Can't reveal my sources on this but here's something to chew on.
"Public information officers or spokesman for law enforcement agencies are purposely downplaying and in some cases lying outright to the public about arrests of Muslims in the US," so said one Federal law enforcement official.
"We have been told what to say, and more important, what not to say, and warned not to deviate from the 'template.'
According to this source, this is causing some officers within various departments of federal agencies to become angry at the 'mandated political spin and pressure" created by 'orders from above." When asked who were giving such orders, this source could only say that it was from the "big boys in Washington DC."
Apparently this is killing morale and "everyone knows it's a joke." "It makes some of us sick, the politically correct shit we have to put up with."
The source whose father was an agent during the 1960s racial problems said what was happening then was nothing short of easy compared to now. "In those days at least there was some honesty in dealing with the problem, today there is none."
Specifically this source was responding to inquiries concerning one MOUSA M AMBUELAWI, 22, a Muslim fro St Charles Missouri who was charged buying or attempting to buy grenades, weapons and claymore mines to be used to "prepare for war."
MAN WAS ARMING FOR WAR St Louis Post Dispatch
A St. Charles man obtained fully automatic weapons and tried to buy as many explosives as possible in preparation for what an associate called "war," the FBI says in court documents.
He bought three rifles and a Claymore anti-personnel mine and negotiated for a case of hand grenades, documents obtained by the Post-Dispatch show.
Mousa M. Abuelawi, 22, of Franjoe Court, was arrested Dec. 29 and charged on complaints accusing him of three counts of illegal possession or distribution of a machine gun and conspiracy to violate machine gun statutes.
Abuelawi, a Palestinian immigrant free on $50,000 bond, could not be reached.
The context of the word "war" was not explained in court filings; the FBI declined to comment.
According to the agent, this case "fits a pattern we've been seeing."
"Wea re discoverng more and more trafficking in arms and these kind of explosives, the stuff you see in the Middle East."
There are more and specific cases that illustrate that there are Muslim men here in the US that are "preparing to fight on the streets of our cities, or at least that's what they think they are going to do." And so they are "buying these weapons and even explosives, stealing them in many cases, preparing for this eventuality."
The men invloved in this movement commonly refered to as "the paintball jihad" Besides buying weapons and anything they can get their hands on, they are practicing urban combat.
"What is surprising to us, such as the trafficking in rocket launchers ( a reference to case in Albany) is that we are seeing more of this, more attempts to buy the kinds of weapons that used to be unheard of in law enforcement circles. It's a growing problem, one that we will see in streets before long, I'm afraid."

I predict:
If moslems start any kind of street-fighting bullshit before the Shrillary presidency starts, then moslems will cease to exist as a recognizable group in the U.S. Of course, after Shrillary is elected, all bets are off.
Remember kids, guns will get you through times of no money better than money will get you through times of no guns. Exercise your civil rights now.

While I hope it never comes to this, I also won't be surprised if it does. Should it coome, watch as the anti-war left prepares to start giving away the country for "peace." In the meantime, Iraq and Bush will be blamed because 'he didn't do enough to protect the country.'
In any event, I keep my personal implements of Second Admendment Freedoms cleaned and in good working order.

There is no doubt that there are organized sleeper cells and freelance jihadists preparing to make war in our streets and massacre us, when the time comes.
They are waiting.
I think we need to take the gloves off our law enforcement officials and allow them to do whatever is necessary to crackdown on Muslims and muslim sympathizers within our borders.
We need to stop letting Muslims into our country on student visas.
We need to stop letting Muslims build anymore mosques. These mosques are IMHO, enemy bases within our country.
These cells and freelancers hid in the dark, we should pay informants, druggies, prostitutes, and prisoners to give us information.
And don't forget the prisons, my guess is the jihadists will try to free them first and get weapons in their hands.
Our prisons are the jihadists best recruiting venues... along with their mosques, and our own streets...
I would use "Jack Baur-like" interrogate on the muslim who was buying weapons, explosives and claymore mines in St Louis, to see what was his motivation, what's on his laptop.
We cannot allow liberals and phoney civil-rights groups like the ACLU and CAIR to use our freedoms of speech and religion to cause our death or defeat.
Patriots around the country must remain vigilent.

I think I'm more concerned about the government immediately issuing denials about terrorism being the cause of some incident. It leads to keeping us in the dark about what really is happening around the world and here.

Our government must stop Muslim immigration to America. These people want to destroy our civlization. This is obvious yet political correctness makes us stupid and unable to speak the truth.

Which brings up a point I've been pondering for a while now. What will the military do? Shoot us, stand aside or help? Talking of big boys in D.C. sounds like something from the X-Files. Will these disaffected agents turn on the big boys? Read on another site this great idea, if the police, lawyers, courts and military issued a joint statement to all muslims (what exactly is a muslim and what is a secular muslim?) stating " We can no longer guarantee your safety" how fast do you think they'd leave?

What's getting me is the idiots in ATF and Treasury are increasing their efforts in DENYING LAW ABIDING AMERICANS from buying ammo. At the SHOT Show last year, Winchester and Federal both announced they were no longer selling .223 Remington to the civilian market and only to law enforcement and military.
How danmed counter-productive it is to disarm Americans.

I can buy new .223 Rem ammo easy (granted, I do live in Texas). It's available at local sporting goods store. Ironically enough, the stuff is made in Russia!
As for some future "War in the Streets"; what a stupid idea. Our civilian population is just too well armed for it to be successful. I know I'd be publicly carrying my guns everywhere if this situation occurred and I wouldn't be alone either.

I am so glad to see this in print. How utterly absurd that law enforcement must tow the PC line! PC foolishness along with the ludicrous claims of 'temporary insanity' during episodes of Sudden Jihad Syndrome and the msm attempts at concealing the identity of these jihadis will backfire. It's going to get real ugly.
(The insanity plea is used in Egypt after 'a lone Islamic fruitcake' slices and dices his way through Copts, is used in Turkey when an Armenian newspaperman is slaughtered, and, of course, in America when an enraged, psychotic Jihadi hits and runs.)

TC, could you provide links? I have had no problem getting .223 or 5.56mm ammo, except for one bullet weight which might be going to the military.
Naman, check out Fulton Armory about military and civilian ammo. Seems if you have a military type rifle, AR-15, you can shoot either, but if you have a civilian type hunting or target rifle you need to use .223 Remington.
Or, you could go to .308s!

i believe that TC is actually referring to M193. since the WOT, the military has increased it's demands for ammo. the US manufacturers are producing this ammo at break-neck speed but fortunately the military comes first. the level of surplus M193 has dwindled quite a bit because of the war demands and we civilians must accept that our first line troops are going to get what they need first. this leaves no or little production for civilians but getting 5.56mm or 7.62mm is not a problem here in the states, but it is getting more expensive. i'm not worried, i have enough now.

A lot of people say "Our government must do this" or "Get tough," etc. The problem is, we no longer have control of the government. Worse yet, the gov lies to us about terrorism, and protects it own agents (FBI, ATF, etc.) when they use it, or throws them in jail (Border Patrol) if they fight it.

This past weekend there was a gun show at our armory, of all places. There was a variety of 5.56 for sale, mostly Paki & Indian. I was able to purchase some allegedly Brit ammo, on strippers in a bandolier. I do note that the prices on 5.56 and M-16/AR mags have almost doubled since my last purchase about 4-5 months ago.

Here's the deal: Winch and Fed announced that the SHOT Show earlier this month that they will be selling .223 Remingtons ONLY to LE and mil. That's what happened. I have two friends who were there and heard each sales droid say that.
Secondly, .223 Rem and 5.56 NATO rounds are NOT exactly alike. The chambers on the 5.56 NATOs are actually a bit longer and if you put .223s in an M-16, M-4 or a mil AR-15 the bullet can shift in the chamber on the way out of the shell and accuracy turns to garbage.
What's really biting me is our governments, fed, state and local, keep encroaching on law-abiding citizens' rights to defend themselves and slowly decreasing the capability to defend themselves.
That's why I'm a Life Member of Gun Owners of America and a member of the Virginia Citizens' Defense League.
Screw the NRA. They've compromised too many times.

Neither Winchester nor Federal have these announcements on their sites.

"Screw the NRA. They've compromised too many times."
Roger that. The next time someone tells you that gun laws are "reasonable" restrictions on your civil rights, ask them what restrictions they would find "reasonable" with regards to their practice of religion and free speech. I promise a revealing conversation.

FASTAC 6: Amen to that. The way I see it, if the Lefty/Loony/Libs fight like hell to keep THEIR speech freedom uncompromised (but they want to curtail everyone else's.... "Fairness Doctrine" my hairy white butt), we gun owners (and as far as I'm concerned, TRUE AMERICANS) should find to be UNTHINKABLE to compromise our Second Amendment rights (no, they're not privileges).
