Laptopless in Vegas
So I hit the ground running in Vegas for the Terror Conference and your feckless blogging correspondent left her laptop on the plane! With the Verizon phonecard! And it's not even paid off! The plane was delayed for hours ....got in at like 3am so I was not on my game.
Needless to say I jumped a cab and spent the rest of the night/morning tracking my baby down. Came up snake eyes. The peeps at the airport were of no help but Shirl is working on it so I live in hope. There is no way I'll be doing any gambling .......... not feeling lucky fellas.
Postings will be light (if at all) until I get my mojo back. Working in a pathetic excuse of a "business center" at $7.50 for every 15 minutes online. Are we having fun yet?
Meanwhile check out the conference;
Walid Shoebat
Dr. Babu Suseelan
Dr. Wafa Sultan
Robert Spencer
Bruce Tefft, PhD
Harvey Kushner, PhD
Paul Williams, PhD
Hamid Mir
UPDATE: First the good news, I'll never stop blogging! The bad news? Verizon told me someone is using the phone card in my laptop so now we know it was not a good samaritan that found it. : ( It's a goner. CLOSURE!
I make no apology. Was bloggin on the ground......plane delayed for 3 hours...landed NY time 4 am and I was sleeping. So yeah, I spaced. BFD! But I will need a new laptop. Any of my readers have any suggestions? Small, lightweight, powerful, multi media friendly and beautiful?
Just finished the first half of the conference, Wafa, Walid and Spencer blew me away. Will have audio up as soon as I have a fookin computer!......... Do I go Mac this time or stick with Dell?

Grrr... Seeee. That's what you get for not going with me! I would have taken care of your every need.:)
We expect nothing less than a full report of all the juicy details. Be safe and have fun.

No joke, Pamela. After the stress of the elections, traveling, etc. Try to take it easy. Too much stress is never a good thing. Relax and enjoy. Forget about the blogging until your ready. See ya.

PC? I guess it depends on what else you want to do with it, but by the sound of your desired attributes I would suggest what my Linix nephew and Rush Limbaugh would suggest; an Apple G Powerbook.

If it is a MAC; new dual-core intel so you can run windows as well as Mac OSX. If it is PC? Would recommend Acer's new Ferrari laptop--very cool. Also, Sony has some decent pricing and hip colors on their smaller units. Just my two cents; keep the change. ;)

You have over 2 MILLION hits – you start my day and end my evening – I have yet to disagree with anything you have ever said. Seems I must be your biggest fan – a title I would wear proudly. Why don’t you just stop telling the truth and get some rest? BECAUSE WHO WOULD BE OUT THERE LETTING US KNOW WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON.
You keep doing what you have been doing – I would miss you if you stopped

That's OK. You look great laptopless.
Go Mac, unless you need an IBM platform for running proprietary software in your regular job.
Lastly, always have your laptop in your carry-on overnighter.

The update was a kick. Wooly just can't leave it alone, can she?

At least Wooly won't be planting her uterus outside Pamela's property as Bush's stalker, Mama Sheehan, did. Double-yuck.

You may be lucky in that most laptops come with a trackable FBI file (embedded). Check to see if this laptop of yours had it. It's a way of tracking it. I think this came out after 9/11.
