Bin Laden says President Bush's words echo "neoconservatives like Cheney, Rumsfeld, and Richard Perle."
"People of America: the world is following your news in regards to your invasion of Iraq, for people have recently come to know that, after several years of tragedies of this war, the vast majority of you want it stopped. Thus, you elected the Democratic Party for this purpose, but the Democrats haven't made a move worth mentioning. On the contrary, they continue to agree to the spending of tens of billions to continue the killing and war there."
Bin Laden says there are two ways to
end the war:
"The first is from our side, and it is to continue to escalate the
killing and fighting against you."
The second is to do away with the American democratic system of
government. "It has now become clear to you and the entire world the
impotence of the democratic system and how it plays with the
interests of the peoples and their blood by sacrificing soldiers and
populations to achieve the interests of the major corporations."
New Usama Bin Laden Video Urges Americans to Convert to Islam FOX news
CAIRO, Egypt — Usama bin Laden appeared for the first time in three years in a videotape Friday released ahead of the 6th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks, telling Americans they should convert to Islam if they want the war in Iraq to end, according to a transcript obtained by FOX News.
The videotape, which runs about 30 minutes long, appeared to have been recently made, since bin Laden refers to the Democratic victory in Congress and to French President Nicolas Sarkozy, who was elected in May.
Islamazis the world over were chomping at the bit so much so: Militant Islamic Web sites shut down worldwide. It is painfully apparent Bin Laden wants us out of Iraq, he speaks of it incessantly - we are obviously killing al qaeda there, we are hurting him there and he wishes to exploit the fissures in the American body politic. This nuclear threat is not coming out of thin air; Bin laden brings up nukes in this speech:Bin Laden comes close to offering a date for the tape with this by saying, "... just a few days ago, the Japanese observed the 62nd anniversary of the annihilation of Hiroshima and Nagasaki by your nuclear weapons." The anniversary was on August 6.
I DON'T THINK HE BRINGS UP HIROSHIMA TO PROVE WHEN HE MADE THE TAPE. I THINK IT'S A NUCLEAR THREAT.
Also in the most recent tape, Osama once again offers us a chance to convert. IN FACT, HIS SPEECH ENDS WITH THIS OFFER:According to many, these are requisite steps for him to take BEFORE nuking us. EXCERPT:"To conclude," bin Laden says, "I invite you to embrace Islam."
