Pali Hate Protest Against Israel NYC
On an otherwise beautiful New York afternoon, erev shabbat, Fourth of July weekend (the better to insure a low Jewish counter protest) Jew hating, America hating, freedom hating, rabble took to the street in front of the "Zionist Consulate" on 2nd Avenue, Yitzchak Rabin Way to spew their vile propaganda in a protest against Israel called by Al-Awda New York, the New York Chapter of the National Council of Arab-Americans, ANSWER, the International Action Center, and other organizations. They were joined by socialists, communists, assorted leftists and those for the liberation of Puerto Rico. I'd say there were, in total, less than 100 people in attendance.
They were an ugly (figuratively, actually literally too) group that preach hate, hate, and more hate.
I stood alone in the hate crowd when a fellow looked at my Little Green Footballs tee shirt and said "you're not with them" and I said "no, I'm not" he said "are you Atlas?" I said "yeah" and so I had my counter protesting bud - a strong vocal counter protester. When you click on the VLOGs, it's CJ's voice your hearing arguing and making sense (to no avail).
CJ tried to talk to them while they yelled and chanted - "boycott Israel," "Free Palestine," a woman with the most annoying piercing voice, that pitch that makes dog howl, blew out the bull horn - "from the river to the sea, no more Israel."
This guy would walk to the corner scream Jew hating screeds and return to the pack.
Get America out of Iraq, Afghanistan, Haiti, yada yada yada.
Watch the VLOG, the bald headed guy goes into apoplectic frenzy calling me a nazi because I said I loved Israel, that's CJ in the background calling him out. At the end of the tirade you'll see a gentleman in a green polo, that was CJ,who btw was the best.
They complained to the cops about us, they said we were not allowed to be there. I think they wanted us arrested just for being there. "Do not film us!" "No pictures!"
And the cops came over and were really very sweet. They asked us not to talk to them even in low voices. The cops did not want the crowd to get out of hand (they knew what they were dealing with).
It was whack jobs on parade. Nasty, bile spewing and me? I kept insisting the Jews were lovely, lovely people. Their platform was based on lies and more lies. Blood libel. The Gaza massacres - imagine. This current Gaza operation is the most humane, humanitarian military operation in human history. No casualties. Dropping leaflets. The epitaph of child murderer was even more absurd but then the whole thing was.
All this taking place under this street sign, poetic eh?
The lies and the liars that tell them.
Walking up 2nd Avenue, from the "Zionst Consulate" to the "Zionist Embassy" - oyve.
Repulsive
So they chanted. And for our "latino brothers and sisters, Free Puerto Rico!." No I'm serious.
"Out of Iraq, out of Palestine" The jihadis want it all.

That was fun!
What DA's!!!
Great post Atlas...

As you got to see today, while people on the "right" are able to focus on a single issue at hand whenever they get activist about something, the "left" likes to make a stew about everything under the sun. They have the focus of a Golden Retriever on speed. U.S. out of Haiti shares signboard space with U.S. out of Iraq and Israeli territory (forget calling it by the P word). I'd be surprised if you didn't see protestors asking to Free Mumia, Meat Is Murder, End Global Warming, etc. Plus, they can't articulate their position, since theirs is one that can't stand under the light of reason, so they shout slogans at you out of frustration.
I can only imagine the setup:
"Sally, we're going to a demonstration today."
"I'm out of signboards - whatever shall I do?"
"Just bring last week's. I'm bringing last month's. It doesn't matter. We're cool no matter what the sign says."
Look at this as a good experience - you got to see why these nutcases will never win the battle in the long run. They protest to protest, they've done no homework, and their position falls like a house of cards.
They want to look brave by taking on the system. If they wanted to be brave, they'd found a country of 10 million, and defend it from the surrounding 200 million who wanted every one of them killed.

All those people, all those signs, all those causes, and not one protesting the plight of Battered Halibut!

You have to ask yourself... what is all this venom, foulness, deception? Where does it come from? I personally think it spiritual battle being waged and manifests itself in willing humans. That is why there is such hatred for anything Jewish, Zionist or Christian... and anything or anyone connected or supportive of it. Over the centuries it has bubbled to the surface again and again. When viewed in this context... all of this craziness that is now happening around the world makes perfect sense.
It will eventually culminate in ALL the nations coming against Israel. The Bible said it will happen and it is a very frightening future. You are seeing it fulfilled before your very eyes on a daily basis.
Read Psalm 2...
Peace :^)

The only thing missing is hairy armpitted women, but something tells me they're there, the same as in all the protests in Berkeley and San Francisco. Also missing is the classic "Breasts not bombs" signs, with topless women holding them up, like they do in San Francisco. That is a slogan for the ages. Makes absolutely NO sense, but making sense has never been a qualifying standard for any protest.

After watching the videos, I noticed several bitches and moans were left out of the chants:
"No More Leather For Shoe Soles" (Save the cows)
"No More Anything" (Save everything)
"No to good looking women" (a staple at every protest I've ever seen) (another reason you weren't welcomed, Atlas)
You should have asked these idiots one question: can they visualize Palestine as one large Israeli tank parking lot? I can.

Kudos to Pamela (Atlas) for helping stage a counter protest!

I wish I cudda been there with ya! Atlas' Army was on da job!
MAN, to immerse yourselves into all THAT.... musta felt like someone had given you "crazy pills!!"... A true living breathing madhouse.. (twilight zone music wudda been going off in my head the whole time...)
It was motivating to see you in there standing strong as the voice of sanity and reason and a big BIG "BZ" to CJ for being a strong wing man. Kudos Brother CJ!!
You had to feel like you needed some de-tox and rehab after that experience...

mts - LOL! great stuff. Did you notice the photo of the guy in a green shirt holding the "Bring the Troops Home Now" sign? He needs some support... a manssiere.

what babe you are atlas. *wow*
(wakes up out of swooning dribbling gawk)
oh right - the protest.
yeah - what these nutjobs dont realise is that if you did a pro-israel protest in Gaza, you'd be dead in about 30 seconds.
but i have no objections to them protesting - thats called freedom - even if i find their attitudes reprehensible and nauseating.
the other aspect is that atlas wasnt arrested - in Britain, you would be - for "breach of the peace"
Aint America just great?

That ditsy older blonde looked so familiar. She sems to show up at every rally that is anti-American. There is no American initiative she supports. I would bet that she will tell you that she is for progressive policies. I would love to hear what she considers "progressive policies."

From The Australian:
"[Gaza] Residents complain that sonic booms caused by Israeli jets traumatise children and that shelling confines families to their homes."
Obviously, they don't want their kids to be so traumatized that they cannot become suicide bombers.

1. How can you free a nation that never existed in the first place? The Arab Muslims had a chance for a nation and blew it by being greedy. End of story.
2. Where was the NYC branch of Protest Warriors in this whole matter? I'm suprised they didn't come out full force.
Posted by: EJ | Saturday, July 01, 2006 at 10:38 AM
Atlas, wouldn't you agree that destroying civilian infrastructure like power stations and roads in Gaza is wrong? If the shoe were on the other foot, if Israelis were crammed into the Gaza strip and it were Palestinian rockets which had turned off all the lights, drinking water and waste water facilities, wouldn't you agree that it's wrong?
Posted by: Eoin Dubsky | Saturday, July 01, 2006 at 10:44 AM
NO, not for a moment. Israel built that grid. Israel gave them that grid.
And since the moment Israel gave up Gaza there has been a hail of rockets into Sderot. Schools, homes are the target. And still Israel did nothing. The Palestinian soldiers spent weeks digging a tunnel to kidnap Israeli soldiers.
The Paliestinians chose war. These are acts of war. ACTS OF WAR by an elected government. You can not attack a sovereign nation and then whine when they respond.
I think Israel is being quite kind. Amazingly so. Extraordinary effort not to kill anybody during a military operation.
Your thinking is inverted.

Look at the bright side, at least they didn't follow Cindy Sheehan in demanding we get out of New Orleans too.

Great job, Pamela! It was so much fun watching that nutjob lose it, I had to watch it over a couple of times just for the sheer pleasure.
And that lgf shirt looks way cool... I'll have to get one of them one day soon (although I won't look as good in it as you).

Really good work Atlas. It's wonderful for those of us in flyover country to get first hand reports revealing the deeply disturbed nature of the left. It goes without saying that traditional media would never report on this stuff without it being sanitized.
Thank you for all you do.
dung.
PS. Zombie would be proud!
PPS. Yeah, baby!

Very frightening future???
Ah, but in the end we (Israel) win and "ALL the nations" lose. In fact, it will turn out to be not all that much of a fight.
And then we will really get to see what the lion lying down with the lamb and swords being turned into plows means!!

Don't you just know the left is allowed to say just about any thing they want(free speach you know)but just try to debate their positions, they place their fingers in their ears and shout down any who would dare try free speach wich only belongs to them, and do also notice that CJ could probably crushed the little weasel, but fortunatly we aren't made of the same crap and bile that they are.You and CJ showed more guts thank you.

Here's a sign for the leftard wackozoids to bring next time, together with all the others:
"U.S. OUT OF AMERICA".

I love that "Enforce UN Resolutions" sign, that's classic, but it should say "Enforce Only Certain UN Resolutions".

Awesome, Atlas. The feckless loudmouth who got in between you and the camera, besides looking like he had a nasty case of halitosis, really epitomizes the lefty ranters who populate these protests.
They are, by definition, pissed off people, and it shows. They must really believe everyone hates Israel and the U.S. just like they do.

Pam
If people are going to excersize their right to free speech we have a right to record it. I recognize several of the faces from the Union Square anti Israel nonesense. I will be back in NYC soon waging my own war on these idiots in Union Square. They just love when you read excerpts from the black book of Communism.
Keep your eye out for a German man in his sixties named Andy who has an Elmer Fudd like obsession with Jews. If you see him ask him if anyone calls him Elmer Fudd. He gets upset at that name. He was livid when I did my impersination of Fudd and said" I hate those wascaly Zionist neocon Jewish weepublican Wabbits".

Hey Beaker, are you trying to tell me the baldhead loon in the VLOG screaming nazi zionist fascist is not the guy you refer to?
Well then he must have a twin

"Israel built that grid. Israel gave them that grid."
Norway built that power station.
American taxpayers financed it.
Silly Israelis -- you couldn't stand on your own two feet if you took the heels off!
Posted by: | Sunday, July 02, 2006 at 10:02 AM
And what about those civilian deaths -- babies, women, ordinary beachgoers -- that preceeded the legitimate kidnapping of a military soldier?
Get your facts straight, lady.
Posted by: | Sunday, July 02, 2006 at 10:04 AM
The "beach goers" were not killed by Israel. Simply another pallywood creation. You get *your* facts straight.

What gets me is the reasons and analogies these idiots use. If they told the truth, they would have no choice but be Zionists.
