Muslims Terrorizing Muslims in Jerusalem
I spent the morning in East Jerusalem which is mostly Arab. The differences between the Jewish areas and the Arab areas is to break your heart. It is inexplicable to me why the Arabs would live in such abject squalor, throwing their garbage in the streets when they could all work together with the Jews for a far better life. But Jihad Islam will never let that happen. FACT. You can immediately tell what part of Jerusalem you are in, in a nanosecond, with a mere glimpse of your surroundings. The women, young and old, wore the burka and in many cases the chador in the hot summer heat.
Watch this video. I am sorry for the wind. Muhammad is saying that all the Arab stores were forced to close today to "strike" against the Israei acts of self defense in Lebanon. It made no sense to me as this hurts the shopowners and the Arab customer. But the Arab Muslim shop owners are threatened, their shops destroyed if they do not close. And who suffers? The Arabs......... the Jews don't buy halal.
I had this encounter with an Arab Muslim when viewing the top of Mount Olive. Mount Olive, the oldest Jewish cemetary in the world on Mount Olive. 68,000 Jews are buried there. (shown below)
The tragedy of Israel is the constant state of seige the Israelis live under. Going to meet Ari, an old LGF pal, at a small
cafe for lunch, I went though security check and iron doors. The level of security at every level of everyday life is staggering. Americans have no cluea dn the world is blackhearted to the what this country is enduring.
Checking my bag to have a simple salad.
There can be no cease fire. These people, their children are fighting for the lives, and the lives of this great nation. The miracle of Israel, IMAO, is that warriors could create such a magnificent jewel of a nation in such a malevolent cesspool. Everything in Israel is constructed, erected with such beauty, detail, respect and intelligence. All under constant threat. But this fight is different. It is existential. The thought of "peace," no longer is in the the Israeli delusional wishlist. They know now that after giving back Gaza and withdrawing from Lebanon they gave the enemy unprecedented access. This is why while the consensus in Israel is unified to fight Hezb'Allah, there is a mood of complete sadness. They are letting go of something their enemy would never allow - peace. If withdrawing from Gaza and Lebanon did not bring peace, BOTHING WILL BRING PEACE.
More signs of the tragic toll on Israeli daly life at an art gallery.
Later in the day I had the enormous pleasure of joining Rabbi David Wolpe on a walk to the wall to prayer. Check out our security just to walk to the wall.
More security at the Wall.
Rabbi Wolpe. What a Rabbi! If all of our shuls had a Wolpe, American Jewry would not be so disconnected, disaffected. In describing the Wall, the Rabbi said paraphrasing, there are people with hearts of stone and stones with the hearts of people (alluding to the centuries of Jews who have come here to pray and pour their hearts out.)
CNN screaming all day for a HUDNA so that the jihadis can rearm. Sick, sick, sick. Why? For access as they did by covering for Saddams heinous acts of barbarism? These CNN dhimmis will be the first ones getting their pretty little heads chopped off if the savages they are supporting should win. A CEASEFIRE IS A DEATH SENTENCE FOR iSRAEL.
"JEWS LOSE NO MATTER WHAT " so said a Lebanese Shia in a letter to the editor of the Berlin left-wing daily Die Tageszeitung (TAZ) explains how after Israel's withdrawal from South Lebanon, Hezbollah stored rockets in bunkers in his town and built a school and residence over it. hat tip Naomi Ragen
Hezbollywood? Evidence mounts that Qana collapse and deaths were staged
Just getting back and I have much to tell but running to a dinner I was graciously invited to by the most generous Rich R. with Rabbi David Wolpe and friends of the IDF. But I wanted to load this video of Muhammad. I didn't realize the audio was imperfect or I would have redid it. Mujammad was a powerful albeit quiet speaker for his people.
Early tomorrow morning I will be joining Rabbi Wolpe's mission with the Friends of the IDF on a journey to the North. We will be visiting with beseiged families, bereaved families , and wounded IDF soldiers in the hospital Thank you and Gd bless you Rich.
UPDATE: Check out Rich's post here

I see you were at cafit on Emek.

Hello Atlas and welcome to Israel. I am sure you have it on your itinerary, but in case you don't already you are cordially invited to the Shomron! I'd love to show you my yishuv - my only caveat is no pictures of me or my kids - I want to stay somewhat anonymous. But I can guarantee you stunning pictures of the Tel-Aviv coast from our little place in the mountains.

As I was walking past Time Warner building this morning I came upon a CNN reporter who was interviewing people about jogging in the heat. He started to ask me a question when I asked him 'so you work for Crescent News Network?' His response "Is that what you think of us?' I said yes knodding my head as I walked away.
It felt great speaking truthiness to dumbfounded tools for ignorant propagandists.

Project to unite Jews around the world pray at the same time 12:00 noon today
Government Press Office Announcement
(Communicated by Ashkenazi Chief Rabbi Yona Metzger's Office)
Ashkenazi Chief Rabbi Yona Metzger (http://tinyurl.com/bba24) has initiated a global project designed to unite approximately 1,000,000 Jews around the world to pray at the same time today, (19:00 Israel time on August 1,.06) (12 noon local time , via the internet. Rabbi Metzger has composed the special prayer for well-being and safe return of abducted soldiers Gilad Shalit, Eldad Regev and Ehud Goldwasser. There is also prayer for the well-being of IDF soldiers and for the recovery of those who have been wounded.
An interactive website (http://www.tfila.org.il/ ) (click the right hand for hebrew, the left hand for english) has been set up, in both Hebrew and English, in which people may add their names to the project. The site includes - inter alia - the texts of the aforementioned prayers, a message from Chief Rabbi Metzger and an interactive 'chain of hands' graphic with the names of those who have agreed to join the project.
May God protect us all.

Message from Rabbi Yona Metzger: To our Brothers, sons of Israel in the Diaspora,
These days, when we are “between the straitsâ€, and in these desperate hours, our brothers Sons of Israel in the State of Israel face hard and murderous times from our enemies and those who are up to destroy us.
While in the battle front our brave soldiers in the Israeli Defense Forces risk their lives in the air and sea to repel those who turn upon us, and defend our people and the cities in Israel.
I call upon our Jewish brothers in the Diaspora, wherever they are, to pray for the well-being of our soldiers and their success this Tuesday at 19:00 (Israel time), for the recovery of the wounded, and the return of the captives to the loving arms of their families all safe and sound.

Atlas blogged:"It is inexplicable to me why the Arabs would live in such abject squalor..."
Never been to an Arab or Muslim country but seen some 3rd world countries in the Western hemispere. It's amazing how easy it is to offend people who display a disregard for the quality (or lack of) of their living standards.
In Israel, the local Arabs can see that their own quality of life would be improved by simply cleaning up. With that example close at hand it's harder to explain why they would continue to live that way.
O.T.
In video coverage of rioting at U.N. offices in Beirut on Sunday, I saw a large red flag with the yellow hammer and sickle of the USSR being waved furiously. Anybody know what that's about?

What a great blog! It's wonderful to see real factual information issuing from Israel itself. I have written about you in my newest post. It is beyond imperative that the blogosphere and those in the US clearly understand the stakes in this fight.

Moronic propaganda.
Sad.

Actually, I think this blog is beyond *moronic*.
Wonder why she didn't go to the West Bank, Gaza and Lebanon to see the other side of the story.
This is just a racist hate site of the same calibre as Aryan Nation or the KKK, just with a different target. Sick, twisted and stupid.
Free speech has limits.
