Just the Facts, Please

The Center of Vigilant Freedom has an excellent post on the scurrilous accusations hurled at those fighting for Europe's very survival. Please read the whole thing here. Now that is what I call research. I ask that you read the whole thing.

Dewinter in his latest interview said;

....it is very easy for our opponents who want a multicultural and left wing policies over here to put us in the same bag. They have always tried to do that. It is always us to to make a lot of distant between [these groups]...... Because always the left wing is treating us a neo fascist and so on. But is there a risk? Of course there is. We should be careful about it We should be very vigilant about it. Don't put eveybody in the same bag. But those groups like Vlaams Belang and others  who are courageous. Who are fighting against islamisation . Who are fighting against immigration invasion and those groups who are succeesful like Vlaams Belang......Don't treat us as Neo Nazis or neo fascists just because we are conservatives, just because we are right wing. Just because we stand up for our identity and for our moral values and for our way of life......Don't do that because it would be completely wrong.

I quite agree.

Vlaams Belang is not an anti Semitic party neither a Nazi party. Dewinter's own father was, as a medicine student, deported to Nazi Germany to perform forced labour. His grandfather was a member of the resistance. VB's opinions concerning Israel, revisionism, anti Semitism, etc… are well known and have been published in a range of articles and interviews.  They consider Israel a front post of the free West in Islam occupied territory. Dewinter has said Jews and Israeli are our allies in the battle against Islamisation. They stand in the front lines of the battle.

The diabolising of all who criticize and turn against multiculturalism and all who consider the Islamic immigration as a Trojan horse, is proven technique, that certainly in Europe, is successful.

It has never been easy to stand up for ones opinion. Oriana Falacci, Pim Fortuyn a.o. are examples of journalists and politicians who dared to speak up what many were thinking.

Remember this quote from Barry Goldwater: “Extremism in the defence of liberty is no vice. Moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue”.

Sorry Pam Charles has the goods on them and he's one hundred percent right. There is no way the American public is going to support an anti-jihad movement with the taint of racism.

If Israel is going to schmooze up to the PLO and Yassir Arafat, who are comitted to Israel's destruction, I don't see much problem in meeting someone who wants to be friends now instead of an enemy.

And Charles has the "goods" on me with an utter ad hominem attack. I mentioned Rabbi Kahane, Zt"l favorably and his "logical" refutation was UUGH.

I don't know if I'm banned by LGF now, but it doesn't really matter since I won't post there anymore. If I want viciousness and snarkiness, I'll go to one of the pan Arab Libertarian sites. At least when they call me a f...er (read without the ellipses) and an @$$hole, I expect them to do it and I really don't defend them. It was quite different with LGF.
