Bolton moves on the Mullahs
Can't keep a good man down, eh? Keep on keeping on. Charging Ahmadinejad with inciting genocide? Long overdue I'd say.......... but he is just the mouthpiece. Gotta get the mullahs.
Move to bring genocide case against Ahmadinejad as Iran president repeats call to wipe out Israel The Guardian hat tip Carolyn
The outgoing US ambassador to the United Nations, John Bolton, is backing a call for the president of Iran to be charged with inciting genocide because of his speeches advocating the destruction of the state of Israel.[...]
The call for legal action came as Mr Ahmadinejad repeated his onslaught against Israel at an international gathering of holocaust deniers in Tehran. The president, who has dismissed the murder of six million Jews by the Nazis as a myth told up to 70 visiting speakers that the Israeli state would soon be wiped out.
"Thanks to people's wishes and God's will, the trend for the existence of the Zionist regime is downwards and this is what God has promised and what all nations want," he said.
He was praised by several participants for his "bravery and democratic actions" a source who was present told the Guardian.
The event came under fierce attack abroad. At his monthly Downing Street press conference, Tony Blair condemned the conference as "shocking beyond belief" and singled out the decision to invite David Duke, a former leading Ku Klux Klan member, as proof of Iran's extremism. Meeting Israel's prime minister, Ehud Olmert, in Berlin, the chancellor, Angela Merkel, said Germany rejected the conference and would "act against it with all the means that we have". Franco Frattini, the EU's justice commissioner, denounced it as "an affront to the whole democratic world".
By contrast, Mr Duke praised the event as "a tremendous step forward" and said Mr Ahmadinejad said "sensible things".
Mr Bolton will be joined in tomorrow's launch of the legal action against Mr Ahmadinejad by a Harvard law professor, Alan Dershowitz, and the former Israeli ambassador to the UN, Dore Gold, together with experts from the US, Canada and Israel. A suit will be lodged with the international court of justice at The Hague, which will decide whether to hear the action. The panel said the Iranian president was guilty of inciting genocide "by making numerous threats against the United States, calling for the destruction of Israel and instigating discrimination against Christians and Jews". His words violate a 1948 UN genocide convention, to which Iran is a signatory, they said.
Meanwhile, the dhimmicrats serve at the pleasure of the enemy here at LGF;
Syrian President Bashar al-Assad (L) meets U.S. Senator Bill Nelson (D-FL) in Damascus December 13,2006. REUTERS/SANA (SYRIA (Hat tip: Snapped Shot.)
Here's a full transcript of this outrageous meeting with state sponsors of terror, murderer of American soldiers and assassins of Lebanese cabinet ministers and journalists.
It isn’t just Bill Nelson. Meeting with America’s openly declared enemies is becoming de rigeur for Democrats: Blogmeister USA: Dodd Plans Talks With Middle East Leaders.
Connecticut’s other senator, Chris Dodd (D), is planning a trip to the Middle East to conduct what the Hartford Courant calls “his own Middle East peace talks.”
And, he’s bringing John Kerry with him. The two plan to talk to leaders in Iraq, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon and Israel.
The subheadline to the above linked article says, “Kerry to Join Effort in Sensitive Territory.” If it’s sensitivity that Dodd wants, he may want to rethink his choice of traveling partner.
Call me cynical, but I find it somewhat pretentious when two senators, both with presidential ambitions, decide to travel to a highly unstable area of the world with the hopes that perhaps they can succeed where others with more qualifications for such activities have failed.
Oh, you didn’t know Chris Dodd was planning a run for president?
DODD? Ironic that doddering Dodd was at the forefront of the campaign to keep John Bolton from fighting the great fight here. Hatred of the good for being good.
At roughly the same time Bill Nelson was having his chat with the chinless ophthalmologist in Damascus, Syrian ambassador Imad Moustapha was bashing America at a CAIR-sponsored event at the National Press Club: Syrian Ambassador Slams US at CAIR-Hosted Conference.

It really bites to see US taxpayer dollars paying for junkets of legislators (or should I call them "legislat-whores"?) to go to countries who are openly declared enemies of the US and our allies?? Well, John Kerry met with North Vietnamese leaders when he was a Naval Reserve officer, which normally would have cost someone their security clearance (I wonder if Kerry ever reported that meeting to the security people in his Naval Reserve unit? That alone merits disciplinary action.) but then again, Kerry is above rules in his mind and considering Navy officers, like Air Force officers, in reality don't have to follow the rules everyone else has to.
Unbelievable. I guess Bashir Assad will endorse a Democrat for prez in '08 for this.
I hope when Kerry meets with troops in Iraq somebody will have the balls to tell him off.

It was very satisfying to watch Bolton leave. I do not see that a confab with ME leaders is that productive but actually anything that gets americans out in the world is beneficial.

So peace by Mass Murder is beneficial, eh ballzar? You must be loving the genocide in Darfur about now.
Posted by: Gary | Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at 06:33 PM
balzar: Saddam Hussein gassed tens of thousands of Kurds, and closed Shi'ite shrines in Iraq. The Kurds now have semi-autonomy, which is a hell of a lot better than what they had under Saddam.
Now, as for mass murder, I don't see the "loving, caring, feel-good, we-care-about-the-little-guy" Democrats getting bent out of shape over Darfur... why??? Because the Democratic Party is owned and operated by moveon.org, George Soros and CAIR. Anything that holds up liberal-elitist totalitarianism (you know, like, uuhhhh ...let my puff my joint here... ) like Islam is manna from heaven for the Dems.
On top of that, we'll have higher taxes, higher gas prices and a big economic slowdown. Is this what you like, Balzar?

hehe.
Just imagine what might have been done about the madman had Bolton been President...

Don't think it's bad if Dem Duo go to Mid-East. Both the people there and the heady
monsoirs might learn something.

Didn't the N. Vietnamese give Kerry, and other American Commies, credit for allowing NV to win the war? After the US had beaten them militarily?
Isn't Kerry's photo in one of the NV "Hall of Communist Heroes" museums, or did they remove that?
Looks like Mr. Bush might ignore the ISG report, maybe he'll ignore the Dems, too.
Wouldn't it be cool to have Bolton as a VP?

Be sure and save the Bill Nelson/Ass-ad photo. It will come in handy later. At least when Rumsfeld was shaking Saddam's hand, Saddam wasn't sending suicide bomber over his border into the United States.

Sorry, gmee. I hope you're right. And yes, it would be cool.

"And, he's bringing John Kerry with him."
Well, if you work hard and try to be smart, you'll succeed, otherwise you'll end up acting the fool in the Democrat party, perpetually betraying your country to every two bit third world scumbag dictator you can kiss up to. And when you get to be an old hippy has-been, instead of leading the surrender delegation you might be allowed to have second billing.

Why can't I post?
I'm told it "might" contain spam!
Based on what?

Why doesn't Kerry want us to see ALL of his military record?
One reason could be a less than honorable discharge for his treasonous activities while in the reserves, see here , and here , and ESPECIALLY here , where we read...
"The "honorable discharge" on the Kerry Web site appears to be a Carter administration substitute for an original action expunged from Mr. Kerry's record,..."
Why a Carter administration substitute? You'll just have to read the rest of it to find out.

Some more related information on Kerry that doesn't help him can be found here and here, as the story was developing.
And, finally, what he along with members of his political party did, and continue to do with impunity, isn't exactly legal.

...And don't forget folks, that the great Republican Senator from PA, Arlen Specter, is also going along for the ride on this little trip to suck up to our enemies...put this in your memory banks and remember who supported him for re-election over a true conservative.

Doc, you are so right, as always my friend. Never forget..
Regarding Boltons move, YEAH! It's about freaking time.. I've been a huge advocate of doing just this, ever since Ahmadinejad started talking about wiping Israel off the map.
Iran and Israel are BOTH members of the U.N. To have one UN member OPENLY threatening another member should have been something that the UN jumped ALL over from the start.
Of course, the left wants to portray these statements of Ahmadinejad has being 'lost in translation'. MY ASS! I don't care what or how you translate it, Ahmadinejad is being VERY clear in what he wants to happen in regards to the 'Zionist Regime' as he calls Israel. He should be officially rebuffed by the UN just for using that TERM in regards to the duly recongnized, fellow UN member state of Israel.

Jimmy Carter's a closet Communist attempting to masquerade as a nice and caring guy.
Bill Clinton's evidently very valuable to the Communists, especially the Chinese, considering how much money Beijing funnelled into his re-election campaign AND GOT AWAY WITH IT!!!
Hillary wrote a thesis paper on the leftist radical Saul Alinsky... this gives me no doubt to where that Grand Lesbo-Bitch of the Universe sits.

Let's come right out and say it. Senator Bill Nelson is a traitor. The Iraq Study Group's Report is traitorous bunk trying to undermine our country's ability to defend itself. The Democrats want the American people to join in in their Politics of Self-Destruction, which will rip this country asunder and allow the terrorists to have their field day sacrificing the bodies of American citizens in praise of Allah.
