Another absolutely disgusting example of pre-emptive dhimmitude, in the name of tolerance and multiculturalism, right here in the US: First Jell-O, now Santa.

So long, Halloween parade. Farewell, Santa’s gift shop.

The holiday traditions are facing elimination in some Oak Lawn schools this year after complaints that the activities are offensive, particularly to Muslim students.

Final decisions on which of the festivities will be axed will fall to the principals at each of Ridgeland School District 122’s five schools, Supt. Tom Smyth said.

Parents expect that the announcement is going to add to the tension that has been building since officials agreed earlier this month to change the lunch menu to exclude items containing pork to accommodate Muslim students. News that Jell-O was struck from the menu caused such a stir that officials have agreed to bring it back. Gelatin is often made with tissue or bones of pigs or other animals.

That controversy now appears to have been been dwarfed by the holiday debate, which became so acrimonious Wednesday that police were called to Columbus Manor School to intervene in a shouting match among parents.

“It’s difficult when you change the school’s culture,” said Columbus Manor Principal Sandy Robertson.

If some Moslem in the school district demanded they not serve Jello, and they agreed, that'd be an "outrage". This is the next step beyond - like when the Germans canceled that opera for fear of offending Moslems who hadn't said a word about it and later said the capitulation was unnecessary and stupid. imho It's the preparations for defeat and servitude, in advance of even being defeated and yet in full expectation of being collared, that so make me want to take a hot shower and cleanse myself of this multicultural filth.

What'd I'd do is send my kid's lunch to school in a lunchbox, full of jello and little debbie snack cakes decorated as halloween witches and xmas trees.

So I guess the jello Santa Claus competition is out this year? Maybe they could have a jello Allamajinadada contest instead. That could double for Hallowe'en AND Christmas.
Imagine them tastefully lit on lawns throughout the area that this idiocy is being allowed to occur.

The school board held a meeting tonight and it just got out. Lots of outraged locals showed up with calm, well reasoned arguments. The woman who instigated this whole thing showed up with a lawyer I've seen before defending outraged Muslims in TV appearances. I'd like to find out who she is. I think there's more to this than just one Arab Mom wanting her kids holidays represented. I think she's the front for a concerted effort by the local Egyptian Brotherhood backed mosque.

What people need to realize is that Halloween and Christmans had already been changed to 'Fall' and 'Holiday' festivals. What they want now is to ELIMINATE even the 'fall' and 'winter' festivals because it's an obvious euphamism for Christmas and Halloween. So, they want to ban even the 'Fall' and 'Winter' festivals and have the school acknowledge Ramadan.
