Iran Islamonazis Beat their Women Bloody
This is happening everyday, and not a peep from those enlightened bullshit liberals. Never a cross word for beheaders, rapists, and human slave traders. BUSHCHIMPHITLER! Meanwhile, Islam attacks!
Photo here at Masih. hat tip Larwyn. Kamangir has the full story here
The recent Police brutality against women, because of their “improper” veils, has caused disgust and anger in the Iranian blogosphere. Although some bloggers were initially worried that revealing the injured women’s face may put her in danger of prosecution, the very picture of a women with bloody face has been circulated in the Internet, both inside and outside Iran. Balatarin, the Iranian Digg, created a hot topic to cover the story. Right after the first picture was linked in Balatarin, it hit a record high in terms of number of votes, comments and clicks.
The anger is not a matter of political view. Simply, the mainstream blogosphere is up on their feet. These are some reactions inside Iran.
There's more, go.
Some women fight back and win - the woman in the burka is a policewoman.
Some women fight back and lose

Where is the bloody outrage from Hillary Clinton???!!! What reporter from the MSM is EVER going to have the ballz to stand up at one of Hillary's news conferences or intercept her after a Senate meeting and ask her what she's going to do about the never-ending violence against women..not only in Iran but in Pakistan and Iraq and Afghanistan. The World is waiting your answer, Mrs. Clinton. (crickets)

That you only listen to those who share your views like the talking heads on Fox, does not mean that liberals are not speaking out against violence against women, beheading and human slavery. It just means that you have gone deaf from life in your neocon echo chamber.

Yet Duncan can only use a post on the cruel treatment of women in an Islamic nation to slam the people showcasing it.
Would you care to try again Duncan? Show us you really care about these women, here's your chance to speak out.
{Thanks Pamela ;) }

What do you tell a mohammedan woman with two black eyes?
...
Nothing. You already told her twice.

On a more serious note, the liberals could not possibly care a whit less for these unfortunates.
All they issue are lukewarm qualified expressions of hesitant disapproval.
There is no gut level anger.
And nary a one that will stand up and fight. A little mild talk here and there. But not a single shot fired in anger.
Basically they have all been cowed into silence by fear of the jihaddis.
They would all have us fight less than Bush is doing.
They are cold heartless indifferent bastards.
And nothing will change their ways.
The democrats were the party of slavery during the civil war. And today they are the party of cultural relativism.
It's all OK if it's part of your culture.
Forget deporting the mohammedans. Lets round up the phonies at NOW and ship them all to Tehran and Riyadh.

Duncan, you disappoint me. The way your posting started out, I was bracing myself for your insertion of dozens of links proving your case - examples of ABC/CBS/NBC features on Islamic violence against women, but no...zip. I thought at least you'd have links of HUGE threads condemning this from the Koskidlets or the HuffPo, but I see none.
I'll make you a deal. I'll turn off Fox News after you've posted on here, links of Nancy Pelosi, Hillary Clinton, Barbara Boxer, etc all speaking out about the barbarism against women in the Islamic regimes.....deal?

On numerous occassions in the past, Denc made mention of the work of Mavis Leno and the Femnist Majority. They have been working for over a decade to end honor killings among other forms of violence against women in the Middle East, as well as to educate the women there.
Again, get out of your echo chamber and check out their website.

You might also want to check out the work Gloria Stienem is doing to end human slavery.
You folks hear what you want to hear.
Oh, and by the way.....I work with victims of domestic and family violence.

Duncan...you are so full of crap that the whites of your eyes have turned brown...BTW where is your sockpuppet alter ego today ? Yours is really a case of 'one hand' clapping.

Charging $45 a pop to spread the word about what every decent human being is already repulsed by? I know all the proceds go to the abolish slavery group, and that is good -- as long as that organization is actually doing something about it.
But here's a clue: if you really think that spreading the word as far and wide as you can about something is a real solution, you should make that solution as cheap as possible, if not free -- so the vast majority of the people have easy access to it.
I'm not saying what she's doing is bad, but being
seems more akin to stoking your own self righteousness and feeling good about yourself for your attention-drawing than to the actual plight of the enslaved. Maybe it's just me but I find language like that to be pretty hollow. It also ignores the fact that many prostitutes actually chose to be prostitutes. Unfortunately, many others did not.
Buying a $45 book for your coffee table to show everyone how concerned you are isn't quite as altruistic as donating. We should definitely be conscious of and avoid situations that promote such exploitation. But somehow changing your semantics from something that everyone already understands as something evil to more awkward language that draws more attention to the speaker than to the problem seems a bit... I don't know... narcissistic.
Which is ultimately what progressivism is all about, IMHO. They might talk about taking some real action to actually, you know fight the problem. But to progressives, "fight" means "speak out". Because, speaking out is "brave", and all, in a country that explicitly protects that right in its constitution.
Still, I'll hand it to Gloria. She's got Hillary beat by a long shot on this one. I imagine if we pressed her (and we might not even have to do that), she'd have no problem condemning Islamist oppression of women in Iran or anywhere else.
On the other hand, I don't believe we were talking about Gloria, were we?

Why is this the first time I have seen this?
I watch the BBC, CNN and the Danish news media.
I am not a neo-con but thanks for the info.
Dunncan thanks for your info on what feminist have been doing. However, I have not seen this item in the main stream media.
If I live in a neo-con echo chamber, I have moved house without knowing it.

Dear Doctor,
I did not expect you to believe my post. You are a neocon after all. And as and aid to George Bush pointed out to NYT's reporter Ron Suskind a few years ago, I inhabit the "reality-based community", defined as people who 'believe that solutions emerge from judicious study of discernible reality.' " The aide told Mr. Suskind, "That's not the way the world really works anymore. We're an empire now, and when we act we create our own reality."
Here's the tuth dear Doctor. I am not the Trasher. I do not live in VA. I do not have an alter ego. And in fact, I work in health care with vicitms of domestic and family violence. My seat here in the reality-based community allows me to see how the policies of the Bush administration are failing the American people on a daily basis.
So Doctor, where do your practice medicine? Or are you just creating your own reality by assuming that title?
Oh and one more thing. My eyes are blue and the whites of my eyes are still white.
