IRANIAN MOB ATTACKS uk EMBASSY
"DEATH TO UK! DEATH TO AMERICA!'
Despite Britain's appeasement and surrender, Iran is fanning the flames of war. Hungry for victory and domination of the Middle East. No worries the government of Britain is going to apologize to the mullahs. .......UNFATHOMABLE.
Iranian Mob Attacks UK Embassy LGF
Rocks and firecrackers have been thrown at the British embassy in Tehran as the row over 15 captured sailors and marines escalates.
Witnesses said there had been several small blasts and smoke could be seen rising in the compound.
Demonstrators called for the expulsion of the UK ambassador and the closure of the embassy, calling it a “den of spies”.
Around 200 people massed outside, chanting “death to Britain” and “death to America”.
Sky Foreign Affairs Editor Tim Marshall said the demonstration would have been sanctioned by Iranian officials. He added: “This is a warning. In the last protest there were around 10 people, around 200 this time and next time it could be thousands.”
Bush to Iran: 'Give back the hostages'
This is war folks. Whether the dhimmicrats or the rest of the West pulls its head out of its ass or not. This is war. The people of Iran must get the message NOW that they take back their country or we'll have it take it back for them. You can not keep moving the line in the sand. You'll wind up dead in the ocean.
I can't turn off the computer for a minute. Here I am on a flight bound for South Florida when this really sick, bloated old man who could barely make it onto the plane got sick (SHOCKA!) When I saw this fella barely being able to walk down the corridor onto the flight I said, that guy should not be flying.
So we are diverted to Kansas City, sitting on the ground waiting on the medics. I turned on my machine and got this news story. Very bad. Very bad indeed. Churchill is having a grand mal seizure in his grave.
Must read commentary by Irish Cicero over at the MNM, Maverick News Media: Mauro, MacGregor & Harrari
UPDATE: I am still stuck on the tarmac in Kansas City and I caught this over at Powerline.
I am with Steyn on this (and every other one come to think of it.)
Outrageous, demented or both?
Mark Steyn's column on the Iranian seizure of 15 British hostages is unusually downbeat. Among other things, Mark decries the rules of engagement under which the forces were apparently operating:
Patrolling the Shatt al-Arab at a time of war, the Royal Navy operates under rules of engagement designed by distant fainthearts with an eye to the polite fictions of "international law": If you're in a "warship," you can't wage war. If you're in a "destroyer," don't destroy anything. If you're in a "frigate," you're frigging done for.
On a related note, William Shawcross writes to ask if we have seen "these extraordinary statements from Zbigniew Brzezinski on Iraq, Iran and Vietnam. He asks: "Outrageous, or demented?" I would guess that Mr. Shawcross is referring in particular to this passage from the article: Read on
UPDATE: Check out the dhimmis press: CNN, the Crescent News Network. What would Jack Cafferty call them, honored guests? This is the CNN Headline. Think about that.
Bush calls British sailors 'hostages' in Iran
CNN.com
U.S. President George W. Bush has called Iran's detention of 15 British sailors and marines "inexcusable behavior" and called for their release, referring to them as "hostages."
Look at the quotes. Pathetic

And the Brits are going to apologize.
Unbelievable.

I saw all of these articles this morning and just sat here stunned. STUNNED!
Iran and it's proxies are gearing up for war, Hezzbolah is rearming at will in Lebanon under the very eyes of the so-called 'peacekeepers' set there by the UN, Hamas is doing the same in Gaza. Meanwhile, Iranians are infiltrating into Iraq, bringing with them sophisticated weapons and knowledge... In Syria, Assad and his forces, under the tutelidge of the Iranian guards are eyeing the Golan and licking their lips knowing full well that Israel will more than likely respond to an attack in the same limp-wristed manner it did last summer in southern Lebanon.
While all of this is happening, the Taliban are getting ready for a spring offensive under the very noses of the Pakistanis and NATO troops in Afghanistan.
Irans Revolutionary Guards are running roughshod from one end of the mideast to the other and mark my words, they WILL make a move on the straits of Hormuz before all is said and done.
They have a VERY strong defensive locale setup on the islands that overlook the straits. These defenses are VERY tough indeed and it's doubtful that anything short of an 'Iwo Jima' style attack would dislodge them from these commanding redoubts.
It will only take the smallest of provocations and we WILL find ourselves in a war that we can NOT win.
We are far to divided on the home front to truly mobilize ourselves. Our military is stretched thin, our logistical support units are tired, overworked and they are maxed out just keeping the troops we already have in theater supplied.
Granted, our naval and air assets are intact and available and could do a LOT of damage. A lot. But you do NOT ever win a war with air or naval power alone. EVER...
But do not underestimate the Iranians.
I suspect that we will see a further escalation by the Iranian Guards sometime in the next 2-3 weeks.
Britans craven cowardice in the face of Iranian agression will do NOTHING but convince the Guard that the west is nothing but a paper tiger, unwilling to defend itself.
A deadly miss-calculation is in the offing here folks. Whether it's in Lebanon, Syria, the gulf or Afghanistan, somebody is going to flinch the wrong way and we will see an all out war erupt the likes of which has NOT been seen on this planet since WW-II..
I CERTAINLY hope I'm wrong....

Hey, Pamela: Long as you're waiting, why not have the stewardess send out for some Kansas City barbecue? Heard it's pretty good. Something tells me it would be a LOT better than any airline meal.

No tazzerman you're right. And yes, Brzezinski must be demented.

At least the Brits seem to be waking from their sleep now. Not completely out of it but just there. Most of the leftards think that if they keep apeeasing and blame themselves, things will work out fine. Whereas the thugs act exactly opposite. The more you appease them, the more they'll be incited. Iran is upping its ante.
Still, did you knw that Alexander Downer, the Foriegn Minister of Australia directly threatened Iranian embassy here that they should release the hostages? Not evn George Bush did it. Thank God, I'm here. I'd be scared to be in Britain right now.

friends:
ever been walking at night past a darkened yard, when one of those little rat things starts barking at you like a demented doberman on meth & 'ludes?
or seen one of those peka-things bark at a far bigger dog?
folks, these people got bupkis. nuthin.
they are a pimple on a donkey's butt, militarily.
at this point, they are simply capable of provocation. nothing more. the next time someone who contributes to these posts sees an iranian gun boat putting up cheasepeake bay, write me, and i swear, i will be impressed.
we should take the dickless wonders out right now. god forgive the historical judgment on our leaders, for not having the simple gumption to realize they have been barked at in the night, and for not having the balls to eliminate those yapping pups in tehran.
god forgive us for our cowardice.

My guess is that the Brits will be blaming themselves for quite a while, like all Leftists do, until they are backed into a corner. At some point, the West will have to figure all this out all over again. This is just as they did prior to WW II. The Iranian government has pulled down the Brit's pants in front of the whole world, and the Brits are going to just whine and plead. And no luck will come forth via the EU or the UN. How galling. How embarrassing. How typical.
The John Galts are still sitting this one out, I figure.

"We are not apologising, nor are we saying that we entered their waters in the first place."
How do you read the above? I read it that they are not apologizing. Great Britain can be a strong force to be reckoned with, and Iran is making a big mistake taking their gingerly worded responses, or anyone elses, for weakness.
Yes the Iranians need to be confronted but they only make more enemies and more glaringly show themselves to be the evil terrorists that they are. Even the leftists can't deny it.

"The bombing will start in 5 minutes"...Tell them and then do it.

I saw some hapless female British reporter wearing a PINK rag wrapped around her head, getting pushed and shoved every which way by the Iranian Muslim knuckle draggers, thugs and sociopaths who were throwing rocks at the British embassy trying to give a report on the unfolding events in her most "non judgemental" of British voices on TV last night.
I have to admit I was enjoying seeing a member of the western media's "terrorist apologist and PR division" copping it up the arse from their very own cause celebre... maybe these Islamic knuckle draggers were unaware she was an 'enlightened one" from the western media and that explaines why they treated her in such a hostile manner.
I am sure the goons responsible were reprimanded for their unintentional act of "friendly fire" against one of their multitude of adoring British media door mats, after all Islam would not want to spoil what has been an Islam / Western Media 30 year love fest.
Yes, it was good to see what was undeniably FEAR in her eyes.
Yours faithfully,
Aussie.
