9/11, Before and After
5 years 50 years...doesn't matter. For some of us, it is yesterday. It will always be that way.
tomorrow..............
tomorrow
Overwhelming ......................the war on Militant Islam continues.
Michael Ledeens killer piece over at PJM: 9/11
VICTOR DAVIS HANSON: IS THE WESTERN WAY OF WAR DEAD?
Eric over at Lifeboat writes me;
Look how the U.S. government celebrates the anniversary of 9/11: at this site, they have the recipe for the 1918 flu virus (50 million dead), smallpox
virus (400 million dead), plus polio, ebola, anthrax, bubonic plague,
etc.
So when, not if, Al Qaeda decides to make bioweapons, they can get the
recipes for free from the U.S. government...........
Wake up. Lifeboat is an extraordinay organization desperately in need of funds. Their objective is to save humanity. If you could, please make a donation. With the world basically ignoring Iran's development of nuclear weapons, and with virtually no effort being put into halting the spread of biological weapons, the world is becoming an increasingly dangerous place and few are noticing this fact.
I will be at here at the Hudson Institute all day.
The Hudson Institute Conference on 9/11 is called "The UN and Beyond: United Democratic Nations." More info here:
The list of speakers includes Ambassador John Bolton, Natan Sharansky, Senators Norm Coleman and Tom Coburn, Bill Bennett, Jed Babbin, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Claudia Rosett, Frank Luntz, Herb London, Anne Bayefksy and many others.
I will report all later.

Something everyone is ignoring about the 9/11 attack is the elephant in the living room: the total lack of progress of the twin towers' replacements.
Empty lots fill the tv screens across America.
It's been five years since the idiots flew the planes into the buildings, yet nothing has been done to replace them. Incessant squabbling over designs, rights, money, rights, money, rights, money, and more money. It will never end. At the rate things are going, I see an empty lot being the ultimate New York City monument to the episode.

clyde is right, let's get going.
Rebuild them NOW, exactly like they were, or better yet, build them higher and stronger.
That sends a message to Jihadists, we're rebuilding them EXACTLY as they were, only taller.
You can't stop us, we will STOP YOU!

Hey guys, there is one word that explains the delays, money leakage and frustration...P-O-L-I-T-I-C-I-A-N-S.

There's another word, it represents all those who are holding us back from rebuilding the towers due to political correctness and who are undermining our efforts to defeat, discourage, and destroy our ememy jihadists.
They are not just in the US, they are all around the world, they vote for people who want to blame America first and support and believe the Fifth Column.
They are L-I-B-E-R-A-L-S.

Hi Pamela - Many thanks for your great work. The Ledeen piece is excellent.

I'm going out on a limb to say this .... 5 years isn't too long for the planning, design, engineering, and development of five (at last count) buildings at the WTC site, including the the 130 Liberty Street Project (included demolition of damaged building). The 7WTC has been rebuilt and construction has begun on the Freedom Tower. Let's not forget all the citizen (hey this is New York) input into this project which included all the clamor about the Memorial.
When the WTC buildings were built many people complained about, or downright didn't like them. I happen to like the new designs for the Freedom Tower and other buildings on the WTC site.

On the day of the fifth anniversary of the 9-11 attack, Coalition forces score a high value target in Afghanistan. Gulbuddin Hekmatyar, the commander of Hezb-i-Islami and ally of al-Qaeda and the Taliban, has been captured during a joint U.S. and Afghan Army raid in “eastern Afghanistan.” Hekmatyar, contrary to his rhetoric gave up to the Coalition forces without a fight. Hekmatyar's arrest is said to be part of an 'ongoing operation.'
