Dhimmi CBS Bends Over in Religion of Peace Poll

(CBS) Although Americans believe they are better informed about Islam than they were five years ago, a new CBS News poll finds fewer than one in five say their impression of the religion is favorable.

What's with the "although"? Ben wrote, that one word implies that the writer is morally superior/smarter than 4 out of 5 Americans. Which, of course, the writer very much believes.

Forty-five percent of respondents queried April 6 - 9 said they have an unfavorable view of Islam, a rise from 36 percent in February. And the public’s impression of Islam has diminished even more compared with four years ago. In February 2002 – less than six months after the terrorist attacks of September 11 – the country was evenly divided in its impression of Islam.

Despite the media's reluctance to report on the Islamofascists war on the West, Americans can't help  being better informed on "Islam." I  don't give the lamestream media credit for Americans being better informed on "Islam." I credit the body count, the bombings, the cartoons, al qaeda, headless bodies, Eurabia, ...........you know, the usual.

There was a time Americans never thought about these atrocities or Islam for months, years at a time. Now, not  a day  goes by where they are not, for one reason or another, forced to think or hear  about, the  Religion of Peace. And frankly, they don't like  it.

Someone alert the thumbsucking media, this ain't Europe, and we ain't Europeans.

The best part about those who want to do damage to America, be they Islamofascists or marching illegal aliens too cowardly to protest in their own countries is that they always make the same mistake: They continue to do or say things that keep them current in the consciousness of Americans who daily grow more in touch with being annoyed and resolute in resisting them.

Will the mind never cease to amaze me? Does the author not see at all that his open sentence is laden with bias and a putdown of the ignorant 'peasants?' To him, Islam is an oppressed 'race' unfairly criticized by the peasants. Fortunately the peasants see right through it.
