ISLAMIC TERROR PLOT FORT DIX

Every news article identifies the terrorists as former Yugoslavian nationals. The former Yugoslavia? Are they kidding? Can you say Kosovo? Bosnia? Bill Clinton? We want names.

Six arrested in plot to attack NJ army base 
Geoff Mulvihill, AP. MOUNT LAUREL, NJ - Six nationals of the former Yugoslavia have been arrested on charges they plotted to attack the Fort Dix army base and “kill as many soldiers as possible,” US federal authorities said Tuesday.

The men were arrested while trying to buy automatic weapons in a sale set-up by law enforcement authorities, the official said. Authorities believe the men trained for the attack in the Pocono, N.J., and allegedly conducted surveillance at other area military institutions, the official said.

The official said that the men had lived in the United States for some time and were arrested as part of a joint federal and local investigation.

CBS EMPHATICALLY states it's not terror here:

At the time of the arrests, the plot was in the planning stages and no attack was imminent, CBS News has learned. Officials said this is more of a "homegrown" plot with no ties to al Qaeda or any other international terrorist organization, CBS News reports.

No rush to judgment here. If it was Islamic was it terror?

AP describes Yugoslavia this way;

Fort Dix is used to train soldiers, particularly reservists. In 1999, it sheltered more than 4,000 ethnic Albanian refugees during the NATO bombing campaign against Yugoslavia. After that war, refugees were allowed to return to the U.N.-run province of Kosovo in Serbia or to seek permanent residency in the United States. The U.N. Security Council is considering whether to approve a plan to grant Kosovo independence from Serbia under the supervision of the European Union and the United States.

That' s the jihad loving media's take.

..... but it is a fate that actually befell the Serbian people, who this year may lose Kosovo as the deadline approaches for determining the status of the province, where Christian churches, monasteries and homes were burned to the ground in pogroms in March of last year. UPDATE: Three of the Islamic terrorists were illegal aliens. In addition, the Islamic radicals  were conducting surveillance on Dover Air Force base in Delaware, the Coast Guard in Philadelphia,  and other military installations.

They were conducting surveillance for over a year and a half.

UPDATE: White House spokesman Tony Snow said there is "no direct evidence" that the men arrested in the Fort Dix plot have ties to international terrorism. Hey Tony, the jihad is global.

"They are not charged with being members of an international terrorism organization," Snow said. "At least at this point, there is no evidence that they received direction from international terror organizations. However, their involvement in weapons training, operational surveillance and discussions about killing American military personnel warranted a strong law enforcement response."

Asked if those arrested had any ties to al-Qaeda, Snow referred questions to the FBI and the U.S. attorney, but said those officials "seem to indicate that there is no direct evidence of a foreign terrorist tie."

Look, the enemy is not just al qaeda. That is one Islamic terror group. The enemy is Islamism and it is global in nature. Why won't they be straight wit h the American people?

UPDATE: This plot was uncovered by an individual. Not FBI, not CIA - a concerned American who   became suspicious of the surveillance behavior of the terrorists and reported them to the authorities. The same kind of individual that CAIR is suing for alerting the authorities to the suspicious behavior of the six aggressive Imams on that US Airways flight.

Fort Dix is in the process of base closure, most duties to be taken over at Aberdeen and Ft Meade (both in MD).

These guys are very likely only 1 or 2 steps removed from al-qaida cell. AQ has had a goal for years to recruit Bosnians for their European looks.

I hope DHS wrings these bastards dry.

So let's see what we got here. We helped destroy a western Christian country in the heart of Europe, in the name of humanitarian action, and laid the foundation for a sharia terror state. In return, we get ... terrorists from that squalid region trying to kill our soldiers on US territory. Wondering if ANY of this is registering with the American people.

Perhaps they were just unemployed youths, or maybe this is just their way of saying they want foot washing basins in New Jersey.

Please note; The DHS refused to consider any and all concerns of the public regarding these terrorists and their planned attacks. (Don't start whining......my own brother just retired from ICE>)

The FBI also refused to get involved until (as the FBI SAC has noted on CNN) a vigilant photo shop employee made a serious complaint, and the prospect of television exposure and agency embarrassment prodded them on.

The "Hero" was the proud American Patriot who, like Pamela, Joe Kaufman, and very few others, loved his country enough to take a stand against terrorism.
