Daniel Wultz has Died, American Victim of Islamic Terror
No, it is not mother's day after all. I am sick sick sick. Debbie Schussel just gave me the tragic news. Daniel Wultz has died. He died. We all thought he was going to make it here after that terrible suicide murder bombing in Tel Aviv;
Last week, we wrote about Daniel Wultz, an American teen-age boy from Miami, who was a victim of the Palestinian homicide bombing of a Tel Aviv restaurant and bus station, during Passover, on April 17th.
Miraculously, though losing massive amounts of blood, suffering massive internal injuries, losing a kidney, his spleen, and a leg, Danny survived and awoke from his coma. But the pain of his injuries was too great for the 16-year-old who wanted to become a rabbi, and Danny was put back into a coma.
Sadly, this morning, Danny died. He is the eleventh fatal victim of that Passover homicide bombing perpetrated by Islamic Jihad and Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, and one of many unsung American victims of Palestinian Islamic terror. As we noted, unlike Jill "Zeinab" Carroll, there was very little news or blog coverage of the story of Danny Wultz. As Americans, we should be outraged at the treatment of our fellow American, both by the Palestinians and by our media.

Danny's father Yekutiel (Tuly) was also injured in the bombing, where he and his son lunched together at Mayor's Falafel, a kosher for Passover restaurant. He is quoted in The Jerusalem Post:
"Unfortunately, I remember everything," he said. "Daniel was thrown into my hands, and asked me to pick him up. But when I saw the extent of his injuries, I laid him down to wait for an ambulance. I held his hand and told him I loved him, and he told me he loved me." Go over to Debbie's site and read it all.

UPDATE: This is an outrage;
UPDATE: Jihad official: Florida teen 'ideal target'
Terror leaders rejoice in injuries of U.S.-born Daniel Wultz, critical after Tel Aviv bombing. 'He is best target combination – American and Zionist,' Islamic Jihad official says Aaron Klein
Abu Ayman, a leader of the Islamic Jihad, which also took responsibility for the April 17 bombing in which Wultz was injured, threatened all Americans and Jews worldwide and expressed regret Wultz is still alive. hat tip Geoff
Yeah, go soft on these savages and they will tear you limb from limb. Get real.

I don't know what to say... Grief, raging hatred, complete and utter sadness all flow through me simultaneously.
Every single human being, regardless of political stripe or religious affiliation, who has a beating heart should be completely and totally enraged by this. Stand UP, be counted. Until that day, we are all lost.

Get a grip. Ya' enter a war-zone, ya' take yer chances. It's dreadful, it's tragic, but it's inevitable.
Grieve. It's a terrible loss of a young person by a deranged member of a death cult.
"Raging hatred". That won't serve you or anyone else well. Now I'm not sayin' forgive and I'm definately not sayin' forget, but rage and hatred will only eat you alive.
Suggestion. Get a gun and permit and spend some time on the range. Learn some things that will empower you. Quitcher seething--that's what the ROP does when it sees the Wicked Cartoons of Blasphemy. (actually, I think if you make them stare at those cartoons long enough their heads will explode like at the end of "MARS ATTACKS").
"Until that day, we are all lost." How dramatic. Jack, I ain't lost and you don't need to be, either.
American Jews, Israeli Jews, and Christians in the Holy Land (or Egypt, for that matter) have no special license to pull out a 'get out of being murdered' card when some poor misled kid straps a bomb and visits a bus station. It's been a fact of life in Israel for some time now.
Now, here's something to consider: do you want Danny to be remembered as just another victim of pali violence, or do you want to celebrate what this young man lived for? His family and friends can carry the weight of true grief. You, my friend, and I must simply carry on.
turn (the other cheek)

War zone my ass. Murdering civilian strangers who have done you know hard strikes me as murder, not "war." As for turning the other cheek, I suggest making the Palestinian monsters pay dearly for their shit religion and gutter culture. "Turning the other cheek" has done absolutely nothing to deter Muslim murderers; however, reprisal strikes and a big fence have done a lot. Let's up the ante on these bastards: execute their parents and raise their younger siblings as orthodox Jews. Feed the bomber's remains to hogs and send link sausage as a gift to the local Imam.
Danny was only another Jew to die in a long line of victims; he wasn't the first and he won't be the last, but we can at least make the bastards pay dearly for their evil.

I can't type. I meant to say "who have done you no harm" not "done you know hard."

turn - couldn't disagree more, too preachy, save it.
stogie - great message.
Today we all grieve for Danielle Wultz and cry with his family.

You've every right to feel as you do and write about it. But ask an Israeli if 'war-zone' is an appropriate description of the state of everyday life in Israel. You might be surprised by the answer.
Mistake after mistake has been made and the latest serious one by PM Olmert with the idea of dividing even Jerusalem. Israel needs a PM like Ben Netenyahu.
IMHO peaceful Palestinians have every right to a home--just not within the the 1967 borders of Israel (and preferably far out of rocket and missile range. Actually, if we could just get them to be the first folks to emigrate off-planet...). Murderous palis, like all other murderers, abrogate their contract to live amongst the rest of us and need to be put down like the dogs they are. And the reprisal strikes are great to hear about. (an example of my exhortation to take heart).
Now if you're gonna send sausages, we cooked all the bratwurst (made from veal btw) at our Mother's Day get-together this afternoon, so send some here.
And I read right thru your typo understanding your meaning perfectly.

an honest mistake. sarcasm not necessary.
God bless Daniel and his grieving family.

I am a member of the temple Tuly goes to and I have seen a definete change in his life. He is happy now. He gives out candy to younger kids. But what drived me insane are the people on the news who are either rubbing their hands in glee at their ratings bar or delivering a touching report one day and then goes on to complain about gas prices. Fuck the gas. Fuck the oil. This is an innocent human life, and I find it said that a high-schooler that went to his school but didn't even know Daniel is more concerned them the people on location reporting it.
God keep Daniel's soul and family safe to enjoy a great bounty in the world to come.
