The British Medical Journal, a major medical journal of great repute is conducting a poll regarding whether there should be an academic boycott of the State of israel. In a recent issue, and on their official website, this is being openly debated. It is important that all physicians and healthcare workers especially, but the general public is invited to vote as well, respond asap to this simple one minute poll. It is outrageous to even consider a boycott of academics who happen to live in a Western democracy under constant existential threat, including suicide bombers, and especially since theState of Israel's hundreds of thousands of academics (Jewish, Moslem, Christian, etc) are being singled out for boycott whereas no other group is singled out in any way. This is pure and simple anti-Semitism and the fact that this journal is even entertaining the question is to its eternal shame.

As a Jewish Physician I am absolutely disgusted and repulsed by the unmitagated gall and chutzpah of the BMJ (British Medical Journal) editors asking its readership whether or not the BMJ should support a boycott of Israel's academicians. England, like the rest of western europe, is infected with anti-Semitism - the likes of which has never been as manifested as openly or virulently as at present. We must not remain silent re: Britain's calumny against Israel and Jews. Unfortunately, the virus of anti-Semitism is not limited to transplanted or native born Muslims in Britain. Many Brits, are all to willing and eager, to vilify Jews and Israel - as their nation is being Islamicized.
