Liberal Judge -- Jihad Loving Judge
The devastation of the Carter Presidency seems unending. Yes, we have Jimmuh to thank for a an Islamic Iran but his incompetence has other far reaching ramifications (as if losing the Shah and bungling the 1979 hostage crisis wasn't enough.) And Carter is still typifies an anti-US President - disgusting, even today - "The US and Israel Stand Alone."
The notoriously liberal judge that today struck down the wiretapping on terrorist program was, SHOCKA!, a Carter appointee.
In 1979, three years after she campaigned for Jimmy Carter's
presidential bid, Carter rewarded Taylor with a lifetime appointment to

A federal judge on Thursday ruled that the U.S. government's domestic eavesdropping program is unconstitutional and ordered it ended immediately.Attorney General Alberto Gonzales said the Bush Administration disagrees with the ruling and has appealed.
"We also believe very strongly that the program is lawful," he said in Washington, adding that the program is "reviewed periodically" by lawyers to determine its effectiveness and ensure lawfulness. (Watch Gonzales protect the American people and prove the constitutionality of the domestic spying program -- 1:50)
The administration instituted the program after the September 11, 2001, attacks on New York and Washington. It gives the National Security Administration authorization to secretly conduct wiretaps without a court order.
"The whole point is to detect and prevent terrorist attacks before they can be carried out," the statement said.

The American Civil Liberties Union, which filed the lawsuit in January, asked U.S. District Judge Anna Diggs Taylor to stop the White House from intercepting international phone calls and e-mails without a warrant in its fight against terrorism.
Several individuals and groups--including the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee, the Asian American Legal Defense and members of Congress--have filed briefs on the case.More here
In other rulings indicative of Diggs Taylor's leanings;
In 1984, Taylor banned nativity scenes on municipal property in Birmingham and Dearborn in ACLU lawsuits.
This is the modus operandi of the left. Blame America, blame the government, embrace our enemies, invoke freedom of speech to destroy the freedom of speech of others. The fifth column.
Judge Anna Diggs Taylor said the controversial practice of warrantless wiretapping known as the "Terrorist Surveillance Program" violated free speech rights, protections against unreasonable searches and the constitutional check on the power of the presidency.
People, remember this in November. 2006 and more importantly, 2008.
UPDATE: The fifth column rejoices;
CAIR WELCOMES RULING ON NSA WIRETAPS
Muslim plaintiff calls decision a 'victory for the Constitution'(WASHINGTON, D.C., 8/17/06) - The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) today welcomed a ruling by a federal judge in Michigan that the government's warrantless wiretapping program is unconstitutional.
UPDATE: Useful Idiots- Islam's Best Soldiers Amil Imani
Islam enjoys a large and influential ally among the non-Muslims: A new generation of “Useful Idiots,” that Lenin identified as those who lived in liberal democracies and furthered the work of communism. This new generation of Useful Idiots also lives in liberal democracies but serves the cause of Islamofascism—another virulent form of totalitarian ideology.
Useful Idiots are naïve, foolish, ignorant of facts, unrealistically idealistic, dreamers, willfully in denial or deceptive. They hail from the ranks of the chronically unhappy, the anarchists, the aspiring revolutionaries, the neurotics who are at war with life, the disaffected alienated from government, corporations, and just about any and all institutions of society. The Useful Idiot can be a billionaire, a movie star, an academe of renown, a politician, or from any other segment of the population.
Arguably, the most dangerous Useful Idiot is the “Politically Correct.” He is the master practitioner of euphemism, hedging, doubletalk, and outright deception.
The Useful Idiot derives satisfaction from being anti-establishment. He finds perverse gratification in aiding the forces that aim to dismantle an existing order, whatever it may be: an order he neither approves of nor he feels he belongs to.
The Useful Idiot is conflicted and dishonest. He fails to look inside himself and discover the causes of his own problems and unhappiness while he readily enlists himself in causes that validate his distorted perception.

A little about judge anna diggs taylors baggage.....her daddy was a crook.....this has been forgotten by many, and maybe it explains her anti-America ruling:
Charles C. Diggs, Jr.
Democrat, Michigan (1955-1980)
The Honorable Charles C. Diggs, Jr. was found guilty in 1978 for taking kickbacks from three of his congressional staffers; he was re-elected to office; then censured by the House, and finally resigned, then went to prison for 7 months.
Indicted of 11 counts of mail fraud and 18 counts of falsifying congressional payrolls. Prosecutors said he received $66,000 in kickbacks from 1973-1977 from several staffers, and used some of that money for his personal business and congressional expenses.
Guilty of: Diggs was found guilty of all 29 counts against him in October 1978, then the next month he was re-elected to his 13th term in Congress.
The Jailbird Count. Prison term: 7 months at minimum-security prison at Maxwell Air Force Base in Alabama. Diggs became a member of the Congressional Prison Caucus.
Congressional censure: In July 1979, the House of Representatives unanimously censured Diggs, after half an hour of floor discussion. No Member of Congress stood up to defend him. In a letter to his colleagues, Diggs admitted misuse of public funds for private use. He apologized to Congress and agreed to repay the House more than $45,000 and accept the censure. The fine would come out of his paycheck, at $500 a month. (A nice sweet deal: that means Diggs would have to stay in office another 7-1/2 years and have $500 deducted each month to pay restitution. But that didn't happen.)
Diggs also faced a $29,000 tax bill from the IRS for failing to pay income taxes on the payroll kickback money.
After having been found guilty, then disgraced by his colleagues in Congress, it still took Diggs another full year to resign from Congress, in June 1980. He probably waited until June so that he could still collect his Congressional salary and to wait the verdict of the U.S. Supreme Court. Diggs appealed to the Court to review his conviction; the Court let his conviction stand without comment.
Historical note: Only once before in the twentieth century had the House censured a member, and that was 60 years earlier in a case of a Texas Congressman who was punished for inserting objectionable material into the Congressional Record
The C.B.B. Spin
Diggs's excuse: The employees willingly gave him the kick-backs because he was in "very dire financial straits."

Today's Liberal ruling by a 'Jimma Koter' appointee from the late 70's has decided to become our security and judgement for the War On Terror, over and above our Commander and Chief, and is a 75 year old black judge who has a documented history of bending the rules to obtain the leftist result.
http://patterico.com/2006/08/17/5017/ideologue-leftist-judge-rules-nsa-program-unconstitutional/
It's a major head smack right now. But the typial 'knee jerk' reaction should not be taken here. We all *know* the Judge (in her case we can use the term loosely) has made a ruling that is definately politcal and in line with the nutrooters of this country along with the infamous Dem's on The Hill. You know their names. NOT TO FEAR HOWEVER. READ ON.
Orin Kerr has this to say over at Volokh:
The Fourth Amendment and the NSA Domestic Surveillance Opinion:
I've just read through the Fourth Amendment part of Judge Taylor's opinion on the NSA domestic wiretapping opinion, and, well, um, it's kind of hard to know what to make of it. There really isn't any analysis; rather, it's just a few pages of general ruminations about the Fourth Amendment (much of it incomplete and some of it simply incorrect) followed by the statement in passing that the program is "obviously" in violation of the Fourth Amendment.
REad the rest here.http://volokh.com/posts/1155854205.shtml
Mr. Volokh states:"...the judge's opinion in today's NSA eavesdropping case seems not just ill-reasoned, but rhetorically ill-conceived. A careful, thoughtful, detailed, studiously calm and impartial-seeming opinion might have swung some higher court judges (and indirectly some Justices, if it comes to that). A seemingly angry, almost partisan-sounding opinion ("[The orders] violate the Separation of Powers ordained by the very Constitution of which this President is a creature," emphasis added, thanks to a caller for pointing this out) is unlikely to sway the other judges — especially when the opinion is rich in generalities, platitudes ("There are no hereditary Kings in America and no powers not created by the Constitution"), and "obviously"'s, and poor in detailed discussion of some of the government's strongest arguments."
It is all VERY good Here:

In *principle* if anyone has been following another non-sensical argument of the Judicial Left and their minions is "Signing Statements." Many Presidents have used signing statements to make substantive legal, constitutional, or administrative pronouncements on the bill being signed. Although the recent practice of issuing signing statements to create "legislative history" remains controversial, the other uses of Presidential signing statements generally serve legitimate and defensible purposes. http://www.usdoj.gov/olc/signing.htm
Of course the wacadoo Left and ACLU minions have their own nuances on this, however, this is how "W" continues to get his Constitutional power accross:
"President Bush signed into law today H.R. 4, the “Pension Protection Act of 2006”. I am pleased to report that the White House gave the ABA’s foolish resolutions on signing statements the full weight they deserved: zero.

IMHO this pretty much describes how Judge Anna Diggs Taylors (an ideologue Carter-appointed judge who has a documented history of bending the rules to obtain the leftist result) decision will also be rendered: ZERO.

I find it interesting that ONE Federal judge can overturn the will of millions. Amazing. No one appoints them God, nor do they have the right to "make law". Only Congress can do that, according to the Constitution. When is someone going to remind the judiciary of that fact that tell them to stick their judgements up their ass? Ignoring this crap would be the best way to combat it, since these idiots cannot be removed from the bench without committing a felony, thus it would end the ceaseless "judge shopping" people like the ACLU engage in.
