I just came from the Levi Store on 14th St. in ny where they have a mannequin dressed with a Palestinian keffiyeh. Their spokesperson said t is a vintage scarf and that is why they chose it and its resemblance to the keffiyeh is purely coincidental.

I called the store and the corporate office. They had already taken it down when I called and are speaking with the District Manager for New York stores.

Levis corporate is into this shit. Anything liberal, that's them. They were one of the first companies to grant medical benefits to gay employees' partners in San Francisco, and led the fight to withhold funding of the Boy Scouts because the Scouts didn't want gay scout leaders taking herds of boys into the woods on weekends. They also charge %50 for a pair of straight-leg blue jeans on Michigan Avenue in Chicago, while you can get them for half that most anywhere else. Of course, I quit buying Levis years ago. There are lots of jeans out there for lots less money that last as long and don't come with the corporate bullshit package.

I am not suprised that Levi is supporting the enemy in the global fight against terrisim. Nor am I suprised that they support gay marriage and every other liberal cause. Several years ago I found out that Levi was a primary contributer of gun control, in my closit I found 4 pair of Levi jeans, 5 pair of dockers and a Levi suite. I have not purchased a Levi prodoct since. I was given a free Levi tshirt which I refused to ware but used it for a car rag.Keep up the good work.

Any person working as a clerk in a Levi's store is not exactly a rocket scientist. This one sounds like she is just stupid. Perfectly qualified for the job, I might add. Management material in that corporation.
