Jihadists and Jews
Andrew Bostom sent me this latest outrage from the jihad loving left. Bostom writes;
Look at the underpinnings of this "defense" by Susan Estrich et al... Le Trahison De Clercs of our time, Jihad Denial...A genocidal (and timeless) global Islamization campaign is deemed legally and morally equivalent to a localized self-defense effort against that hideous process by the vibrant, liberal democracy of Israel ! And of course it is a Jew, perversely, leading the legal team making this immoral equivalence. How utterly depressing. Maybe Estrich will suggest Hasan Nasrallah for the next Nobel Peace Prize for "orchestrating" the Lebanon Hudna, the way Gertrude Stein suggested Hitler be similarly rewarded after Munich.
Incredibly, the suspects' attorneys also argue that such charitable giving, to support the jihad and mujahideen, is rightfully tax-exempt under U.S. constitutional protection of religious freedom. Moreover, they compare their support of Islam's "holy war" to the Jewish National Fund (JNF) appeals for tax-deductible "donations to finance the purchase of bulletproof vests, helmets and firetrucks in connection with the 2006 Israel-Lebanon conflict."
Read the article carefully. The Democrats are have become the mouthpiece and apologists for the jihad. Their antisemitism is becoming more clear and their hate America/Israel a party platform.
JIHADISTS AND JEWS Washington Times
By Rachel Ehrenfeld and Alyssa A. LappenDemocratic strategist and former Michael Dukakis campaign manager Susan Estrich, and the former American Civil Liberties Union president in Massachusetts, Harvey Silvergate, recently joined the attorneys representing two alleged Boston al Qaeda funders.
Equating the supply of bulletproof vests to defend Israeli civilians from Hezbollah's jihad with the funding of weapons and martyrs (holy warriors) for the jihad is preposterous. The JNF does not promote religiosity. Rather, it was incorporated in the United States in 1926 to develop the ancient Jewish homeland and to maintain and encourage the connection of the Jewish people to it. In contrast, Care was established to promote and advance al Qaeda's version of Islam.
Messrs. Muntasser and Mubayyid, the respective founder and treasurer of Care International, were indicted on May 11, 2005, for lying about the true nature of their organization and their charitable, tax-exempt activities. They now claim that their fund-raising from 1993 to 1996 conformed to the "teachings of an Abrahamic faith." Moreover, they claim, their activities correspond to those that "other 501(c)(3) religious groups conduct on a regular basis."
Their own publications, according to an FBI affidavit, state that Care was established in 1993 in Boston by Mr. Azzam, and not by Mr. Muntasser, as he stated in Care's Articles of incorporation, and on Care's application for tax exemption as a "charity." Mr. Azzam was also a key leader of the Muslim Brotherhood.
According to the FBI affidavit, Care's publication "Al-Hussam" (the Sword in Arabic) actively advocated for "jihad" or holy war, involving "mujahideen" or Islamic holy warriors. In addition, the affidavit states that Care was "the outgrowth of and successor to the Al-Kifah Refugee Center branch in Boston." After September 11 the U.S. designated Al-Kifah -- Sheikh Abdul Rahman's outfit in Brooklyn -- as a terrorist organization for "its involvement in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing."
Read it all and get out the vote. Vote like your life depends on it.Because it does.

Considering Susan Estrich's resume contains an entry involving Michael Dukakis, what would you expect? Listening to her screech her leftard opinions over the airwaves has ALWAYS forced me to change the channel. As far as her tenures as a "Democratic strategist" and campaign manager for Dukakis, how'd those work out for her?

Listening to Susan is like sitting in the classroom while someone scrapes their finger nails down the blackboard...I'd rather have a root canal without the novacain.

Susan Estrich (whom I sort of liked eventhough our politics were different) when she was on Hannity & Colmes - has herself wearing a Star of David on the cover of her anti Ann Coulter book. How ironic!

For the picture (if you can stomach it) of Esdtrich and her prominent Star of David.

I used to at least tolorate Susan as she is kind of smart, but this latest article showing her defending terrorism just totally is over the top. I understand Lawyers have to defend their clients, but first off, Susan chose to represent those who want us dead, and second off, she is presenting a rediculous argument in the hopes that a liberal judge will will find them valid, which they aren't. I dunno- the fact that a treasoner just got a 28 month slap on the wrist, and the fact that people like Susan could possibly try every trick in the book, regardless of the deceitfulness of the attempts, to get their reprehensible clients off the hook, just shows a disgraceful trend by the left to coddle terrorists and vilify the U.S. I thought I'd seen everything, but Susan's defense for the indefensible just transcends all reason and moral fortitude. I wote a lengthy article on this if anyone cares to take a gander- not sure how to format a link, but-
