We may pretend it's a couple of crazies but the bottom line is Islamists stay on point, follow their objectives and are intent on achieving their goal.Installation of worldwide caliphate. The invitation to convert to Islam is mandated in Koran. Invite the enemy to convert before you attack.

September 11th is a day of celebration for Islam and  Bin Laden mocking sounds eerily like the Democrat party platform. Invoking Chomsky and Scheuer,  leftists icon all.

The Bin Laden sounds like a candidate for the Democrat presidential ticket.

Bin Laden says President Bush's words echo "neoconservatives like Cheney, Rumsfeld, and Richard Perle."

"People of America: the world is following your news in regards to your invasion of Iraq, for people have recently come to know that, after several years of tragedies of this war, the vast majority of you want it stopped. Thus, you elected the Democratic Party for this purpose, but the Democrats haven't made a move worth mentioning. On the contrary, they continue to agree to the spending of tens of billions to continue the killing and war there."

Bin Laden says there are two ways to end the war: "The first is from our side, and it is to continue to escalate the killing and fighting against you." The second is to do away with the American democratic system of government. "It has now become clear to you and the entire world the impotence of the democratic system and how it plays with the interests of the peoples and their blood by sacrificing soldiers and populations to achieve the interests of the major corporations."

New Usama Bin Laden Video Urges Americans to Convert to Islam FOX news

CAIRO, Egypt — Usama bin Laden appeared for the first time in three years in a videotape Friday released ahead of the 6th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks, telling Americans they should convert to Islam if they want the war in Iraq to end, according to a transcript obtained by FOX News.

The videotape, which runs about 30 minutes long, appeared to have been recently made, since bin Laden refers to the Democratic victory in Congress and to French President Nicolas Sarkozy, who was elected in May. 

Islamazis the world over were chomping at the bit so much so:  Militant Islamic Web sites shut down worldwide.

It is painfully apparent Bin Laden wants us out of Iraq, he speaks of it incessantly - we are obviously killing al qaeda there, we are hurting him there and he wishes to exploit the fissures in the American body politic. Shame on the defeatocrats. They handed this country over to our enemy.

This nuclear threat is not coming out of thin air; Bin laden brings up nukes in this speech:

Bin Laden comes close to offering a date for the tape with this by saying, "... just a few days ago, the Japanese observed the 62nd anniversary of the annihilation of Hiroshima and Nagasaki by your nuclear weapons." The anniversary was on August 6.

I DON'T THINK HE BRINGS UP HIROSHIMA TO PROVE WHEN HE MADE THE TAPE. I THINK IT'S A NUCLEAR THREAT.

Also in the most recent tape, Osama once again offers us a chance to convert. IN FACT, HIS SPEECH ENDS WITH THIS OFFER:

"To conclude," bin Laden says, "I invite you to embrace Islam."

Well, I'm not writing what I planned to write since Timur's comment is basically the same, yet so much more colorful! Timur, I'm grateful.

So, instead, I'm content to say instead of us embracing islam, I vote we just erase it. That's my democratic vote. Neener neener, osama, 'ya puke.

X_dhimmi, thanks. Maybe Osama dyed his beard so that young Moslem men would find him more attractive? In accordance with what Mohammed taught, it should be dyed red with henna, not black if he is a religious man. So I can only assume that Bin Laden is cruising for young guys. If the Moslems do nuke us I hope to hell that we quit f*cking around and nuke Mecca and Medina. That will be the excuse we need......

A few questions . . .

1. Would a super-macho Moslem puritan do like some vain, Islamically detested sissy and dye the hairs of his beard?

2. In the interest of not raising doubts about fakery, wouldn't he at least have changed the color of that smock since the last video?

3. And why are all the production values basically the same as to wardrobe, backdrop, height and position of the lectern?

4. Finally, with contemporary state of the art digital video morphing technique, how hard would it be to close and button that smock, brighten the shirt, shorten the beard, fatten the face?

With the focus made so soft as it is in the new tape, how could any 'expert' tell whether the audio does or does not synch with the video? And as to the audio, note the particularly tinny quality in contrast to the high fidelity of the previous one.

Most particularly in terms of the second consideration, as credibility has to be of supreme importance, I cannot doubt but that Osama would have changed his shirt, and seeing how bright and white this 'new' one is, you might easily surmise that he has not been sleeping in it these past three years--not above ground of the Tora Bora at any rate.

I still say Osama bin Laden has long since gone to be with his affectionately dreamed 72 virgins, in that Islamic vision of paradise, Mohammed's big breasted, widescreen Bangkok seraglio, in the couch of a crescent in the Sky.

He should have changed that gold lemay coat, or for so long as he was dressed for it, given us at least his best impression of Don Ho singing "Tiny Bubbles" .

Mack the Nice...well, the problem is that its sort of traditional for Muslim men to color their beards. Also, it is the opinion of some real experts that it was intended to attract younger jihadists, and he's alive. So, where does that leave y'all?

But, after the real experts have spoken what is left for anyone to say, to think, to do, to walk, to shit, to skip, to hop, to sleep, perchance to dream?

It's a fake. Bin Laden is dead. But as he lives on in the reality spurning heart of a hot human lust for vengeance (on either side) he remains as the Undead, as an evil idol fully alive unto the hatred or love of those who must have such things.

So now the threat of him is immortal, more vital than ever and there will be no abatement of the mayhem to be done by him so long as all these (ha-ha!) 'real experts' do strive to perpetuate the myth, all the undocumented hearsay and unsupported scuttlebutt necessary to keep him alive, if only as virtual reality on digital tape.

There arises notwithstanding a creepy sense of foreboding with the release of this most recent video, which is all the more intensified by the blasé, bored, apathetic attitude of the press concerning it. And that has served often enough in history as such a perfect 'reverse barometer' for disaster.
