Spitting on Marines

It's enough to make your skin crawl. Atlas readers in the Oakland area - write your congressman now.  These pigs aren't fit to wipe the boots of those Marines. These enemies of America really ought to go live in the Islamic country of their choice. I'll contribute whatever I can to such a fund. They are destroying America.

Not only should Marines and all great Americans in uniform be given the highest respect and regard, they ought to get priority treatment. The kind of treatment men like Bert Brady insure they get.

Here is an e-mail from a Marine chaplain recently returned from Iraq. The story speaks for itself—lousy treatment of our troops at our own airports. He writes about Oakland, and while checking around I find that this is a common experience. I hope that one of our leaders will find a way to put an end to such behavior.

Mistreatment of soldiers is a disgrace. Leftist cowards will be the first ones to beg for the presence of soldiers when things start to get bad in North America. My husband saw a terrific bumper sticker the other day:

If you aren't prepared to stand behind our soldiers then stand in front of them.

Pamela, sad to say writing the CongressScum that represents Oakland is a waste of time. Her name is Barbara Lee - she replaced Ron "Red" Dellums (who is now days the Mayor of Oakland). Ms. Lee was on Dellum's staff when he was cozying up to Daniel Ortega and Maurice Bishop back in the 80s - a died in the wool Commie stooge. Ms. Lee is one of the CongressScum that refuses to stand for the Pledge of Allegiance when it is recited on the floor of the House. I could go on, but you get the drift.

Better would be to write to any of the Congress that is on the Transportation Committee - maybe they can put a bit of pressure on the Airport Commission. Also dropping a note to the Sec. of Transportation would not hurt either. Hit those idiots that run Oakland Airport where it hurts: in the pocketbook.
