His body being ravaged and cannibalized by angry young boys at a Spanish coastal resort:
He-he was lying naked on the broken stones... It looked as if-as if they had devoured him!...As if they'd torn or cut parts of him away with their hands, or with knives, or those jagged tin cans they made music with. As if they'd torn bits of him away in strips!

The rest of the U.N. members voted against the U.S. position the vast majority of the time, and dozens of countries voted along with America ZERO PERCENT of the time.

Former Sudanese Slave Tells His Story to Gather Support for Freedom Walk Read this whole piece. I met Deng at Columbia here. It was Deng that opened my eyes to the savage enslavement and wanton murder perpetrated on the good people of Darfur by the Arab Radical Islamic Sudanese government. Go to the Rally. I am.
When Simon Deng was eight years old, Arab marauders from the north of his native Sudan sacked his village and burned the tribal elders alive. The next year he was kidnapped and given to a Muslim family as their slave. His masters beat Mr. Deng, a black man from southern Sudan, forcing him to sleep with animals and overworking him to exhaustion. They promised him they would stop if he forsook Christianity, converted to Islam, and took an Arab name. But he never did.
"You are looking at a human being who, at one time, he was a gift," Mr. Deng said. "I was constantly under terror. I would cry for mercy, but always that mercy is not there."

Thanks, Atlas.
Wafa says it all quite clearly, and I love her background picture.
So the foolish Muslim cleric claims she is a heratic, and therefore not worth talking to. Brilliant responce.
And you gotta love where she doesn't care if he worships stones, just don't throw them at me. Hahahahahahahahaha

Shoot...I really wanted to read that article about the man from Darfur and slavery. I hate registering for news sites though. *sigh*

Meg, You must register for the New York Sun. If you register for nothing else, that's fine but the Sun is the best resource, the finest newspaper, hands down.
It is a must read for me everyday. Best intel out there.

You'll thank me

This is a joke right?
Jeers and Heckling Greet Annan At Staff Meeting at United Nations U.N. staffers heckled and booed Secretary-General Annan yesterday in a raucous meeting after he presented a "management reform" plan
They were booing a U.S. endorsed plan, spurred on by Bush and Bolton that included outsourcing U.N. jobs to private firms. They weren't really booing Annan as much as the plan we pushed for, so given your idol worship of Bolton, you really think you should be engaging in so much shadenfreude?
and Israel must continue to pay Hamas
Putting it kindly, this is a mischaracterization. Israel doesn't pay HAMAS anything, they return the taxes and customs they collect on Palestinian merchanidise (from Palestinians) to the Palestinian Authority. Given that Palestine has no port access because there is a country sitting where they used to live, it's not exactly charity.
It was Deng that opened my eyes to the savage enslavement and wanton murder perpetrated on the good people of Darfur
Or you could have just read a fucking newspaper. You do realize the people of Darfur are already Muslim don't you and not really related to the now-ended civil war with the Christian south? I just don't want anything to get in the way of your sanctimony and concern down the road.
I say no way, how dare the world expect Israel to mop this up?
The world isn't asking Israel to do anything. The idiot twat Shaul Mofaz is just spouting out his pie hole in election year posturing/whining.
Trust me, the world would be better off if Mofaz and other fools would stop boasting about launching missile attacks on Hamas (who has observed a cease fire for a year now) that kill innocent people. Of course it wouldn't be good politics for Mofaz if there weren't some suicide bombings during his election run. No blood spilt means no sanctimony. Whatever would the right do if they didn't have Arabs to vilify?
Hamas leadership and the Israeli right both kill innocent children and rely on the violence of each other to gain power from their largely idiotic and nationalistic populations.
Don't worry, if Israel were really going to "do something" about Iran, AIPAC wouldn't have trotted out Bolton and Kay to launch their next little war.
