully reads “Brought to you by Students for Conservativo-Fascism Awareness.” And as if that weren’t enough to tip off University officials that the flier was created with malicious intent, the very last line stating “PS Seriously, do a google video search for ‘The Power of Nightmares’ ” should have ended any doubts. If you’re unaware, “The Power of Nightmares” argues that the threat of radical Islam worldwide is in fact a myth perpetrated by politicians in America who have been hoodwinked by neoconservatives.
GWU officials have glossed over the fact that someone on campus misrepresented a school-sanctioned club. Instead, the school is cuddling up with the local Islamic groups to denounce the drummed up incident of hate and force the Young America’s Foundation chapter to sign a statement condemning hate speech. Bridgette Behling, the assistant director of the Student Activities Center at GWU, wrote an email to one of the conservative students urging them to disavow hate speech that may originate from any future Foundation events: “due to the inflammatory nature of today’s events [falsified posters], as a good faith effort on behalf of YAF, it is important that YAF drafts a statement which states that you will not allow hate speech to be a part of any of YAF’s events, literature, written or verbal communication planned for Islamofacism Week. This statement should also include your plan for preventing these things from happening as well as the consequences for these things happening. It is important that we have this document should any further incidents occur as we move forward.”
GWU’s ire is being directed in the wrong place. The University’s should be protecting the reputation of its students who were wrongfully maligned, rather than rewarding campus radicals who are always looking to suppress or distort conservative activism.
The Left is notorious for self-inflicting themselves with incidents of “hate” and then turning around to attribute such incidents on alleged intolerance. At San Francisco State, two black students scribbled racial epithets in their own dormitories and then claimed “white racists” did it. At Boise State University, a homosexual student beat himself up, but told the police he was assaulted because he’s sexually fond of other men. A visiting professor at Claremont McKenna College spray painted her car with ethnic slurs in addition to slashing her tires and busting her windshield and then attributed the episode to campus racists.
Accusations of hate speech make great headlines for newspapers, even if those accusations turn out to be wrong—or even worse—contrived. Such is the case at The George Washington University.
UPDATE: Why the leftard sophomoric hoax?
During Islamo-Fascist Awareness Week, Gor said, the GW group will sponsor a speech by conservative author David Horowitz, sponsor a campus petition condemning terrorism, show the ABC miniseries "The Path to 9/11," and also host a panel discussion that will include "Muslim women who escaped persecution in Islamic countries. . . . Women who got flogged for wearing nail polish in Iran."
UPDATE: IslamOnline tries to stir up Islamic world over Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week
"It shows how desperate they become to try to silence debate on campus"

Well, they found out who it was... none other than Adam Kokesh: http://media.www.gwhatchet.com/media/storage/paper332/news/2007/10/08/News/Seven.Gw.Students.Admit.To.Hanging.Controversial.Posters-3022092.shtml

This reminds me of the time I got fed up with NYC Mayor Bloomberg's anti-smoking laws. As a resident of New York City my office building was one of the first to ban smoking throughout the building. Groups of fellow smokers and myself would congregate in the Fire exit stairway/airshaft for an occasional cigarette and were sometimes shooed away by the building manager. One day I made up a rather "official-looking" sign that read "Smoking Permitted Only in Stairwell" and provided links to actual NYC gov't websites "for more info". Anyone with access to a computer and a little imagination can produce a sign and (in the case of G.W.U.) an "official - appearing" poster.

Why do people keep calling me a leftist?!? Well, I’m as mad as hell! And I’m not going to take this anymore! Just to make things perfectly clear, if I was not a board member of IVAW, I would be doing everything in my power to ensure that Ron Paul is our next President. I am a card-carrying lifetime member of the Libertarian Party. That’s right: with a big L.

also from kokesh.blogspot.com:
"Sergeant Kokesh Goes to Washington" and more on "Sgt Kokesh"
Adam Kokesh was busted to Corporal and kicked out of the Marines for illegally bringing back a pistol he bought in Iraq. Now I know that troops before they come back from the sandboxes are briefed and they sign statements that they are briefed before they ship back.
Secondly, Mr. Kokesh is in the Individual Ready Reserve until June of next year. A Marine panel lowered his discharge from honorable to a general discharge under honorable conditions. If his discharge had been lowered any further he would have had to pay back the government all the VA benefits he received.
As of June 7 of this year, Kokesh's appeal against the lowering of his discharge was denied.
This guy likes to put up "Sergeant" on his blog. I emailed him to let him know that since he was busted, the "highest rank held" clause doesn't count.
He's a crybaby loser.

As for "Sergeant" Kokesh's denying he's a leftist, there's pics of him buddying up to massive moonbat Cindy Sheehan. At the same time he claims he's not a Leftist.
Sounds like this little short-dicked ex-Marine crybaby is a narcissist.

Another email address of Adam Kokesh is
adamivaw at gmail dot com
Kokesh has emailed me back claiming he's a Libertarian and I replied that how could he be a Libertarian when gladly associates with the likes of Cindy Sheehan.
I also notice he has his name as "adam kokesh" and he doesn't capitalize his name. That speaks volumes to me.
