Explosion rocks US Athens embassy
BBC: An explosion has rocked the US embassy compound in the Greek capital, Athens, police say.
Fire engines rushed to the scene amid reports of an explosion at the heavily-fortified building in the centre of the city.
TV pictures showed a mass of emergency vehicles and stationary traffic outside the embassy as the area was sealed off. More here
UPDATE: It was an anti tank missile fired at embassy. Appears to be domestic terror. More here

Not cool at all.
Thanks for posting this.

The latest news report says the embassy is now roped off and considered a crime scene. Whew! THAT'S a relief - that terror is back to being considered a crime and not an act of war. Just like the good old days...

What kind of a deranged person would shoot a rocket at a US Embassy?

Let's hope the Greeks have enough psychologists and counselors available to help the poor, troubled people who lashed out with his/their call for help!
In all seriousness, reports I read (over at Hotair.com) seemed to think it was from disgruntled commies, and not muzzies this time. But, we know that they tend to run together....

eavesdropper: There's PLENTY of deranged people in Greece. I spent a year there, and it was during the Papandreaou regime, and the Leftists were everywhere. I had to be careful about a lot of things while I was there.
The universities in Greece are in even worse shape than ours when it comes to education. The higher schools there are hotbeds of communism, socialism, and they have blame-America-first profs all over the place (What?? YOu think the US is the ONLY place that has blame-America-first professors?).
It hasn't gotten any better.
