Atlas -BZ. It's great to hear Santorum, he's not afraid to criticize Bush.
Rick says the reason his message isn't sinking in and the reason he's characterized as a fear mongerer is because the State Dept and President Bush are afraid to call the war, the WAR AGAINST ISLAMOFACISM.
The Republicans could squelch the liberals talking points as soon as they all get on the same page and tell the world who we are really fighting against.
Go RICK, pray he wins next week.

Santorum is in a virtually even political race. We can't afford to lose him! We need more Santorums!

John Kerry campaigns in Pennsylvania on Wednesday for Casey.

I knew almost nothing about this senator before reading Atlas Shrugs. Now I feel we need him on a national stage now and in the near future, in or out of the Senate. If one-term-and-out Edwards can be nominated for veep and freshman Obama can be the the "great black hope" of the Democratic, then Santorum ought to be considered presidential or vice-presidential material, too.

This morning, I heard a talk show host who thinks that Santorum is already campaigning for 2008.
The host's thesis is: Rick won't win in PA, therefore he's decided to start winning the hearts and minds of Republicans outside of Pennsylvania.
The host says Rick hasn't spoken much about what he's done for Pennsylvanians and all the local issues and programs he's begun or improved in the state. Instead he's focused on bringing attention and truth to the wider more important concerns of the country.
The host thinks this is deliberate, that Rick will take the next 2 years to prepare a major national campaign to become the Republican candidate.
BTW, Kerry IS coming to downtown Philly later (5:15PM EST) today, to campaign for Casey.
The Location is:
18th St, between Arch and Cherry (north of Market St).
A huge turnout of conservatives (mostly Vets) are expected to give Kerry a greeting he'll never forget....
I intend to be there. If there are any Atlas Shrugs readers that decide to go, look for me, I will probably have my "Thank You Troops" sign (and T-shirt). I will be easy to find. I'll be yelling a lot.
And.. I received a message from a Philly Republican friend that Santorum might be in the area too.
This could be FUN.

If Santorum does not win re-election there is no way he is the top choice in 2008. Ironically Casey is running as a Democrat after the Democrats refused his father permission to speak at one of their Presidential conventions.

I saw the video. Santorum is a voice of common sense. I wish the rest of the Republicans had his backbone. I do not want to see the GOP become Colin Powellized.

FLASH!
Just found out that Bob Casey has cancelled the event.
Kerry won't be there (probably got uninvited).
But Santorum is still going to be there, so if you can get to downtown Philly around 5PM, I'll see you there.

"He ought to be top of the ticket in '08" -- Atlas
I was just thinking that the other day, so, yeah, I'm on board.

Just got back from the Santorum Rally in Philly.
It was GREAT! Lots of media, took lots of pictures, and video. Yours truly helped lead the chants, we started with:
"THANK YOU TROOPS"
and
"RICK O SIX"
and
"TERRORISTS FOR CASEY"
and
"BUSH WAS RIGHT"
we sang "God Bless America" a bunch of times.
There were some protestors across the street with "Impeach Bush" and "The World will be better when Bush is gone" and "Bush Lied" signs.
I laughed at them. We far outnumbered them, about 8 of them and about 150-200 of us.
It was fun to shout "Commies for Casey" at them and "Bush was Right" and more.
Santorums staff loved us. They kept saying, "Rick's gonna come out and thank you" and around 7:15PM, he came outside and shook all our hands - he was so happy, we had chanted for about 90 minutes right outside his National News Conference.
I did shake his hand and he just had the biggest smile - it was so great to see him, so happy, genuinely happy.
Wish you guys coulda been there.

Rich you rock! As Atlas is a clear voice of reason and no-spin vlog perspective out of a monotonous white noise of Communist slanted media, Rich is often the one LITERALLY carrying the banner (signs/t-shirts) at these events, an emobiment of selfless Veteran and National pride, love, and respect. As I feel about my wife's 10 years of service and as I explained to my 9-year-old daughter on the way home from hear dance classes this evening, they are my heroes. Whether it's the Freedom Concert, a Dom Giordano event in Philly commemorating Veterans Day, a live Sean Hannity broadcast before the 2004 Presidential election, in support of Santorum, or even supporting a friend at his promotion or a Military Idol finals at Ft. Myer, Rich is always there with a rousing spirit and positive attitude. Thanks for also letting me know about Atlas' site Rich. It's an honor to see a fellow Jew who really know what the expression "Never Again" really means in the face of the Islamofascists and isn't afraid to put her opinions out there to fly in the face of Soros, a self-hating Jew who was THERE when Hitler threatened and STILL doesn't get it! It's an honor to participate.

jeez Major... //kicks at imagineay dirt//. Thanks man.
It's my honor to be friends with America's greatest patriots and that's what YOU are.
YOU and all the active duty troops serving anywhere are most appreciated, YOU are our greatest treasures and I know you do it, in spite of the sacrifices, because you believe in this country and you're willing to defend it, knowing the risks. Most of you will come home, some won't and some will be wounded. You deserve all we got. The least I can do is tell the world how proud we are of all our troops and say thanks.
And I'm really glad you've become an Atlas reader and I enjoy your comments mucho.

If I was in his state I'd probably vote for Santorum.
However he has a despicable record on drug prohibition in general and medpot in particular. He is one of the reasons the USA is falling behind in this area of medical research. The Israelis do it better:
PTSD and the Endocannabinoid System
Do Republicans support drug prohibition because it finances criminals or because it finances terrorists?
Republican Socialism. Price supports for criminals and terrorists.
