Semper Fi, Marine! Your core values - Honor, Courage, Commitment - are brightly shining. Thanks for your note.

My heart goes out to this brave American. Semper Fi indeed. It does my soul good to know that we still have men (and women) who are willing to stand up, speak the truth, put themselves in harms way in order to protect not only America but the rest of the free world fromt he scourge of Islam.

Stand with Israel indeed! I stand foresquare with this hero and all others willing to guard humanity from barbaric, 7th century goat f--kers!

p.s. He is 100% correct regarding his assesement of the situation in Somalia.

God Bless this Marine. GOD BLESS HIM.

It's not just Somalia. Watch central Africa as a major target of the spread of Islam.

G-d bless and Semper Fi from Jerusalem.

We must all pray daily for this Marine and his comrades, and spread his message to all.

I think most Americans instinctively tend to support Israel. The anti-Israel sentiment that does exist originates largely with "progressives" on university faculties, as amplified and transmitted by various writers, entertainers, and self-defined intellectuals.

Leftists have often claimed that the support of Israel by Evangelicals is due to theology. This may have a little truth, but not much--the main reason the Evangelicals support Israel, IMNSHO, is that they are mostly outside the force field of opinions centering on academia.

This Marine has more common sense in his little finger than most of our elected officials have in their whole bodies. His letter was inspiring and perfectly describes how TRUE Patriots feel about Israel. Their battle is our battle, and vice-versa. We're so indebted to all our Marines, Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Guardsman.

God Bless our Troops (and Israel's too) and give them the power, courage, and wit to destroy all the terrorists, especially Bin Laden.

Thank you Marine!

  • "I would give the greatest sunset in the world for one sight of New York's skyline. Particularly when one can't see the details. Just the shapes. The shapes and the thought that made them. The sky over New York and the will of man made visible. What other religion do we need? And then people tell me about pilgrimages to some dank pesthole in a jungle where they go to do homage to a crumbling temple, to a leering stone monster with a pot belly, created by some leprous savage. Is it beauty and genius they want to see? Do they seek a sense of the sublime? Let them come to New York, stand on the shore of the Hudson, look and kneel. When I see the city from my window - no, I don't feel how small I am - but I feel that if a war came to threaten this, I would throw myself into space, over the city, and protect these buildings with my body."
    Ayn Rand
