Atlas Interviews ANDREW BOSTOM: "Muhhammad is the Prototype Jihadist"
First, view the video of Andrew Bostom on O'Reilly here going toe to toe against a member of the Muslim Council of Islamic Affairs on last night's show. Then listen to my interview with Andrew Bostom, author of The Legacy of Jihad, we just hung up the phone.
Much thanks to Brian. He just transferred file to MP3- -- if anyone wants the digital version, write me.

Here's lunch (and dinner) kids.................Bostom is wildly brilliant and yet, very regular. Rare. Bolton has that quality too.
Interviewing Andrew Bostom validates every diabolical concern I have with the RoPMA, and makes America's delusion and denial all the more devastating. Oh and BTW, Bostom hates that bullshit religion of peace nonsense too. Ridiculous.
Here is a man, a professor of medicine at Brown, that has made the study of Islam and Jihad a life's work. A life's work...........the depth and breadth of his knowledge makes ominous the prospect of a peaceful, diplomatic solution. In a word, impossible.
Bostom's book makes mincemeat out of the whole argument that Radical extremism is merely one interpretation of the Koran. Jihad does come out of many verses of the Koran.
"Chapter 9 is a series of war proclamations. And those war proclamations are not against long extinct people. They are against Jews, Christians, Pagans (Hindus, Buddhists, Animists ie those in Sudan.)
Take Muhammad's behavior. Muhammad is the prototype Jihadist. Muhammad evolved from a proselytizer to a warrior. He is the "perfect Muslim man." He waged 70 odd Jihad campaigns. Almost all of them targeting specific populations on the Arabian peninsula.......Christians, Jews, Pagans........this became the normative model.
Many of today's leaders of Islam link Muhhammad to terrorism ..........to Jihad. For example Sheikh Qaradawi who has with an enormous audience he reaches on al-Jizz, recently did a 2 hour sermon on The Prophet Muhammad as a Jihad man. The prophet Muhammad is the perfect Jihad model.
There is no "greater spiritual Jihad" as many point to as an alternative interpretation of jihad. Many have gone-- including Islamic scholar Reuben Firestone -- in search of such a reference - to a Spiritual Jihad - in the Koran and it is not to be found. There exists no such hadith. This supposed saying can not be found.
It gets worse........
We covered a lot of ground. From Bosnia to Bernard Lewis.Nor did he gloss over Clinton's shallow understanding of the Serbian/Kosovo conflict. "The Serbs suffered 500 years under Muslim rule." We bombed the wrong people and they were shocked when we bombed them.
Bostom strongly advises we read the book Defeating Jihad:How the War on Terrorism Can Be Won - in Spite of Ourselves by
Serge Trifkovoc. Trifkovic identifies with precision the existential threat to both
Western and other modern democracies--global Islamic terrorism, as
perpetrated by Muslims following the uniquely Islamic dogmas and
historical practices of jihad.
Bostom reveres Wafa Sultan, Ayaan Hirsi Ali and holds these courageous heroes up as the antidote, the possible cure for the gangrene that infects the Muslim world. I hold no such hope.He calls Hirsi Ali;
"compelling, articulate and incredibly courageous. Charles Johnson was blogging just about every speech of hers. She has a new book* that I just grabbed yesterday. She makes very clear that the problem is Islam itself. That shouldn't be a terrible thing to say. Islam needs to undo a lot of its institutions, you know the kind of thing that [CAIR and the Muslim Council of Islamic Relations] deny even exist ....like the Jihad, like the imposition of Islamic law, like the brutalization of women, that's all sanctioned by sharia. Like the whole notion that no Muslim society can be ruled by anything other than sharia law".
We leave our children a terrible, awful world. We must stop buying into the hudnas-- temporary calm until they get their act together to "kick the shit of us."
And Bostom thinks like me, we gotta take those nuclear installations in Iran. Bah dah bing, bad dah boom.
*Ayaan Hirsi Ali's new book: The Caged Virgin : An Emancipation Proclamation for Women and Islam
UPDATE Here is a powerful example of why ALL Americans must learn about jihad doctrine--:
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said here Thursday that his letter to President George W. Bush did not concern the nuclear dossier, but rather was an invitation to Islam and the prophets culture. Article here.

Pamela et al,
I will convert your wav to a much smaller mp3 soon. Its taking a while to download, however.

=== ...Ahmadinejad said...letter to...Bush...invitation to Islam...and the prophets culture. ===
Someone should inform Juan Cole of this before he makes a fool of himself again by trying to parse Ahma-puke's words into something less confrontational. Sure Hitchens would be happy to clean Cole's clock again, though.
Curious -- If President Bush decides to accept Ahma-puke's kind offer to accept "the prophets culture," does that mean we start issuing scimitars and ski masks to our front lines?

I just heard the conversation between Pamela (Atlas) and Dr. Bostom. He confirmed for the the suspicions I had about Bernard Lewis and his whitewashing of the Muslims. Ibn Warriq IMHO is a great commentator on Islam and is not heard enough.
I learned about the Religion of peace by reading John Laffin, James Kelley, and later Robert Spencer. I got my first inkling of what Islam was like by their actions in the weeks preceeding the Six Day War and watching the Munich Olympics on TV.

Inspiring stuff. He's a regular Joe - who put his shoulder to the wheel - citizen-scholar, like citizen-journalist, etc.

I just watched Andrew Bostom's entire Heritage Foundation "lesson" - I'm numb...
I learned so much - I never knew.. the length and breadth of Jihad.
We must unleash our military might and wipe them out. As my 82-yr old mother said, "we have to kill them all, it's the only way"
All my convictions are confirmed.
I'm afraid mom's right, we must pound them into submission... because they will never ever ever stop wanting to kill us. NEVER.
(now I'll check out the O'Reilly segment, then hear Atlas' interview, and prob come back)
Hasta!

Atlas' interview was great - to me the best part was when they talked about how to educate America on what is really going on, and how Muslims have been indoctrinated to Jihad.
All we can do is educate one at a time, I learned ahelluva lot today.
We're heavily outnumbered by the MSM and academia is infested with liberals, but we have one advantage - superior firepower.
We must unleash it... Andrew says we need to attack Iran's nukes - yesterday is not soon enough.
Unfortunately we'll get our education the hard way, then finally the libs will get the hell out of the way.
And after we bomb the shit out of them, THEN the Muslims will get THEIR education the hard way and we'll finally get our 1000 years of peace! Ahhh zzz zzz zzz.

The Mohammadan on O'Reilly was doing a fair bit of dancing. Each time Bostom mentioned an example of war jihad the Mohammadan said the verses referred to a specific time, place, and event; it didn't apply to today.
I was under the impression the Koran was the very words of Allah true for all people, in all situations, for all time. Did Allah whimsically change the rules again?
I love to point this out in arguements with the Mohammadans I know. It really makes them squirm. They never have a logical answer.

We should all refer to Muslims as Mohammedens. It drives them crazy, because they claim Mohammed was the model human being, but that Islam prohibits them from worshipping humans.
And what made Mohammed the model human being? He was a caravan raider, pedophile, polygamist, mass murderer, and liar--to name a few of his virtues.

Here;s a question for those who went to school in the 60s, 70s, 80s.
Did any of you ever receive the slighest education on Islam and its history?
I'm still wondering why it was all excised from our history books.

I was really dissappointed with O'Rielly, Mr No Spin Zone let the Muslim flat-out lie to him without a peep.

Why is it so hard to say 'Islam is the enemy'? There is no radical Islam because radical is the essence for Islam. The promotion of Islam with the subsequent conquest of the world by any means is what Islam is all about. Why is that so difficult to understand? As Mark Steyn has written, we can't defeat an enemy that we can't identify.

Because White House is shit-scared of ISLAM, why else, would Dubya, even when twin-towers were smouldering, chant 'Izlum is religion of peace'? Why would Condi hold Iftar dinners? Why would Karen Huges be appointed to address Muslim grieviences? Why would FBI get lessons on Muslim sensitivities? Finally, why would White House keep silent about the black Islamic flag on itself?
Like you ask, Why is it so difficult to understand? It is not rocket science, you know.

Yes. I received istruction on Islam in WORLD HISTORY class when I was a sophomore in High School, 1970. The teacher told us (actual quotes after all these years), "A guy in a dress climbs up to top the of a high tower called a minniret and calls out, T-IIII-MMMM-E T-OOOOO PR-AAAAAA-Y! He does this five times everyday. And all the people get down on their special prayer rugs and pray to Mecca where there is a black rock called the Kaaba Stone. They pray to the stone."
We were also taught how Islam spread, "The Muslims got their swords and got on their camels and horses. They rode very fast across the land asking people to convert or they would get their heads cut off. 'CONVERT OR DIE!' they told everybody."
The teacher said that even today in some parts of the old Mohammadan Empire, people will nod their heads for "NO" and shake their heads from side to side for "YES".
I found this teacher's lessons to be the longest lasting, the most honest, and the most trust worthy. I'm glad I had his class.
