Saddam To Die!
A Victory for Good
Verdict coming down sometime early Sunday morning. I am praying for the death penalty for this evil tormentor. Couldn't happen to a more deserving bastard. I say he is going down. Iraq is in lock down, they ought to be having parades in the public square of every town.
BAGHDAD, Iraq — Iraq's prime minister on Saturday urged his countrymen to accept the verdict against Saddam Hussein without violence, then in the next breath declared that the former dictator must get "what he deserves" with the decision that could send him to the gallows. FOX News
UPDATE: Saddam is condemned to death by hanging. The dancing Iraqis are back. I missed them. They are dancing for joy in the streets.
The Judge threw Ramsey Clark our of the court room.... Oh, to have been a fly on the wall.
Over at Iraq the model hat tip Deb;
Saddam's trial is a trial for all tyrants who oppressed their peoples and a tough warning ... there are many more criminals in our land and they will eventually meet the same fate as Saddam's ... shake the thrones of other middle east tyrants but will also send a strong message to some of the current mini-Saddam's of Iraq who will also have their own days someday.
UGH, talk about ruining a moment. Dan Rathergate is running his mouth on FOX. Talking trash about it "just being a verdict." That Saddam is not dead yet. "He is not yet dead. He'll find a way out of this yet." "Saddam is a survivor" He is rooting for that shit head.
"He 'll make a deal. "He's cunning, he's very, very smart. He's not a madman." (uh Dan, you would know about madnss eh?)
"The last time I talked to Saddam Hussein, he denied he had WMD. You Americans can't take the blood." Wait, wait it gets better (or worse I should say.)
Waiting for Dan to break out in a rendition of Glora Gaynor's, I Will Survive - that or What's the frequency Kenneth............
Saddam yelling, "Death to America! Death to Israel! Allah Akbar! Allah Akbar!"
Allah Akbar indeed. More dancing Iraqis! Bring on those dancing Iraqis! The killers in Saddam's old hometown, Tikrit, ain't thrilled, but they should be. They're alive, aren't they?
UPDATE: Meanwhile in the Pali Arab territories, they are taking to the streets in support of Saddam, with posters and chants. Remember, it was Saddam paying $25,000 to every Palestinian family of a suicide/homicide bomber. Palestinian murderers lost their patron and benefactor. Give 'em a state!

Ho0w soon can we "swing" this animal ? How many appeals do we have to wade through, and can we also hang Ramsey Clark while we are at it?

Mohammed at IRAQ THE MODEL made interesting comments (last night, US time - before the verdict was announced) on this trial and its implications:
Saddam's trial is a trial for all tyrants who oppressed their peoples and a tough warning ... there are many more criminals in our land and they will eventually meet the same fate as Saddam's ... shake the thrones of other middle east tyrants but will also send a strong message to some of the current mini-Saddam's of Iraq who will also have their own days someday.

CONGRATULATIONS to the Iraqi people who have suffered under the tyrant, Saddam.

I only wish, for the troops sake, that John Kerry could be arrested, tried, and punished for the way he's ruined the reputation around the world of our TROOPS, OUR GREATEST PATRIOTS.

opps - meant to add this..
(just spotted this on Power Line Blog (who found it on BlackFive) - after you read it you’ll wish John Kerry would be arrested.)
“I was in Vietnam in 1971,” my buddy continued. “I didn’t commit any war crimes and I didn’t see any. Kerry said we were committing war crimes everywhere all the time.”
Remember, readers, this is 1999. We’re in a creaky barrack, wearing t-shirts, BDU trousers, and boots. Earthquake aftershocks occasionally boom–and the booms sound and feel like heavy artillery. And he mentions John Kerry.
“I despise the man,” my friend said. “He lied and benefited politically from his lies….He lied about me.”

Why is ANYONE listening to ANYTHING Dan Rather says? I thought he was dead anyway. Swiftboats killed him, or fake documents. One or the other. Time to leave the man at the dog track.

I LOVE this photo!
Notice how our troops got Saddam to turn and smile for the camera!
You've had your day in court, now
Die You MOTHERFUCKER!

I will never forget the images of those dead Kurdish babies who were gassed to death along with their parents. Lying in the open fields as they rushed outside of their homes trying to breath... Those images were burned into my mind. If those were not weapons of mass destruction then I don't know what the hell is. A cold blooded murderer, plain and simple.
Hell is awaiting one of its own. He will be arriving soon I trust.

Great piece by Mohammed Fadhil from Iraq the Model on Pajamas Media about the verdict.

AMEN Joseph! I'm sure there's a special place in Hell for that murdering tyrant.
As for Dan Blather, he's the king of all asshats!

I bet Lonbud will be pissed about this, but just like everything else, there's nothing he can do about it but pontificate. Ha ha little biotch.

I hope others are noticing as well that each Democrat leader coming out in favor of this sentence is also inculding a slam against Bush, stating the sentence doesn't change anything on the ground in Iraq.
Isn't it ironic that each also has said that capturing Bin Laden will change everything?
More politicization and double standard from the left.
If they expended half the energy supporting the effort we could win this thing a lot sooner.

Capturing Bin Laden will put the man behind 9/11 in jail. It won't "change everything".
Just like putting Shrub on trial will help convict the man behind the Iraq war. Shrub in jail won't "change everything", but it's a nice start.
