ISRAELIS: STORM THE KNESSET! THROW THOSE BUMS OUT!
I am still scratching my head over the Olmert win. I could never reconcile a political hack as PM with a a closet full of left wing, Israel hating family members. Pacifists. Army deserters. Scandalous. Olmert's son deserted Israeli army service and his children, including a declared pacifist- Dana (hence Abu Dana), live abroad. Olmert's Wife Implicated in Latest Scandal
Aliza Olmert, Prime Minister Olmert's wife, received a "salary" of 240,000 shekels in the year 2004 - though employees don't remember her, and the job doesn't appear on her resume. The information was publicized by the Hebrew website NFC, whose frequent scoops regarding allegations of corruption by Ehud Olmert has earned it a hate-Olmert reputation.
In 2004, the year in which his wife received the pay, Ehud Olmert served as Minister of Industry, Trade and Employment, as well as Head of the Israel Lands Authority, and held the Communications portfolio. NFC reports that his wife Aliza received, over the course of 11 months, approximately 22,000 shekels each month from a private company owned by Avi Naor.
A frequent donor to public causes such as the Green Light anti-traffic accidents organization, Naor has frequent contact with government officials, NFC reports, and often requests budgetary allocations.
Aliza said that the money paid her was for services rendered, beginning shortly after Naor and others planned a public-social project set to cost two billion shekels. The project was designed to save children at risk currently living in poverty. A very small part of the project was ultimately carried out, in Afula and Kiryat Gat.

On February 01, 2006 the Olmert care-taker government sent masses of police, dozens of them mounted, to beat and trample Jews who were sitting and standing in front of nine Jewish homes to protest their impending destruction as part of the Bush-mandated Road Map. The homes were built on long-barren land within the Jewish town of Ofra, about eight miles north of Jerusalem. Many videos exist (for example at israelreporter.com or israelnationalnews.com) of the savage police riot that occurred, resulting in 350 injuries.

On July 12 Hizballah, part of Iran’s armed forces attacked Israeli border guards, killing six and abducting two. This act of war was followed by daily rocket barrages, nearly four thousand in five weeks. The Olmert-Peretz (Kadima-Labor) government kept the IDF on a choker, stifling its strategic plans of attack and showing flagrant contempt for Israeli soldiers and citizens displaced while the rockets fell.....

UPDATE Monday October 30th: More scandals, they just don't stop coming (how many broads did the President rape?). What more do the Israelis need?
