Iran: The Deadly Face of Evil
While we revile this in Ismail Ax apparently the "new Democratic Leadership" embraces it and wants a dialogue with it. Judith over at HNN writes;
IRANIAN COURT AGREES WITH CHO SEUNG HUI
Killers are everything but original. If the pictures sent by were not reminiscent enough of Islamist vigilantes, his argumentation cannot be more identical - his college classmates and teachers were not moral enough to live and therefore he had a right to kill them:
You had everything you wanted. Your Mercedes wasn’t enough, you brats. Your golden necklaces weren’t enough, you snobs. Your trust fund wasn’t enough. Your vodka and Cognac weren’t enough. All your debaucheries weren’t enough. Those weren’t enough to fulfill your hedonistic needs. You had everything
The Iranian supreme court could not agree more. It has just reaffirmed that according to their interpretation of Muslim law, individuals have the right to decide that their fellow citizens are not moral enough to live and proceed to execute them:
The Iranian Supreme Court has overturned the murder convictions of six members of a prestigious state militia who killed five people they considered “morally corrupt.” . . .
The ruling stems from a case in 2002 in Kerman that began after the accused watched a tape by a senior cleric who ruled that Muslims could kill a morally corrupt person if the law failed to confront that person.
Some 17 people were killed in gruesome ways after that viewing, but only five deaths were linked to this group. The six accused, all in their early 20s, explained to the court that they had taken their victims outside the city after they had identified them. Then they stoned them to death or drowned them in a pond by sitting on their chests.
In other words, Iran would be acting virtuously if it used its nukes to destroy any country (not only Israel) it considers too immoral to survive. Oh, yes, the IAEA just informed us that Iran produces nuclear fuel in underground facility.
Speaking of mass death. ABC is reporting here;
IAEA: Iran Has 1,300 Centrifuges Up and Running
International Atomic Energy Agency inspectors have confirmed through firsthand observation that Iran has over 1,300 centrifuges in operation, a diplomat close to the organization told ABC News.The finding, noted in an April 18 letter from the IAEA to Iran, confirms earlier ABC News reporting that Iran had drastically increased its capacity to enrich uranium, which can be used for reactor fuel at low levels of enrichment or for nuclear weapons at much higher levels.
In the letter, the IAEA wrote that Iran has claimed to have "eight cascades" operating at the Natanz fuel enrichment plant. Each cascade consists of 164 centrifuges, bringing to just over 1,300 the number of centrifuges Iran is operating. IAEA inspectors have been into the underground cascade halls and seen the centrifuges, the diplomat told ABC News.
When Hugh Hewitt ask me on my radio show (listen here) if he I thought Bush would take out the nukes before his Presidency was over, I said yes. Now I am sure of it. I pray for it.
Read it all, then start building your shelters.
UPDATE: I hate this guy, but I love hat he said. This could get him elected if he is the lone voice of sanity. hat tip Cuanas

It is obvious that a country sitting on the second highest amount of crude oil needs to find some alternate way to make electricity. It is perfectly reasonable that they need to have a civilian, peaceful, nuclear program to generate electricity.
Sarc off.
The sooner we take care of things, the better. I can understand the reason to wait somewhat, we want them to expend as much of their money and effort as possible before we destroy their nuclear capability, but I sure hope and pray that we don't wait too long.

I'm with you on McCain. He's trustworthy when he's running... not so when he's not. On social issues, I find him no different than the liberals he chooses to co-write legislation... Feinstein and Kennedy.
