I love the guy too, Atlas. But, could you ask him, next time you interview him, why he refers to rocket attacks by Hizbollah as "acts of terrorism"?
Come on, Hizbollah is the Lebanese government, and therefore, they are the Lebanese military. It doesn't matter if there are factions within the government who don't agree with Hizbollah.
If it is the case that Lebanon has a faction of their government who is carrying on a military campaign that the rest of the government does not agree with, then Lebanon is a completely failed state and is, therefore, a danger to the world for that reason.
I am very tired of the word terrorism.
It's a bullshit word.
This is all war by Islamofascists on the rest of the world.
It's war. That's it.

Good point, Pastorius. But I'm not sure Israel's goals would be advanced by declaring war on Lebanon and occupying Beirut. They'd still have to clean out the south and the Bekaa valley, which is exactly what they have to do now. The tactical situation wouldn't be any different. On the Hamas topic, I'm amazed how little comment there is on the continuing Israeli detention of Hamas Palestinian cabinet members. They need to figure out something to do with them, like hanging them one by one until the soldiers are returned.

Gee, Pastorius, don't you know that Islam is the religion of peace (or is it pieces after suicide bombings). To get the world to understand the true nature of this conflict we have to give up the silly notion that there are peaceful moslems, that there are moslems that can really live with Jews and non-moslems without plotting for an opportunity to do them harm and/or subjugate them, that there are moslems that can live with democratic governments without intent to convert them to Sharia at the first opportunity.
