Chris did not ask him about exactly why Sandy Berger went into the national archives and stole those top secret documents. Everything that he stuffed down his pants  were documents relating to these very topics, signed by slick Willie and Berger and the top flight intel guys.

And poof, the documents are gone, and he couldn’t remember shit (or didn’t have to, with no cross examination based on the documents possible), and the documents were never uncovered.  now, presumably when you go home and take off your pants in the evening, for whatever reason, you would notice the blue bowling ball and the brown shoes and the secret documents from the national archive, and take them back the next day and return them, with a red face.  but, when they get lost, that sort of suggests that you meant to steal them, to my poor meager intellect.

So, Bill Clinton has every reason in the world to be a paranoid delusion knot head, and suspect all kinds of underhanded skullduggery at every turn, because that is just the way he operated.  and still does.

Vince Foster, Rob Brown, Sandy Burger, the Macdougals, …. , he has good reason to suspect people will behave just like him.  at least chris wallace hasn’t turned up dead yet.  who knows, maybe this will prove so embarrassing and troubling to his psyche that he will have to swallow some 9 mm pills.

UPDATE: Moe conversation from one of the  more insightful voices in my salon. CUANAS tells me Chris Wallace was interviewed this morning and he said that there was no making up with Clinton after the interview. Clinton started yelling at his staff, and left the room without even attempting to make things better.

CUANAS also believes Clinton's behaivor was very strange indeed. He points out;

Other noticable physical abnormalities include dry mouth (his top lip getting caught in his upper teeth) and the white junk build up at both corners of his mouth.

Yeah it was tough to watch - hard to look away though, like  rubber necking.

Well you sure have me suffering whiplash. When a caller to your radio show two weeks ago stressed the importance of bringing in bin Laden, you and your guests responded that he was not at all important. Now all of a sudden Clinton is to be hanged for not getting bin Laden. So which is it? Is bin Laden important or not?
This change of heart is not at all surprising. It seems you are just taking cues from your leader, George W. Bush, as evidenced by the following:
The 9/11 Commision Report quotes Condi Rice referencing the dire warnings about al Quaeda and predictions of plane hijackings, but they were not taken seriously. Bush remained in Crawford.
Then after the attack, Bush is quoted as saying we must bring bin Laden in "dead or alive."
But this is what happened in the days following the attack according to a CIA operative on the ground who spoke to Newsweek.
"the CIA field commander for the agency's Jawbreaker team at Tora Bora, Gary Berntsen, says he and other U.S. commanders did know that bin Laden was among the hundreds of fleeing Qaeda and Taliban members. Berntsen says he had definitive intelligence that bin Laden was holed up at Tora Bora—intelligence operatives had tracked him—and could have been caught. "He was there," Berntsen tells NEWSWEEK."
The Newsweek article goes on to state
"the decorated career CIA officer criticizes Donald Rumsfeld's Defense Department for not providing enough support to the CIA and the Pentagon's own Special Forces teams in the final hours of Tora Bora. That backs up other recent accounts, including that of military author Sean Naylor, who calls Tora Bora a "strategic disaster" because the Pentagon refused to deploy a cordon of conventional forces to cut off escaping Qaeda and Taliban members. Maj. Todd Vician, a Defense Department spokesman, says the problem at Tora Bora "was not necessarily just the number of troops."
We lost bin Laden at Tora Bora and then Bush lost interest as evidenced by this quote:
I really don't think about Osama bin Laden. He's not that important to me."
Now five years later Bush and his followers are back to believing he's important again.
The man murdered thousands of Americans. He never stopped being important.

Having said that I now doubt this post will survive five minutes on this site.

i think that sandy berger is the key. it is not just that he knows what was in the documents from the national archives (heck, all kinds of people do, e.g., the ones who generated them), but he knows who had him steal them. who paid him to steal them. who paid for his legal defense, as he was prosecuted for the act.

in short, he knows who his silence protects.

he is not just protecting bill. he is not just protecting bill's stature in history. he is acting prospectively, to protect the stature and integrity of someone who still has something to gain from maintaining white gloves in this whole sordid mess.

my hunch is that the road through sandy berger leads straight to george soros and hillary clinton.

this is where the digging should be focused, in my estimation.

Duncan: Yes we still must get OBL, but he as been marginalized and is of little significance to current terrorist activities. Military operations in Afghanistan damaged his command and control structure to the point where OBL's only way to communicate with al Qaeda members is by courier. Hell, some say he's dead now. Bill Clinton is like a poker player with a bad "tell". Pamela, you picked up on it - he wags his finger and all one can hear, no matter what he is talking about, is "I did not have sex with that woman!" Bill lied, people died, to use a MoveOn phrase.

You should post Condi's response to him today. She really gave it to him. I don't like her recent turn-around on Israel, etc., but she can sure defend the Bush administration!

Bill Clinton had a full 8 years to dispose of Bin Laden, but he was too worried about opposition! If he had Bush's stones, he wouldn't have poll-tested the issue to death and he could have done what was right - he didn't. The fact is, I don't care what a President does in his off-time - he can bang all the interns he wants - but he was on the clock, middle of the day, when he engaged in his extracurricular activities. I want a President to earn his keep and focus on his job (not the other kind of job) during working hours. And it affected his performance and credibility and ability to lead the nation. He lied, people died. He says that people didn't trust him on the Somalia issue - forget that he didn't have a plan - what was left to trust? He says now that he was fully focused on the threat scenario? How can that be? If the whole nation was focused on his little imbroglio, how could he have been immune from the pressures of it - even if Hillary didn't throw lamps at him constantly, as was rumored. The NY Times said it was his great ability to "compartmentalize" that allowed him to focus - yeah, I think I believe Maureen Dowd even less than Bill Clinton. Yes, Billy got pilloried along partisan lines - but he is the only one responsible for allowing that to occur - any other executive branch employee engaging in that kind of conduct on the job would have been dismissed without a hearing. Look at the heat Cheney took from the left for accidentally shooting his friend during vacation! Imagine if he were caught being serviced by a page during work hours? Would Barney Frank hesitate to call for his resignation? Even McGreevey had the courtesy to resign! If Clinton was having his way with Madeline Albright, at least he could have claimed to be discussing policy while doing his business. Judging by the "interview" with Wallace, Clinton doesn't seem to listen much anyway. He wanted to be a rock star, not a President . . . but he couldn't play an instrument well and had a hoarse voice.

Excuse me for piling on here but I just can't resist pointing out that I was in the Navy from 1981-2001.

It started out so great, Reagan as CIC, Peace through Strength, pride in the Military, Trust but verify, Morale was HIGH in the Navy for all eight of the Reagan years, and it continued for 4 more years of the first Bush Presidency - it was great - everyone loved being in the Navy, doing our jobs, helping America win the Cold War.

Then -- sigh, the Clinton years...... THEY WERE THE WORST EIGHT YEARS!! we went backwards.. we stopped being tough, we had to have Political Correctness EVERYWHERE! Couldn't smoke anywhere, CO's balls being busted for sailors drinking in base clubs, gay rights shoved in our faces, and worst of all - no more STRENGTH - no more SHOW THE FLAG - we were a HUMANITARIAN Navy - and the MORALE WENT WAAAAAAAY DOWN... I was in the intell game and I saw all the "HOT SPOTS" GLOWING... glowing, growing and glowing, and our fuckin CIC let these Jihadist bastards creep us on us, and commit Jihad against us (remember THE COLE!) and wouldn't let us strike back - so frustrating... he put us from "full speed ahead" to "full reverse"

When W won, it was great, it was like a 500 pound weight got lifted off all our backs, we could be be strong again.

But Clinton put us in a terrible deep hole - trimmed down our active duty force from 1 million to 600,000 - because he wanted to "take advantage" of the "peace dividend" - It gonna take a couple decades or more to dig out of his Presidency.... fat ass, poll-driven, selfish bastard.

listened to the telephone interview w/ dick morris. i most certainly appreciated his comments on sandy berger, and the fact that berger was stealing documents with hand written notations on them from the participants in the decisioins on terror. i wish that someone had asked him at whose instance did he do these things. my view is that he was paid. my view is that if someone will track down who paid his legal fees during his prosecution, and who may have been contributing to his financial support during this period, that it will go a long way in exposing the full extent of the conspiracy, and the conspirators.

i think it will lead to hillar and soros. i can not imagine him sullying himself for anybody less. as dick morris stated, he might have been secretary of state in a subsequent democratic administration. one does not throw one's self upon the sword, and sacrifice a career like that, for light and transient reasons, nor for insubstantial persons, persons who wield great power, influence, and financial temptations.

to mr. davis: thank you for your service to our country. and you are spot on in your remarks on clinton and the military, and you might have amplified your remarks as to his evisceration of the intelligence agencies. and, yes, doesn't he have fat, glistening cheeks, the mark of those who reside at the top of the food chain? i endorse your remarks in that regard wholeheartedly.

If you want to compress video files, there is a great free tool to do that called Virtual Dub:

Depending on the compression format you choose and the quality you want, you can get very large files compressed down into manageable sizes. I have compressed video files of over 250 meg down to less than 20 meg with no appreciable loss of quality using Virtual Dub.

It is very easy to use; simply 'File/Open' the file you want to compress, go to 'Video/Compress' and choose a format (DivX works very well), then 'File/Save As AVI' (choosing a different name from the original file). The compression process takes a while, but the results are great.
