Will Condi Rice Take the Veil?
From the hudna known as Resolution1701 to the contiguous Pali state, Queen Condi has made America a laughingstock on the world stage, has squandered the perception of American military greatness and rendered American foreign policy a mishmosh of inconsistent platitudes and policy.
Now this. A quickly released Department of State Press release -- Lori Lowenthal Marcs writes;
Go to the ATFP website here - it looks somewhat reasonable, but read carefully and you'll find the same old rhetoric - the territories were taken by force, granting Palestinian statehood will resolve the rage currently fueling violence in the region, there must be a just resolution to the refugee problem.... the recommended books are largely by Said, Khalidi, Armstrong, Segev. There's a whole section devoted to the "Israel Lobby." What the hell is Rice doing?
What the hell indeed?
