This is the third email I have received like this in as many days..........XEROX has blocked me as well.
This page (http://atlasshrugs2000.typepad.com/atlas_shrugs/) has been classified as a Extreme site and has been blocked per RC-EB-POL-002, Use and Monitoring of Computing Resources. If you feel that this is in error, please contact the Helpdesk at (VPN)http://atlasshrugs2000.typepad.com/atlas_shrugs/
Please help me fight for free speech and truth telling. We can not let the left shut out the truth tellers. Please let mw know where I have been blocked and ask that Atlas Be unblocked. Anyone with any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
INTERNET JIHAD!
UPDATE: Another reader writes: "Add Pfizer to the list of companies that have blocked your web site."
What is happening? As an American am I not free to think? Having an opinion is suddenly a crime?
Last week a Marine in Iraq wrote to tell me some leftard blocked my site from the USMC (Marines) in Iraq. Imagine that! I love, support, admire, would kill for our guys over there. Whoever blocked my site in Iraq must have been in cahoots with those shitheads in Centcom that gave classified military strategy secrets to the Russians Who were those guys that put our soldiers and military campaign in harms way?
UPDATE: Are American Companies Aiding Islam? Because it sure looks that way...
UPDATE: One small step for Atlas, one giant step for free speech (or vice versa);

You can certainly complain but private corps. have the right no matter how stupid.

It's true, private corps can read your email, and they can block any sites they see fit. Obviously, however, since this just happened, somebody put them up to it. You may be able to file a lawsuit against the corps in order to get discovery to find out who it was who put pressure on them to block you, and then sue THEM for defamation, or for tortious interference with contractual or prospective contractual relations.
In the mean time, name them and shame them. Put up a hall of shame, listing all the corps that consider you "extreme" for telling the truth as the Dhimmi apologists that they are.
Urge people to boycott them. Go to EDGAR and find out who's on the board of directors and who the major shareholders are and list them as well.

Reason #999 why I'm glad I'm retired and don't have to worry about a company network.

"RC-EB-POL-002, Use and Monitoring of Computing Resources" ... Dem's fightin' words.
When the fight is a Rule & a Machine vs. an Idea & an Individual, along the way, now matter how strenuous the fight, it's also a pleasure. And in the end it's no contest at all (no contest of equals, anyway).

Sorry, but a business has the right to block your site - company computers are supposed to be used for work related activities.
But the other commentors may have a point, that a worker at the company complained about your site.
or more likely they complained that your reader was spending too much time reading your blog, and not working

Agree that companies have the right to block sites not related to business activities. I just wonder how many other non-business related sites remain unblocked at Pfizer. Just saying. Among other products, a boycott would mean choosing between viagra or levitra.

Sure, private companies can always block anyone they wish. But yes, someone put them up to it. And it need not be a defender of Islam either. A defender of Michael Moore would do just fine. My experience is that the bozo left will use any excuse they can find to shut down opposing viewpoints.
