G-d bless Peregrine John  for this extraordinary tribute. The auteur of  this striking 9/11 tribute was inspired by Atlas visuals. "Thank you for giving me the clues to the 2 or 3 most pivotal and important images for my Agnus Dei: A 9/11 Reflection.  It's the one that most perfectly sums up why we must remember." I am deeply honored to have been a part of so noble an effort no matter how small my contribution.

May G-d grant this great nation the strength to find its way to face our mortal enemy.

I live in a city where the person sitting next to me on the bus turns to me and says,  "what do you think? Worried about tomorrow [9/11] ?"  No explanation necessary.  "No" I say, "Too obvious. Bin Laden releasing his videos is a form of terror attack."

Six years later ........CIA Director Says Al Qaida Has 'High-Impact' Terror Attacks Planned in U.S.

In a rare public address Friday in New York, CIA Director Gen. Michael Hayden warned of new attacks by al-Qaida. "Our analysts assess with high confidence that al-Qaida's central leadership is planning high-impact plots against the U.S. homeland," he said.

Speechless but for one thought. Oliver Stone used the same composition - Samuel Barber's Adagio for Strings - to great effect in his anti-war film, Platoon.

Agnus Dei returns Barber's Adagio to its rightful place in the post-9/11 culture war. Very very well done, sir.

As ever, it is such an invaluable service being performed here and especially for those who need to be exposed to the Atlas Shrugs POV most: all these pitifully unhappy slaves of Islam who never will be made to see the light by any means other than just as it is shone here without a shade of dhimmitude straight through the veil into the eyes.

And of course, the same thing goes for me, as for those poor devils or anyone else. You've got to face the truth, that no one will appreciate the power of these images from six years ago to this day more than those who made them possible in the first place, namely Bin Laden and the millions of Moslems who see in all this smoke, fire and death the truest spirit of Islam.

But now, as longer more complete clips of the latest Al Qaeda video release begin to show up on the internet, I find it, to my endless chagrin harder and harder to hold to my earlier impression that the tape is a fake. And much as I would wish it to be so, that bin Laden has long been taken, body and soul into that aforementioned "spirit of Islam", unfortunately, my own faith demands of me to face the truth even against my strongest or fondest beliefs, and all the more especially when I don't like it, and am personally bound to be made the fool for it.

Indeed, if it really is that fiend bin laden on the new tape, just it would appear, it can only leave one little less than certain that we are soon to see it proven true by terror on so grand a scale as once again to have been quite beyond our capacity ever to imagine or foresee it. But this is only as can be the case when it comes to the immensity of potential for a power of evil in this world, as millions more men learn to take Death on as a friend, as an ally and a god. It is just as they are forced to say of him in all the smoke and flame of his infernal majesty . . .

Nothing is the same that is true - monsters have emerged from within. The deniers of 9/11 are now considered worthy of attention. Cowards and propagandists have become icons. The will to fight has been sapped by those who are consumed with hatred for our President and his decision to defend this nation. The actions of Michael Moore, the major media and major candidates of the Democratic party have shown their contempt for this country. Yes, nothing is the same - and I would be shocked if any news outlets show any video of the attacks because of the "trauma" it might cause.

For those of us here in NYC that day, the images are seared permanently into our minds.

I don't know if I have the right words to say, but I will never ever ever forget what our fellow Americans had to go through at the hands of savage Islamic murdering maniacs. Their last moments, their last thoughts of their loved ones. The last thoughts of their own lives. And for those who had to helplessly watch the brutal and evil murder of their family members trapped in the planes and towers, I stand with you now and forever.

A Proposed Constitutional Amendment
Background and justification to Amendment 28

Whereas Religion is defined as an institution dedicated to improving social conscience and promoting individual and societal spiritual growth in a way that is harmless to others not participating in or practicing the same;

Whereas the United States of America was founded on the ideals of individual rights, including the individual right to practice one’s religion of choice, or no religion, and that there would be no compulsion of religion, nor state sanctioned religion, nor a “religious test” for participation in the body politic;

Whereas Islam includes a complete political and social structure, encompassed by its religious law, Sharia, that supersedes any civil law and that Islam mandates that no secular or democratic institutions are to be superior to Islamic law;

Whereas Islam preaches that it and it alone is the true religion and that Islam will dominate the world and supplant all other religions and democratic institutions;

Whereas Saudi Arabia, the spiritual home of Islam does not permit the practice of any other religion on its soil and even “moderate” Muslims states such as Turkey and Malaysia actively suppress other religions;

Whereas Islam includes as its basic tenet the spread of the faith by any and all means necessary, including violent conquest of non-believers, and demands of its followers that they implement violent jihad (holy war) against those un-willing to convert or submit to Islam, including by deception and subversion of existing institutions;

Whereas on 9/11/2001 19 Muslim hijackers acting in the name of Islam killed 3,000 Americans, and numerous other acts of terrorism have been directed at the American people around the world;

Whereas representatives of Islam around the world including Osama Bin Laden (architect of 9/11), the government of Iran including Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, HAMAS, Hezbollah, and other Islamic groups have declared jihad (war) on America, and regularly declare that America should cease to exist;

Whereas there is no organized Islamic opposition to violent proponents of Islam;

Therefore: Islam is not a religion, but a political ideology more akin to Fascism and totally in opposition to the ideals of freedom as described in the United States Constitution, especially the Bill of Rights.

Be it resolved that the following Amendment to the Constitution be adopted:

Article I

The social/political/ideological system known around the world as Islam is not recognized in the United States as a religion.

The practice of Islam is therefore not protected under the 1st Amendment as to freedom of religion and speech.

Article II

As representatives of Islam around the world have declared war, and committed acts of war, against the United States and its democratic allies around the world, Islam is hereby declared an enemy of the United States and its practice within the United States is now prohibited.

Article III

Immediately upon passage of this Amendment all Mosques, schools and Muslim places of worship and religious training are to be closed, converted to other uses, or destroyed. Proceeds from sales of such properties may be distributed to congregations of said places but full disclosure of all proceeds shall be made to an appropriate agency as determined by Congress. No compensation is to be offered by Federal or State agencies for losses on such properties however Federal funding is to be available for the demolishing of said structures if other disposition cannot be made.

The preaching of Islam in Mosques, Schools, and other venues is prohibited. The subject of Islam may be taught in a post high school academic environment provided that instruction include discussion of Islam’s history of violence, conquest, and its ongoing war on democratic and other non-Islamic values.

The preaching or advocating of Islamic ideals of world domination, destruction of America and democratic institutions, jihad against Judaism, Christianity and other religions, and advocating the implementation of Sharia law shall in all cases be punishable by fines, imprisonment, deportation, and death as prescribed by Congress. Violent expressions of these and other Muslim goals, or the material support of those both in the United States and around the world who seek to advance these Islamic goals shall be punishable by death.

Muslims will be denied the opportunity to immigrate to the United States.

Article IV

Nothing in this amendment shall be construed as authorizing the discrimination against, of violence upon, nor repudiation of the individual rights of those Americans professing to be Muslim. The individual right of conscience is sacrosanct and the practice of Islam within the privacy of home and self is strictly protected to the extent that such individuals do not violate the prohibitions described in Article III.

With some slight reservation I am moved to agree, thinking that such a course as this would do more, as warfare, than all the "surges" that could be brought to the fore in Iraq or elsewhere.

Listening to these latest tapes from bin Laden, if one thing is made plain it is the evil genius of his aims, and the success of them, as he stands there looking like some long, tall daddy-long-legs of a spider saying, "Welcome to my web, you pitiful fool." He says, "Look how you have fallen into my clutches, dummies that you are, wasting your blood, your fortune, your lives, making ruin of your economy, all according to my plan. And there you are "staying the course", very bravely, as you may think, but what you don't know is that this course of death and war and blood and loss is MY course and none of yours.

So long as we go on in the damned foolishness to think that it is our national pride and honor at stake, and all the reason for remaining in flames and smoke at that stake, we follow after the doctrines of the mad macho morality of Mohammad and his Islam. We remain as Osama's tools and his prime fools. He has set the game and in Iraq we play according to his rules, on his ground.

It makes him feel very proud, victorious and 'honorable'.

Six years ago today, I watched several friends die. Some were casual friends from college and grad school. Some were family friends. Two were in my wedding party.

Six years ago today, my wife and I were sudden babysitters of several children whose parents could not get out of their Manhattan workplaces.

Six years ago today, my mother - a survivor of the London airblitz - explained to my panicky wife that everyone has to develop "an everyday sort of courage."

Six years ago today, my world changed. I changed. I developed a quiet anger. And I'm still angry.
