Atlas Evening Vlog ~ Next Round's Mine!

  • MUST READ: The Muslim Brotherhood Project here, and brush up on your marksmanship skills, you gonna need 'em brother.
  • Speaking of the sinister French media (referred to in the vlog),  Augean Stables is running more intel on the most obvious and disgusting  act the French media, al durah.....here.It was pure Jew hatred, another contemptuous Dreyfus moment.

The New 9-11 Psyche
CBS News
When a jury decided against the death penalty for Zacarias Moussaoui, it may have been the biggest indication yet that Americans are getting some perspective on how to react to the tragedy of Sept. 11, 2001, says

On seeBS could see it this way. Yo, seeBS, it was not "the jury' - writing the way you have is  misleading and dishonest -  It was one lone juror, a big lefty pussy. "Perspective?"-- you lefty thumbsuckers! Are you kidding, that day will stay with me until the day I die. Those dear sweet souls flinging themselves out of those buildings by the hundreds. How dare you be so cavalier with my life, our lives, our children's lives, and the stability and future of this country. You are not fit to shine it's boots. Fools.

The muslim Brotherhood project....interesting read, certainly cause for concern, but not terribly surpriseing. Enjoy your mothers day.

I keep hearing 29%. Uh huh. Rassmussen has Bush at 39% approval.

It was little more than a week ago when Atlas said (in her maiden vlog) that she wasn't too sure about this medium when compared to blogging. I think the initial apprehension is waaaay gone.

The elites in the MSM can often be heard expressing their desire that the US be more like the Paris in France rather than the Paris in Texas. Looking at the way the French are so anxious to (once again) surrender to the agressors, why would anyone wish a similar fate on the US?

Happy Mom's Day to moms all this weekend.

Atlas, your bluntness is like a breath of fresh air in a stale, dank world. You and Michelle Malkin are always dead on target with your writing. Keep up the good work.

Edward is right, The Muzzy Brotherhood started in Egypt by a guy in jail who came to America saw short skirts and blew a fuse. That was then, now they are trying to present themselves as the moderate side of Islam while the spin off project, Al Qaeda, does the heavy lifting. If you want to see what they are up to check out Big Pharaoh in Egypt. They are a political party now and trying to win Egypt by election. They extend from Morocco to Syria in different forms of the same organization. Tariq Ramadan's brother or cousin is running it now and CAIR is affiliated with it.

Pamela--Happy Mother's Day. Maybe you can blog again Sunday and show off the goodies from your kinderen.

Clear something up, please? "Next round's mine"-- referral to NYers' propensity to take turns buying rounds at the saloon or the Atlas throw-down at the next cage match? Either way--one after on me.

Lost Mom 2/11/03 and not a day goes by (sigh); but sis and I have great memories that are remembered out loud whenever the family is together. Your passion, humor and love will be honored by yours in all your days and after. Count on it.

Wow. Shweitzer locales. Multi-generational plots and political cabals. It's straight from an 80's Ludlum novel (did he have special access?). I can almost hear the drive-time radio spot, "Read the latest from Bob Ludlum, published by Simon and Schuster, "The Abu Identity" followed next spring by the compelling "The Abu Supremacy". OK, without humor I'da' cracked long ago.

First fell h-over-h in love with NY in the early 70's and came (Maxwell Smart voice on) 'that close' (/)to accepting the Manhattan School of Music scholarship in '74 'til fiscal restraint kicked in with a blow to the posterior of my cranium. Lost most of that when Dinkens was the man and regained most under Giulliani. [Can you imagine Dinkens in charge 9/11? Oh. My. G*wd.] Koch would have been OK--not the G-man--but better than most.

Almost every crystal clear robin's-egg-blue day (like a portion of today) I find myself gazing skyward, remembering. That. Day.
Sweet heart--it was not hundreds that chose to jump rather than burn; but it was many. Even one was too many. And that's the way I put it to my kids, "These horrible men gave my brothers and sisters no choice other than jump to their inevitable deaths or suffer the flames".

Pamela. I want to read more from you. You sift and present wonderfully. Your concise comments are spot-on. The vlogs are raw and compelling and, no doubt, will get even better as you become ever more comfortable with the 5 minute medium.
I want Pam's reasoned thoughts. The kind that take an hour or two to present. You're a beacon--don't hide it under the bushel basket. I want depth and detail.

Once again, happy Mother's Day. 'Cause you, (like ev'ry other) are the bestest Mom ever!

Pamela, you are a true Dagny Taggart in a world of growing barbarism...It's great that a FReeper posted some of your Islamo-Fascist funny money.
I'm sure you've read Tony Blankley's The West's Last Chance which traces the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt to the current Islamo-Fascist wave.
It's more insidious than Communism because it never lost it's 7th Century roots.
It's a pleasure to view your VLogs and I wish you the best in this endeavour. You're great at it.

grrl blogger,
I don't know what is more attractive you or your mind. Keep up the good work.
Rusta

Happy Mother's Day, you've sure earned it.

Your take on Moussaoui is wrong (that is to say, I don't share your view)

Moussaoui's no good. The attack on September 11th in indescribably evil. Those two things just aren't that directly connected.

There are terminally juvenile Americans today who decorated themselves with swastikas and call themselves neo-nazis. Are they responsible for events seventy years ago?
Moussaoui's like that, a dumb as dogshit wannabe, who hero worships people who actually are evil incarnate. He's like a jerk kid who wants to be significant by identifying with what's most shocking.
He didn't plan the attack.
He didn't perpetrate the attack.
He had to be told enough of our intelligence so that in braggadocio he could confess.
To the real Al Quaida he idolizes, he's an incompetent clown.

He's worthless.
He's no good.
He's insignificant.
Killing him would be scapegoating.

I don't share your writing skill either. But if you'd read Charles Krauthammer's, or Thomas Sowell's recent pieces you could consider this point expressed more coherently.

I love reading your blog,
Sonar

What's on my mind? I was wondering if you're going to this, Personal Democracy Forum 2006 Conference ?

Rusta
Can't separate. The personality's on the face. The face is in the voice.

sonar,
Moussaoui was busted pre 9/11. Took flight lessons w/o take-off/landing training. Except for maybe Atta, the other 18 could probably have been revealed as stupid tools, too.

Atlas,

We LOVE the videos! Very cool!

About a year ago I found myself wondering if the Jihadis were working from a strategic planning document. Now we know the answer to that question.

That 'we' found a copy of this document is both encouraging and at the same time troubling. It is encouraging because perhaps it can be used to educate the ding-bats and self-absorbed of the real threat that is before us.

It is discouraging to know that the US gov has not declassified the document, and who knows what other investigative findings, that would even further demonstrate not only the physical danger of attacks but the greater danger of the organized agenda to destroy western civilization. I am not a 'conspiracy theorist.' What we have in this "Project" document is a key, strategic find. The importance of this discovery is many orders of magnitude greater than would have been the advance discovery of Japan's detailed plans to attack Pearl Harbor.

There are valid reasons for classifying documents and findings of anti-terror raids. However, let us hope that the reason the gov has kept this under wraps is NOT to further propagate the PC BS line of Religion of Peace, blah, blah, blah...

On the president's approval rating:

It is important to realize, and I think many of us do, that the way you ask a subjective question, or present the data has a very significant impact on the outcome of the data. Even without a question being skewed toward one political persuasion or another, a question that asks, "Do you approve of the President's performance?" has no base-line or metric. For instance, there are a number of issues on which I disagree with (or 'dis-approve' of) the decisions of President Bush. However, in no way does this mean that I wish I had voted for John (PTOOH!) Kerry!

For instance, there may be poll respondents that vote "dis-approve" because W still gets going on that "Religion of Peace" crap. I know a lot of conservatives that are fed up with that lie. (To buy that line now, one must be a registered moonbat or barely hanging on by life-support!) Does that mean they think the other party would do better? NOT!

A blessing on your heads! Loved every comment, even the ones I don't agree with.

All moussaoui had to do was open his mouth. He knew

Ayn Rand at 100: "Yours is the Glory"

  • Aynrandstamp_1

  • Speaking to the unnamed, unchampioned, beating heart of her new land, Ayn was to say: 'Yours is the glory.'"
A man whose ability and independence leads others to reject him, but who perseveres nevertheless to achieve his values. Man as an individual, as a creator. What's the most depraved type of human being? Not a sadist or a murderer or a sex maniac or a dictator; "The man without a purpose." Yet most people seem to go through their lives without a clearly defined purpose.

Barter

  • Life has Loveliness to sell,
    All beautiful and splendid things,
Blue waves whitened on a cliff,
Soaring fires that sways and swing,
    And children's faces looking up,
    Holding wonder like a cup

    Life has Loveliness to sell,
Music like a curve of Gold,
Scent of pinetrees in the rain,
Eyes that love you, arms that hold,
And for your spirit's still delight,
Holy stars that star the night.

Spend all you have for loveliness,
    Buy it and never count the cost;
For one white singing hour of Peace
Count many a year of strife well lost
And for a breath of ecstasy
Give all you have been, or could be.
