THe Press Secretary Called....
The Press secretary of the Embassy of Israel called to cancel my trip to Israel. They recommend that I not go to Israel. Apparently they have canceled all my interviews and war coverage. Ugh.

I was thinking about that, and the fact that it would be, to say the least, dangerous to go there now. Especially if you don't have a gun.
You weren't planning on joining the army were you?

- your vlog might well get interrupted by a falling rocket - we wouldn't want that

It has been noted by many that the state of Israel does not do Public Relations well.
This is another example of that.
WTF kind of sense does it make to be turning away sympathetic journalists at a time like this?
The pen is mightier than the sword. A person like you can do as much damage as a tank.

I agree with goesh.
pastorius: very good point. Right now, though, Israel has to kick Hizbollah's collective ass. Now is not a time to be soft.

Dear Lois,
Is there any truth to teh rumours that your vlogs are being broadcast from giant video screens & speakers placed at the border in order to impose extreme psychological damage on the enemy?
Regards,
Ellsworth

Zero results for: turning away sympathetic journalists at a time like this?
Did you mean to type pathetic journalists?

Pamela - I thought you WERE the press secretary of Israel!! You are on the net daily with better Hasbara than the Israelis are getting elsewhere.
Anyway, can you find and post the pictures of the UN (UNIFIL) in Lebanon hoisting the Hezbollah flag on the UN flagpole. I think that picture needs to be out there so that the "International UN Force" idea can be shown, by visual evidence, to be a stooopid idea.

That's about as bad as it gets, when even those you are supporting don't want you. Let me guess, it's all the left's fault.

I suspect that the press sec. saw her most recent vlog and thought better of it. It's one thing to have supporters, but supporters who have no common sense is another. The vlog was immature to say the least.
As for "danger", a recent article revealed that 200+ Americans - emigrants - were welcomed with open arms into Israel just yesterday. I believe a former P.M. of Israel spoke to them about their courage.
Atlas can't be so vain and self-centered not to understand that odd juxtaposition of events. Or could she?
There are many folks who espouse the ideas of the right, but the more mature right wingers are astute enough not to want those nut cases out in front.
Nonetheless, Atlas is to be commended for her steadfast support of Israel.
Finally, modesty has nothing to do with teetotalers or church-going folk. It comes with maturity. Atlas should leave her martini rants for the privacy of her home, close friends, and rented rooms at her favorite restaurant. Ann Coulter is one of my favorite commentators, but I doubt that you would see her pull an Atlas.
"Rock-on"!
