Tony: Snowstorm Over DC
It's official.................Tony Snow will replace McClellan if Snow's last cat scan comes in clean tomorrow, according to FOX News. How mad hot is that?
This is a great thing. An extraordinarily great thang. I will not miss a White House Press Conference. Let the live blogging begin...........or vlogging, if my readers have anything to say about it.
Yo Toe- kick ass and take no prisoners. The truth tellers are counting on you.

UPDATE: Signed, sealed delivered here. As they say in Mickey Dees, I'm lovin it.
UPDATE: hOO ah...........Alexandra rocks. This is mad hot

As much as I want to celebrate, I am cautious. How many times have we seen bona fide hellraisers head to DC and become docile? Mr. Snow will no longer be free to speak what he thinks - he has to "communicate" the President's positions on the issues. Yikes - with the issue of border security morphing into immigration reform, and trying to teach the Press Corps some Econ 101 when it comes to gas prices, I don't see many fun days in store for Mr. Snow.

I think Tony is the right man for the right job... Cross our fingers and wish him well...

The question is, "What changes, the post or the man?" One or both have to bend somewhat in this case. Let's hope it's the post that changes the most.
More importantly, will he be allowed to say "That's a stupid question ma'am. Next question, please"?

More importantly, will he be allowed to say
"Helen, you forgot to shave this morning"

This is perfect. i love Tony Snow, he is a true conserviative with a deep understanding of the issues who will not let questions front loaded with BS stand unchallenged. I foresee many wonderful press briefings.
