Sunday, April 9th, is the three year anniversary of the day Saddam Hussein fled Baghdad and his atatue was toppled. It was a great day for Iraq and a great day for America.
We must not forget that we have achieved our objective in Iraq. We have liberated Iraq and removed a brutal dictator from a state that sponsored terrorism. Play it again Sam, One mo' time!
Iraq is but one front in the long, terrible eradication of Islamofascism.
My son LCPL Justin M. Ellsworth was
killed on November 13, 2004 outside of Fallujah. He died believing in
the mission on the War on Terror and the positive
things that were
happening in Iraq. Read more here.
In September of 2004, Justin had just arrived in Iraq when I asked
him his opinion of the war. He said, “Dad, we have to be here, they
want us here and we are making a difference in the lives of these
people.”
So I must ask, if LCPL Justin Ellsworth U.S.M.C. can see the
difference that the Coalition troops are making in the lives of Iraqis,
why can’t we?
I have made it my goal to get the positive news in Iraq out to the
media for Justin and the countless number of people who stand along
side of him, and have joined with an organization to do just that. Learn more here.

What a great picture followed by that moving story from a Gold Star family! God bless him and all those who have lost loved ones. We have NOT forgotten them or their mission!
All of these photographs above show a few of the many signs that the Iraqi people are grateful for the freedom they have received and that our troops are dedicated to their mission. After reading the article in the Washington Times (http://washingtontimes.com/national/20060403-122152-1985r.htm) it is obvious that people across the country are frustrated with the one sided story that we are getting from the media. I commend Families United for Our Troops and the strong and brave families who support the organization. Please read the article from the link above. It is true that we must get the word out by a different vehicle than the "free press". Use your voice and your keypad and lets make sure that our troops and our citizens know the truth.

Speaking to the unnamed, unchampioned, beating heart of her new land, Ayn was to say: 'Yours is the glory.'"
A man whose ability and independence leads others to reject him, but who perseveres nevertheless to achieve his values. Man as an individual, as a creator. What's the most depraved type of human being? Not a sadist or a murderer or a sex maniac or a dictator; "The man without a purpose." Yet most people seem to go through their lives without a clearly defined purpose.
Life has Loveliness to sell,
All beautiful and splendid things,
Blue waves whitened on a cliff,
Soaring fires that sways and swing,
And children's faces looking up,
Holding wonder like a cup
Life has Loveliness to sell,
Music like a curve of Gold,
Scent of pinetrees in the rain,
Eyes that love you,
arms that hold,
And for your spirit's still delight,
Holy stars that star the night.
Spend all you have for loveliness,
Buy it and never count the cost;
For one white singing hour of Peace
Count many a year of strife well lost
And for a breath of ecstasy
Give all you have been, or could be.
Damn good pic and video.
