At least 50 persons were wounded, with 15 sustaining moderate to severe injuries.

The Islamic Jihad terror group and the Al Aksa Brigades, the military wing of the Fatah party, have claimed responsibility for the attack. Fatah is the party of PLO (Palestine Liberation Organization) leader Mahmoud Abbas, and his predecessor, PLO terrorist chieftain Yassir Arafat.

In 1993, Israel signed the Oslo Accords and ceded control of heavily populated Arab areas to the Palestinian Authority. When the accords were signed, the PLO and its largest component, Fatah, pledged in writing to refrain from carrying out terrorist attacks or from using violence of any kind against Israel.

Oslo was the biggest mistale Israel ever made. You can not negotiate a peace if you haven't beaten the enemy. Thoroughly. Negotiation only empowers the tactics of the savages. It didn't work in Paris with the Viet Cong, it won't work with these animals. Germany and Japan post war efforts were so successful because those countries were so thoroughly beaten. The Pali Arabs and their enablers must be thoroughly beaten.

The left wing in Israel will destroy that country much the same way they are destroying America. Israel is infected with the same disease (liberalism) as the US and most countries of the world. It bespoils everything it touches.

The Al Aksa Brigades and the Islamic Jihad have been cooperating extensively to carry out terrorist attacks against Israel, especially since Hamas won a pivotal parliamentary election in the Palestinian Authority last January.

"A Palestinian suicide bomber blew himself up outside a fast-food restaurant in a bustling area of Tel Aviv during the Passover holiday Monday, killing eight other people and wounding at least 49 in the deadliest Palestinian attack in more than a year," the Associated Press reports. This is in Tel Aviv, not the disputed territories:

The Palestinians' new Hamas leaders called the attack a legitimate response to Israeli "aggression." Israel said it held Hamas ultimately responsible--even though a different militant group, Islamic Jihad, claimed responsibility--and would respond "as necessary." . . .

Witness Israel Yaakov said the blast killed a woman standing near her husband and children.

"The father was traumatized. He went into shock. He ran to the children to gather them up and the children were screaming, 'Mom! Mom!' and she wasn't answering, she was dead already . . . it's a shocking scene," Yaakov said.

Another witness, 62-year-old Sonya Levy, said she had just finished shopping when the blast occurred.

"I was about to get into my car, and boom! There was an explosion. A bit of human flesh landed on my car and I started to scream," she said. There's much more here.

It's not radical Islamists, it's Islam and its worshippers Muslims. All the other 'names' are just to deflect that it is not 'mainstream' Islam. I don't believe that for 1 minute.

The Hamas government says this was a legitimate attack. Really? Then how about having a squadron or two of F-16s loaded with cluster bombs go and attack a heavily crowded Palestinian market in response?

The time has come to take off the gloves. For every suicide bomber attack, Israel should airbomb one Palestinian city out of existence. 10,000 Palestinian casualties and the loss of a noticeable percentage of their infrastructure will either make the Palestinians see the error of their ways...or exhaust their numbers to the point where there won't be any of the bastards left to commit these attacks!

I agree with John Sobieski , the real dilemma is the message of islam and its quran, this religion was founded in a warlike aims against every non muslims , they have the Truth not us they must fight us till the end.
