FREE GILAD NOW! NY RALLY!
Israel to Fight Until Soldier's Release
Israel will continue its military offensive in the Gaza Strip at its own pace until Palestinian militants release a captured Israeli soldier and halt their rocket attacks, Prime Minister Olmert told the cabinet on Sunday. Releasing prisoners to Hamas in response to a kidnapping would damage Palestinian moderates and reward extremism, he said. (New York Times)
It was something to see. An incredibly beautiful scene.
Roughly a thousand people (to my eye at the height.) Young (alot), old all walks of life. My only issue was the co-opting of this rally by the Democrats. Clearly Israel is a non-partisan issue. Either support civilized men or you support savages. But it was Democrats on parade and when a member of the RNC asked oif they were would announce the rally to protest The New York Times pro-terror policies later today, they were categoriccally denied. No way would they say or do anything against the Democrats PR machine - The New York Slime.

THE VLOGS:
Mort Zuckerman, Publisher of The New York Daily News spoke
Our worst enemies come from our womb, wolves in Jewish clothing, but the women take them on. THIS IS THE WORST OF THE VLOGS. The self loathing Jews show up at every pro-Israel, Pro Pali rally, every one. They sicken me.
Sheldon Silver, the worst of the worst, funny that the cop and I both shared the sentiment eh?
Joy
Love that

Excellent coverage Pamela, no, I don't expect to see this in msm, unfortunately. I wonder, though, how many will notice, how many would admit that those in opposition, no matter how abhorent their position, were still allowed to voice their opinion? Only, only in a free society can this happen. Do people realize that if we are not successful, that that freedom will be gone. That those of opposing views will not be heard, or allowed to be heard? They would, no doubt, disappear if this were iran or syria, or too many other places. How many realize ? How many noticed ?

This is great, Pamela! I was wondering how it would go today, and am very glad to see that so many showed up. Sad, however, that a lefty protest with a couple dozen people gets more press than this one (or the one at the NYT) ever will.
We have self-loathing Jews, we have self-loathing Christians. Why the heck don't we ever get self-loathing muslims? We could use a few of those.

It looks like Gerry Nadler lost a ton of weight. Good for him.

LMFAO. "Anti Semites"? You mean the ones holding the signs that say "Torah forbids a Jewish State"? The ones that strangely resemble Orthodox Jews?
You and your free press-hating followers are so ignorant and so, so wrong on every issue.. It's amazing...

Zionism has spent the past century strategically dispossessing the Palestinian people. It has ignored their just claims and subjected them to persecution, torture and death.
Judaism is the belief in revelation at Sinai. It is the belief that exile is a punishment for Jewish sins.
Zionism has for over a century denied Sinaitic revelation. It believes that Jewish exile can be ended by military aggression.
The so-called "State of Israel" stands rejected on religious grounds by the Torah. Its monstrous insensitivity to the laws of basic decency and fairness appall all men be they Jewish or not.
Zionism is not compatible with Judaism, and the state of Israel is the physical manifestation of Zionism.

I really liked the "Give OUR Soldier Back" sign. Confused loyalties much? New York is still part of the United States of America. Israel is not. You call us on the left disloyal, yet you are more than happy to send a buch of Americans to fight and die on behalf of a country that treats us with contempt.
