Hilarious. Great job, Atlas.
Can you imagine, with the US taking so many casualties everywhere -- Italy and the Pacific, especially -- for the NY Slimes to publish such material? I wonder if there would even be a trial -- just the sound of rifles firing in some lonely alley and a strangely placid NY Slimes afterwards.
But we know one reason the NY Slimes did not publish such information in WWII. Not that they cared about American lives but they were concerned about Stalin and the Soviets. Better to wait and betray America AFTER we had taken the pressure off their favorite Uncle.

That's classic.

The NY Times cannot keep a secret. They would rather help the enemy than see Bush get any positive news.
Rick Santorum finally got Intelligence Agencies to declassify the reports that prove we found over 500 WMD's and THE NEXT DAY, the 5th column printed the SWIFT program....
Coincedence? I don't think so...
Their motto should be "No positive news (for Bush) allowed"
"True or False, Secret or Not, if it hurts Bush, it leads"
They don't care about our Troops. They are driven to topple the president.
Bush Derangement Syndrome at work at the NY Slimes.

How can it be "Bush Derangement Syndrome at work at the NY Slimes", when it seems like they where up to the same treason like acts back in 1944?
They are self hating homo sapiens. nuff said

You do know it's a parody don't you izzy?

I found it earlier and it is now my desktop.
Unfortunately it looks pretty bad stretched, and the hat tip indicated it came from free republic. I could not find out if anyone had a better resolution.

pathetic...

Pathetic. I'm amazed we won WWII. I didn't realize the NY Times was reporting this treasonous stuff back then too.

Parody often contains an element of impossibility. In this case, it would be impossible for the paper Of Wreckage to print anything that would even remotely harm a Democratic Presiednt, especially one so dearly beloved by the Left.
Had a republican, or truman, been president...

am i the only one who thinks the NYT simply feels it is their TURN to topple a republican president? (journalism as sport!) too bad they picked the wrong administration to pick on this time. remember, morally we hold the higher ground and a good fight can take a good long time !

Pamela - Unfortunately, the jihadis are not as stupid as we would like them to be. They, like the Mafia and international tax cheats, don't have to read in the New York Times (or, as you should point out more clearly, The Wall Street Journal) that the US government is following the money trail. Although I no longer subscribe to the New York Times (haven't for about 6 years) because their editorial page leaks into the adjectives their reporters use on the front page, I still believe that we need the press to keep our elected officials honest and our republic a democracy. There's not much here we should be afraid to hear about and there's not much in these reports that would give aid, comfort or protection to a terrorist. We should be happy to have the debate out in the open and try to get the editorial page of the Times to explain why we shouldn't be tracking the terrorists' money trail. That seems like the obvious and prudent thing to do - the only ones who didn't know about it before were those who were following the law!
Also, when you jab at the Times, you should promote the alternative which is the very well written and edited New York Sun. It started out as the anti-Times and is my paper of record these days for everything from international to local to arts and leisure.
