Well, even in my semi-inebriated state (graduation night tonight, gimme a break) I really enjoy this blog, and am looking forward to that program...

The one good thing that I can think of when it comes to the likes of CAIR and others barbering on about "reform" while not meaning a word of it is that they're not only decieving the west, but a whole bunch of muslims too... Meaning that some will take it seriously. So "reform" gets bandied about enough, some will take action. Basically, heads we win, tails they loose.

I could NOT agree with you more regarding the Israeli elections. WTF are these people thinking??? Now IS the right time for Bebe...

I guess, and this is based on long hours of conversation with an Israeli cousin of mine, that they're tired. Tired of war, tired of killing and fear.

My cousin was in the IDF and was under Sharon when they went into Lebanon. That experience and what he has shared with me regarding his feelings about that operation specifically, truly astounded me.

He also supports Ohmert, heavily.

As you say, we are not there, we are not on the front lines so it IS difficult for us sometimes to understand. But on the flip side, maybe the Israeli's DO need an outside view, one that's not jaundiced and colored by being to close to the 'flame'.

The support shown in Congress was amazing. Just as amazing is the complete and total 'backout' of any meaningful reporting from the MSM. Am I surprised, hell no. Disappointed, hell yes. Mad, of course. But hey, I gave up on the MSM years ago.

Regarding CAIR..... How long must we wait before these terrorist enablers and supporters are driven from this country?

My many years of piano bar performance featured the over-sized tip jar seeded with a fin (unless booked for a private engagement).

The truth is that talent coupled with effort deserves reward. It's one thing to tell an artist that a performance was good, but it's another thing entirely to fairly reward the performer for going above and beyond. And Pam, you don't fail.

The part of this that saddens me is that the Mighty Atlas has had to (like a loving Mom sometimes has to) remind us that she needs something more than praise in return.

Lost in all the CAIR hubris is the larest FBI hate crime statistics. There are eight times more hate crimes against Jews and around six times as many hate crimes against Gays then Muslims. It seems highly probable that Muslims are more apt to commit hate crimes then to be a victim.

Honor Killings, FGM are regional practices that predate Islam. There is a depiction of an honor killing in Zorba the Greek and it was known among other reginal people such as Coptic Christians .

FGM is an East African practice that predates Islam. It is also performed by others and is a barbaric practice.

I will be back in NYC in about three months. Amazingly as DHS is gearing up to handle immigration mandates they are sending around 1000 workers home.

In keeping with the early remarks of Pamela's (Atlas)vlog, I was talking to my baby brother who lives in Israel and he said we survived Barak and we survived Sharon and we'll survive Olhmert. Olhmert may try to withdraw, but Hamas will attack every step of the way because they regard the action as weakness (which it is).

As for "tip jars"; etc., I'd have to re open my pen pal account which I closed about a month ago.
