Would Islamic Jihad Give GOP Win?

WASHINGTON – Another Pakistani journalist is reporting receiving another threat – this one from a senior Taliban leader – warning all Muslims to leave the U.S. in anticipation of a major terrorist attack before the end of Ramadan.

The head of the Islamabad-based al-Quds Center reported receiving an audio message from Mullah Masoom Afghani urging U.S. Muslims to get out of the country "because Allah's punishment would fall on America in the month of Ramadan." Muslims are observing Ramadan this year Sept. 24 to Oct. 23

Color me skeptical. Why would the jihadis want the Republicans to win?  Makes no sense. Unless of course they dont give a goat's ass and want to kill us all no matter who holds the reins.

The goal of the Jihadis is to kill as many people as possible, cause as much chaos as possible and - most importantly - keep the war going. If the Republicans win, the war keeps going. If the Democrats win, they will surrender to the Jihadis and then they will have one less excuse to keep fighting.

Sadly I think the headline to this post is TRUE. A Jihad attack would give the GOP the win... it's too bad that many of us and our kids are going to have to get mutilated in order for the Republicans to vote.

Respectfully disagree with Carl that if the Democrats win, the diaperheads will not keep fighting... When Clinton won, those were 8 horrible years of jihad event after Jihad event. And don't forget, the 19 hijackers were in Hamburg planning and preparing for 9/11 for at least 2 of the Clinton years.

Clinton appeased and let the Jihadist run amuck. I am totally confident that if Dems win, the SAME THING will happen. To them, terrorism (jihad) is a NUISANCE.

The ihad hot spots throughout the world (and the cells in our country) will get grow hotter and bigger and more of us will die.

It's more than that. The concept of 'Jihad' is to forward the goal of Islam by any means--including mass murder. Submit or die. Islam means submission. It is the absolute enemy of freedom.

Rich: With some few exceptions, so-called 'moderate muslims' live unassimilated in muslim neighborhoods. A muslim man that enlisted to fight against 'slammis would soon find his family intimidated or dead. And, given that jihad is a central tenet of islam, is there truly such a thing as a practicing moderate muslim?

turn - I was sorta being "tongue in cheek" (sarcastic) because I don't think muslims (moderate or otherwise) will ever enlist in our military to fight against the Jihadists.

You say they won't because the other 'slammis will threaten or kill his family members (and you're probably right) and also they won't because, like you said, there might NOT BE such a thing as a moderate muslim that would be willing to fight against muslim extremist (not by the THOUSANDS or tens of thousands, like regular red-blooded Americans do every month).

It would be an amazing sign if large numbers of muslims did start joining the service, hellbent on killing jihadists. Wouldn't it.
