Time has been choosing a "person" of the year for decades, and it seems that their main object is to identify and publicize the person that makes the most news. Hence, they actually once named Adolf Hitler "Man of the Year". They actually should call it "the newsmaker of the year", for that's what it actually is. This year's choice of YOU, me and everyone else is a cop-out. Surprised they didn't anoint Obama, but that's coming I'm sure. Probably waiting for him to introduce his fragrance line for upward-bound men of distinction and little substance. $200 a bottle, plus tax.

Time Canada got it right: Canadian PM Stephen Harper as newsmaker of the year for being... a "warrior in power".
