I was honored to be one of the plenary speakers at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), annual policy conference. AIPAC is America’s largest and most powerful pro-Israel lobby.It was the first time a Christian Pastor was given the opportunity to speak to such an august group of Jewish leaders.
The existence of CUFI and the vast support for Israel within the Christian evangelical community was overwhelmingly received by the over 5,000 attendees at Monday’s evening banquet. Thank you for your prayers of support, I could not have asked for a better response.

I felt the attendees walked away with a sense of “hope” when they heard the message “Israel you are not alone!” We must do all we can to sustain that hope by making our Washington/Israel Summit as successful as possible. Make plans to attend today and motivate your friends and family to go to with you; take a “vacation with a purpose.”

Dr. John C. Hagee is the founder and Senior Pastor of Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, Texas, a non-denominational evangelical church with more than 18,000 active members. He is a friend of Israel and the Jewish people. Earlier this week he gave a speech at the national AIPAC meeting in Washington that is awesome in its expression of support of Israel. His speech had me crying; the heart-on-sleeve commentary of Pamela Geller picked up on the audio as she recorded the address had me laughing at the same time.
