Dhimmi Chirac Rolls Over to Terror
Watching Jacques Chirac squirm and tic while admonishing Israel today was painful. A fool is he. Does Chirac really believe that by kowtowing, by toeing the terrorists' mantra will spare him riots, burned cars, women beaten and raped? He is a sad case and sadly mistaken. His weakness invites terror. His weakness invites scorn. His weakness is surrender.
Is this how France chooses to stays relevant? To be the mouthpiece for murderers? The opponent of freedom? France is relegating itself to the dustbin of history.
French President Jacques Chirac castigated Israel for its military offensive in Lebanon on Friday, calling it "totally disproportionate," while he and other European leaders expressed fears of a widening Middle East conflict that could spiral out of control.
Referring to Israel's attacks Friday on Lebanon's international airport and other transport links, the latest in a three-day offensive, Chirac asked aloud whether Lebanon's destruction was not the ultimate goal.
"One could ask if today there is not a sort of will to destroy Lebanon, its equipment, its roads, its communication," Chirac said during an interview in the garden of the presidential Elysee Palace to mark Bastille Day, the French national holiday. More here
One could ask you, clown boy, if dhimmitude and capitulation has destroyed the social fabric of your "once great" nation? Israel has no choice. Israel has no choice. What is it that free nations do not understand?

If Israel intended to destroy Lebanon, it wouldn't be so selective in its targets. Hundreds of thousands would be dead, not just hundreds. The control tower of the Beirut Airport would be levelled, not just the tarmacs and the fuel tanks. I thought the French were supposed to be famous for making fine distinctions and understanding the nuance of everything from the taste of food and wine to the points unstated in diplomatic communiques. How come Shi@rack is so dunderheaded and blunt on this issue?

I really have found your blog to be interesting, inspiring and very relevant given the current situation the world finds itself in...and you're just so RIGHT. :)
I watched a documentary on television last night which revolved around the French resistance to the Nazis in WWII and I kept thinking to myself, "What HAPPENED to these kind of French people? Where in God's name are they?"
The sooner folks wake up and realize that this is war and the only end can be victory, the better off we're all going to be.

Pamela wrote, "France is relegating itself to the dustbin of history."
This is only the second time I can remember that I have disagreed with Pamela. She should have written, "France HAS RELEGATED itself to the dustbin of history."
